Thank you guys for the tips, just came back from a 10-day trip to Japan. Your insights were extremely valuable, I do have some suggestions, we did Tokyo(5), Kyoto, Osaka(5), Hiroshima, For a family of 3 - 4.1 lacks 1. Do not take the JR pass, it is not worth it with the increase in price. Instead, just take a Suica card from NRT airport, load 5k Yen, and use it for all the local travel throughout Japan ( Kyoto, Oska, Hiroshima, Tokyo, etc.) 2. Get the Hiroshima Kansai Pass if you are planning to go to Hiroshima, it is a 5-day pass that covers bullet trains between Odaka, Kyoto, and Hiroshima plus the ferry to Miyajima island. Vey cheap instead of the JR pass. 3. Note, the subway system in Japan is private, so even if you buy JR pass it won't cover some trains, better to buy and use Suica. 4. Stay in Osaka instead of Kyoto, hotel rates are cheaper and it connects to all other locations easily 5. If you are traveling with kids, use Klook to book a day trip to Mt Fuji from Tokyo( 5K INR), and Kyoto( 5INR) from Osaka. It will take the hassle of traveling. 6. Mt Fuji trip was the best, and pray you get to see Fuji in all its glory, if there is rain or thee weather is cloudy you will miss it, I suggest going in April - May, luckily we had no issue in November 7. Buy a good shoe, I hit 20k steps daily, and from each station, there is a mile to walk to the tourist places. 8. Get an esim from Klook, google Maps is your friend, but it does not show you the amount of walking to be done in each station, or platform to take. 9. Eat your food from convenience stores instead of restaurants, high quality and cheap, 7/11 or lawsons. Else try Japanese curry houses. Do not eat from Indian restaurants. 10. Take Yen from India if you can for the whole trip, carry some USD or Indian debit card just in case, and take money from 7/11 ATMs they give good rates. 11. I suggest Disney Sea instead of Disney land, either is so crowded and if you do not have kids just skip it please, so overhyped . Some rides like pirates were good in disney land. 12. Download Go taxi, but do not take taxi unless necessary 13. You can rent strollers from stations like Ueno , try it if you have kids 14. Look for APA hotels, they are cheap and good for family of 3 15. carry a plastic cover, there are no dustbins in most places 16. Do Team Labs borderless instead of planets, it is better 17. Book Bullet train tickets from Smartex website, it gives a better rate than Klook, and best of all you can get First class for low price 18. Even if you have a JR pass or have an online ticket, make sure to reserve your seat before travel, it is more convenient than going in unreserved class 19. Eat everying , do not miss the flavours of Japan, and skip Ramen , it is so overhyped and just yuk 20. PLEASE adhere to regional Laws, Do not give Indians a bad name by littering or shouting in trains
Yaha ka mahol bht hi depressive hain, meri hato me bhi chot lagi hain..😢😢lekin ap dono itne time khade hoke vdo banaya😮iske liye bht bht dhanyabad..thanks a lot..stay happy and blessed ❤❤❤❤

Thanks guys!! your videos are helping us to plan our trip to Japan. We are visiting in Feb. In klook we have lot of options of tickets for Universal Studio. We are looking to cover both ( Harry Potter Studio+ Nintendo). Can you suggest which one we can opt for?
Hi, your videos have been very helpful - Thanks. I am planning a trip to Japan in June for family of 4 (2 kids). What you suggest I should take care of considering June will be a rainy season. I do plan to visit Disney, Universal and Legoland
Hello! Amazing, you and your family will enjoy it. When it rains the only thing to keep in mind is to keep a few additional days in hand to finish off everything from your itinerary. Also, make sure to carry raincoats for kids or buy it from familymart since the rain can be windy in Japan.
Super content, I think your series has been my go to for planning my Japan trip. I need your help to see how you got the Suica card. Did you apply in advance for it along with JR pass? We're a group of 4 adults and 2 kids, so we're going to get JR for all as needed. But I'm slightly unsure of how to apply for Suica.
Thank you so much! 🙌🏻😊 You can get the Suica card at the JR office itself where you will get the JR pass from. I have shown it in a detailed manner, check my first video of Japan series 🙌🏻😊

Hello, thanks for subscribing 🙏🏻 I’d say March-April and September-October are the best times to travel as they have the best weather for exploring and enjoying the outdoors.
In Osaka USJ, you can experience the rides, Hogwarts and diagon alley. In Tokyo, there are no rides but you can experience the details of the movie production and the movie sets. Both are unique in their own ways. Hope you can also cover Kyushu and Hokkaido next time. Maybe rent a car and drive through the beautiful scenery.
Hello! I have seen all of your videos. You two complement each other really well. I am planning to go to Japan in November. I will land in Tokyo and will visit Kyoto and Osaka. When I checked bullet train prices on Klook, the total cost will be around 17k. So I feel the JR Pass is not worth it. What are your thoughts? Keep it up, guys! I am looking forward to more content on your channel.
Thank you so much! 🙌🏻❤️😊 For only Tokyo- Kyoto- Osaka I wont recommend JR wide pass. Buy tickets directly on klook! Will be much cheaper. You can even use our discount code on Klook and see if that helps to get you a good deal 🙌🏻😊
Hi, if we book for return flights from Tokyo , and we are planning to do three cities Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto, how is this option to travel to Osaka right after landing in Tokyo on day 1 cover Osaka and Kyoto for first 5 nights and come back to Tokyo for rest 4 nights since we will be flying out of Tokyo?
Hi! I would suggest to keep landing in Tokyo and fly out from Osaka unless you find a crazy deal from Tokyo. You can easily do Tokyo-Osaka via any Shinkansen train and takes around 2.5 hours. Checkout Klook app for tickets or 12go Asia. You can even buy tickets directly from any train station
Hi Prateek - love your videos as they are so informative and you provide honest reviews ... had a query - I was talking to a travel agent for getting tourist visa for Japan ..among other documents like bank statements and ITR , confirmed tickets etc they are telling NOC from office also is mandatory required ..so wanted to know there if is any standard template for the same and if you guys also had to provide it
Hey! Thank you 🙌🏻😊❤️ Yes, if applying from India, NOC certificate is a must stating that you are working with xx company and you are on paid leaves and company has no objection to it.
Hey! You can easily do at any trai stations across Japan. There are these vending machines/ ticket machines where you insert the card, add the amount using cash only and you are ready to go. Hardly takes 10 seconds
Yes! During the validity of your JR pass. And also, only for trains on the JR line be it a local, superfast, Shinkansen, bus, ferry, etc. all included. Shinkansen only included in JR wide pass
Hello prateek, for super mario bros do we buy priority pass for that? We would be going on a weekday hence do you advise that we should reach the place early by 8ish. Also is it worth seeing disneysea ?
Hey bro. You don’t need a priority pass for that. There was a queue for one ride but moved pretty quickly. Honestly, we didn’t buy any priority pass but were able to see all the major attractions within a day. We started at 11 and finished by 8 PM.. we went on a Thursday but you can see the crowd. Dont think weekend or weekday will make lot of difference since it was mostly all tourists.. we didn’t do Disney sea this time, maybe next time!
@@TravelwithPrateek Ah, now I understand why you have so many videos about Thailand and the Southeast Asia region. Not sure what you guys do there but I would have done the same if I had the chance years ago. If I had decided to relocate there, I would have chosen Singapore or Kuala Lumpur as my hub. However, after visiting Thailand last December, I completely fell in love with the country. I was amazed by how modern and clean it was, and I really enjoyed the food and the friendly people. Since I visited in December, I can’t quite imagine what it’s like during the monsoon season. Although I only explored Bangkok and Chiang Mai, I know there’s so much more to discover in Thailand. However, it’s a somewhat unpredictable place, and you never know when things might change. The political situation also means that rules are constantly being updated. Anyway, as the saying goes - make hay while the sun shines. Wishing you all the best in your endeavours and journeys.
we are missing the disney world in out trip as many online saying its too crowded and not worth it, do u think its a right decision, we are definitely going to universal tho.

One feedback whenever you name any hotels or place to travel can you have some banner coming up in video telling the price as this would be really helpful. Coz one point of time u have to rewind back hear it couple of times to hear the name properly. Also we are repeating few things again n again n its gets boring. I really like ur videos but just few things i am very keen. Rating can also be provided on video banner
Hi bro, i think its not applicable on JR pass. I saw the 'non-applicable' list by Klook later. Sorry about that, but in general you can use it from any country
How can we travel inside the city in Tokyo?. Can we travel by local train with JR Pass? or do we need to travel by bus by paying extra for the ticket. can you provide the details please. Thankyou Verymuch
Hey! You can use any mode of transport that is included in JR pass. Any bus, train, ferry under JR can be used with the Jr pass. Not recommended to use JR for local transport but for long distance only through Shinkansen. You can use Day passes on Tokyo which is more convenient and cheaper.
I will be traveling to USA and wish to apply for Japan visa from there. I hold an Indian passport. I am told by the visa services that I will have to be in my home country to apply for Japan visa. Do you have any idea about this ? You got your visa from Bangkok. How come ?
Hi! Yes, Japan or schengen visa needs to be applied from home country unless you hold a long term visa of that country.. we have long term Thailand visa hence were able to apply from here.. process was almost same except no need to submit Flights and hotel booking.. 🙌🏻😊
Hi Prateek, we like watching your videos and follow you everywhere. You have a wider fan base than India (we are in Dubai) and need to inform the same to Klook as well. Klook does not allow us your discount codes because we are marked as UAE on your AppStore. Hope you fix this with them!
Hi prateek this is kamal from calgary Canada..I put your coupon code to get JR pass from Klook but it doesn’t work..how much discount I will get from Klook website from your coupon.
Hi Kamal, maybe its not applicable to the JR pass. You can try signing up with this link to get some discount: www.klook.com/invite/PFH43S/?Dios_pagespm%3DInvite_textversion%3D1_shareid%3D69699180-EC1E-498C-84E4-D0284FA6C573&_currency=THB

Hi bro your jr promo code is not working when we are Booking from europe ..!! It is Just for India ?
Hi bro, i think its not applicable on JR pass. I saw the 'non-applicable' list by Klook later. Sorry about that, but in general you can use it from any country
thankyou
Welcome ❤️🙌🏻😊
How can we travel inside the city in Tokyo?. Can we travel by local train with JR Pass? or do we need to travel by bus by paying extra for the ticket. can you provide the details please. Thankyou Verymuch
Hey! You can use any mode of transport that is included in JR pass. Any bus, train, ferry under JR can be used with the Jr pass. Not recommended to use JR for local transport but for long distance only through Shinkansen. You can use Day passes on Tokyo which is more convenient and cheaper.
@@TravelwithPrateek Thankyou very much for the detailed info.
@@loymartis3501 no problem!
Do you think Japan is good for female solo travel??
Yes! One of the best! ❤️

@@TravelwithPrateek SO HOW CAN i APPLY FOR VISA WHILE STAYING IN THAILAND , GUIDE ME
Hi Prateek, we like watching your videos and follow you everywhere. You have a wider fan base than India (we are in Dubai) and need to inform the same to Klook as well. Klook does not allow us your discount codes because we are marked as UAE on your AppStore. Hope you fix this with them!
Thank you so much for always for supporting our channel! Means alot 🙌🏻❤️😊 I am working with klook to fix this, hopefully will get it resolved soon 🙌🏻
