Excellent Video! Sorry for butting in, I would love your opinion. Have you considered - Taparton Playing Hands Takeover (should be on google have a look)? It is an awesome exclusive guide for naturally improving your eyesight minus the headache. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my old buddy Taylor after many years got cool success with it.
OMGosh THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH !!! I Was trying to put them on the outside of the lenses!!! After holding them in place for over 30 minutes, i was about to Give Up and send them back !! As a Last Ditch effort, i decided to check RUclips, and There you were !!! It took a whopping 4 minutes to get BOTH Installed, and I'm Typing with them Right Now !!! THANK YOU SOOOOO Much !!! You're a Life Saver !!!
Thank you for studying this so closely, developing your clever methods, and doing the work to bring them so effectively to the world on video. People like you make the Internet worthwhile! I haven't yet found a solution for using these in a swim goggle which I would usually defog using a defogging solution followed by a water rinse, but I've just begun experimenting and I hope something will work out.
I agree with the other viewer. Great tutorial-the company should give you free pairs for life! Way better than the instructions. I had these lenses for over a year and wasn’t sure what to do with them as my attempts to install them all failed. Couldn’t return them as I cut them to size. Thanks again. 👍😎
Whoa! That was FANTASTIC! Thank you so much! (Although I am not quite as patient as you, so I drew a cut-here line with a dry erase marker and used scissors.) But the "floating" them on under running water is WAY BETTER than trying to stick them on with "a few drops of water" per the instructions. I find these to be SO MUCH LESS DISTRACTING than my $700 rx bifocals which drive me INSANE with "image jump" (i.e. huge blurry line across the middle of my vision). Wish I'd tried these stick on lenses FIRST.
For trimming these, I found that sewing scissors work the best as they are super sharp. I had to trim mine quite a bit and just followed the curve little by little. I hope I don't lose them as these are great. I put them in a pair of vintage looking glasses.
Thank you for making this great video. I use +1.25 diopter sun glasses for driving, and will install the bifocal +2.5 lenses on the bottom so the dashboard comes in clear. No one to my knowledge makes bifocals with two different diopter readers. The blended gradual bifocals did not work for me, the focus was too narrow of a band to be useful. Again, thanks.
Good tips. Thanks. I got Hydrotac recenttly 2021 and they didn't have any curve as mentioned here. Also I found it much easier to get a good cut with a sharp scissor than with a blade. Perhaps they are a bit thinner these days.
Great video, but try as I might, I can't get the lenses to conform to the curve of my sunglasses. They keep pulling away, so the top halves of the lenses are essentially all bubble with air behind them. Only the bottom halves of the lenses adhere correctly to my sunglasses. The curves of the lenses are the correct orientation.
I just got a new pair of glasses in a very weak distance prescription with +1 near add for the first time, I wore single vision before. I noticed my near vision worse in my right eye which actually went a bit farsighted, distance is +.25. But fine print is blurry in that eye unless I use magnifying lens. I just got my new glasses, they look like single vision because the rx is so weak and they are progressives, and the near vision portion for the right eye seems not strong enough, it’s +1.25 but I could use a +2 or a +3 for that eye. I’m not going back to the lady doc to complain, the glasses were $300 with 50% off, they would have been $600. So I have the bifocal stick ons like you have here but how well do they stick with just water? I have a pack of +1.50 and +3. I bought two different strengths because I want to experiment and see which strength works better for each eye.
You went down the rabbit hole👍. But my glasses of course do not have a frame on bottom ( a point you really held on to ). The part I needed was the last 15 seconds ( making them stick ). All the rest was obvious to me. Very frustrating, but thanks for 15 seconds.
Thanks for the excellent tutorial. I wonder what would be the best soap to use? The instructions say use a oil-free soap. I am not sure what that would be.
I've owned several of these stick-on lenses but the most recent purchase just won't stick. New glasses, new Hydrotac lenses. Any ideas? The lenses are not flat and the curves match. They just won't keep water under the lens.
I hope they didn't change their formula. I honestly have not purchased new lenses since this video. The lenses in this video are still serving me well. All I can suggest is install using warm water, clean lens well and match curves on the lenses.
Once installed, they can easily be removed by picking up an edge or corner and peeling it off. The lens will not leave any stain or residue behind and can be reinstalled.
no need to reinvent the wheel, here. They are already factory designed to just place inside the lenses of any glasses. These look like a child project and take ten times the amount of time and effort.
This doesn’t surprise me as the lenses are held in place by dry surface tension. Water will release the lenses and keeping a mask dry throughout a dive is beyond my typically experience but then again I only had about 450 dives, maybe someday I will get better at keeping my mask dry.
great explantation. Much better than the product instructions. You should get a commission!

EXCELLENT TUTORIAL! Thanks, from Brazil,.

You obviously spent a lot of time making this video. Excellent job! I am gonna buy this brand based on your video.
Thanks for the tips, you are awesome!
fantastic!!! so helpful, thank you hugely! :)
Thank you kindly Sir! 👍
Great instructions, thank you. But please tell me you have trimmed your nails since 2016? As one who manscapes, I kept focusing on you long nails.
Wow, I didn't even notice he had HANDS. I was too busy looking at the glasses, haha!
Perhaps he plays classical guitar?
Or, perhaps he's not a pussy manscaper?
Lots of reasons out there.

Merci pour l'explication dont je trouve très importante ❤
De nanda.

I used liquid dishsoap. Just the cheap orange stuff I wash my dishes with.
Do these come in +3.5 power..?
How about using a dremel?
excellent

This helped. Thanks.
Is there a way to remove it
Once installed, they can easily be removed by picking up an edge or corner and peeling it off. The lens will not leave any stain or residue behind and can be reinstalled.
AnInnerCityKid Is there a way to remove one thats been on for years?
no need to reinvent the wheel, here. They are already factory designed to just place inside the lenses of any glasses. These look like a child project and take ten times the amount of time and effort.
The lenses hold in the mask only if there is no water in it.
Absolutely unsuitable for diving.

Nope! No adhesion using this method either. Won’t ever buy these again. Useless items.
