If you’re paying $2,500 in fees on top of MSRP you need to find another dealer.
I live near Gettysburg, PA and I’m picking up my new Rancher FA6 this weekend. Found one in Fredericksburg, VA for MSRP of $8,799. I’m adding a winch and plow and their total was $12,868. I told them I wasn’t paying freight, prep and all the other BS fees and was only willing to pay MSRP on the unit and accessories, tax and reg fee which added up to about 11,600. They basically told me to pound sand. My next call was to a dealer in WV, which is only about 20 miles farther away than first dealer. Got the same unit, same accessories, installation for TOTAL price of $11,118. Saved myself nearly $1,800 simply by refusing the BS dealer fees and a 10 minute phone call.
I can’t blame you for buying a Honda. Very reliable and work ready
Congratulations you have worked so hard for this -you deserve it !!!!! Can’t wait to see more videos -keep them coming !!!
I just purchased one exactly like that for my son. He is already putting it through it's paces. He loves it.
Congratulations on your first brand new 4 wheeler. I bought both my 2006 and 2008 honda rancher 4x4 foot shift models brand new. My 2008 is still on the original battery here in 2023 and this 4 wheeler should last me the rest of my life.
I have a 2023 and love it ,had a 2013 loved it to . Trailer is the way to go, because then you can leave gun racks and boxes on and still use it for feeding and fire wood
Congratulations!!! I have a 2013 Honda Rancher 420 4x4 and I love it. I have a wrench on it and cheaper to install and it is from Harbour Freight and it works perfectly. Mine is tan and camouflage. I also pull a 5' by 8' trailer with it too.
I take delivery of mine (Rancher 4x4 ES) in two more days. I plan on adding a rear bag/seat for fishing gear and my dog. Thanks for the ride-along. Hope you enjoy it!
Congrats 👏 I have a 04 rancher 350 electric shift 4x4, and I love it!! I would put a lil lift and rims and tires!!
It’s a beauty! Hard work pays off. You deserve it!
Congrats brother ! You deserve this 🔥
That thing is a beauty, you should put a slight lift on it as well a light bar
Hayes fab headlights and some 27in tires with the winch your good to go
Nice ride, just got my 2023 in June. I got the foot shift so I could afford a winch and also the stock tires are not reliable. I got 25’s Maxxis Bighorns. The Ranchers are awesome bikes. Congrats.
About time Peter😂 Love your vids bro keep up the good work🤘🏾
A WHEELER!!?? can't believe you bought 1!! You're gonna love it!! Congrats!!
Dude that’s awesome. I’m going to purchase my first fourwheeeler from the Motorsport store. Very excited. Thank you for the video because this is the exact one I’m going for I’m glad I got to learn the features and a close up look before I went in person.
We got a 2014 Honda rancher 420 electric shift there pretty nice I can only imagine the newer ones being even better.
I'm not a mud runner I ride in steep and very rocky terrain. The only reason I moved to a Rubicon is the rancher didn't have diff lock or independent suspension. I started on an 02 recon still have it runs great. Moved to the rancher in 2015 it's the king of crawling with its straight axle to me. But I love the ride of the Rubicon. Anyway you made a great choice by choosing a honda. Between all 3 of my machines they got over 30,000 miles with nothing but basic maintenance.
Just bought two of these. Love them. Didn’t get the electronic shift but my girl got the power steering.
Get some cloth rack storage boxes for it and make sure to put tools, broadheads, releases and stuff like that in em.
Hard work paying off🤙
Hey Peter.Instead of getting a trailer get a basket rack for the back.
Yeah they are alot cheaper and you can get pretty big ones
I made a ramp with some old posts drive the rancher on it an shut the tailgate. It's the cheapest an easiest way to get a quad in the back if a truck with a crew or quad cab.
Awesome man, I have a 2022 Rancher and with over 2k miles on it now and it’s been flawless!
You know I’ve always seen you on Braydon Price’s channel. A lot ! And I’m an atv guy and having a Honda myself your video caught my eye !! You make some good content on your channel I really like how you made this video it was simple yet effective nothing crazy or wild just straight forward!
brother keep it coming!!!!
I just bought a 2022 420 rancher with foot shift, its pretty fast for a utility quad and alot of fun to ride
that’s great man i’ve got a 2022 rancher and it’s pretty nice
I got older Honda basically the exact same as that and I got probably almost a 15ft trailer and I load wood and brush on it so you can haul a pretty big trailer with a load in it pretty well with one of those so a big trailer might be a little better just for the extra space for stuff
I have a 2017 rancher and I pull a trailer quite often due to the fact, if you put more than 200 pounds on the back rack, when you go over ruts and things sometimes the shock will bottom out because from the factory they are pretty soft. Hope this helps
Congratulations!👍🏻
Congratulations 🎉! I’m looking at a Honda Foreman myself ! For what you pay for these things you’d think the lights would at least be LED’s ? Geez 🙄
Buy a kolpin 2 inch reciever hitch easy to install it gives you lots of options. I had one on my 2008 rancher, worked great for 15 years
NICE,have a 2023 Rancher myself.
Congrats man it's real nice
Congrats...i buy all my units from there and yes Gee is the man..
Getting one by end of May. I can't wait!!!!!
Congrats ! Love Honda products.
Right on buddy that's a beautiful bike you did not go wrong by going with Honda The Best of the Best have you ever considered putting on a LED light bar I have one on mine totally awesome enjoy
Congrats🎉🎉
I would install a winch gun holders, hand guards and rather than buying a trailer right off i would try a drop basket first. And for tires i recomend kenda executioners they are a mud tire but not super agressive on the trails and feilds
You should get a winch and for tires get some sunf godzillas they are good tires for riding through the trails
Those 420 is a good bike. Got a 2016 or 2017 420 and u cant kill it.
Looks awsome.
Love the video
Cool tires and wheels!
What kind of rims and tires are u runnin? On your truck
heck yea peter hope you like it
Congrats
This is crazy seeing you where I go to all the time
Way cool!
I had 2 Green bikes and my 3rd I got the red , looks sharp
We need longer videos 💯
Take care of it oil change and oil filter and air filter change every year and run 91 octane no ethanal to help keep carb clean you can get it at pump station
No carb,fuel injected.
Congrats. I have a rancher and it can pull an 8 foot full sized trailer up to 20 or so
Itp mud lite at tires, warn winch, a soft cooler/ seat and a gun holder...
The only thing I would say that I would do would be new mud tires and rims and that would be it but super clean unit
You went with straight axle I see.
You should put a back rack on the stock rack
Top man
upgrade the hitch to and actual 2 inch receiver, and use a normal trailer ball... If you have boats, log splitters trailers ect its well worth it... Also the best ATV trailer hands down is the Ohio steel dump cart... Get the one that comes with the 2in hitch, and the lawn mower tires, its only 500 bucks or so and worth every damn penny...
A small trailer that hooks up to the back will save space on the forewheeler
I'm getting the green one yo!
Awesome congratulations. You might want to add a gun rack
2” lift
Rims/tires
Headlights
Light bar
Pewpew rack
I know it’s probably not a mud bike but I would say get a snorkel and tires a snorkel is always a good thing to have because you never know what will happen
You coming to my city yee yee
252 gang in the building
Brewer in Henderson?
You don't like Power Steering ?
I’ve got a 20 20 4 Honda rancher
Lifttttt
👍
Best winch to get is a WARN winch they are bulletproof those cheap winches don’t last.
Get some Honda boat head lights
wow, still uncharging on ATVs? They are no longer doing that around here!
just get u a trailer for the bike an us that for the land also
Put some mud lite tires on it there not that expensive and are good
Yep. I think I paid $56 for each of my rear tractor tread type tires for my 2008 rancher 4x4 on ebay.
Does petter always carry a gun
Lift and tires bro
Tiller in the back
Foot shift
Why did you have your gun in the for wheeler place
Probably because he feels like it.
that electric shift is gonna give ya fits if ya run through very much mud and water
Snorkel,tires,tune
Show braydon
Ya doing your own winch is way better you can get a lot for $1,100 besides one winch
Build it into a mud bike
Who’s ur gf
Just get a basket rack
First
Only way to go is foot shift. The 520 with differential lock is the way to go over the rancher too. Lol.
I would never buy a regular es but the auto is great no reliability problems for most riders but if you are constantly sinking it in mud and water then foot shift would probably be better.
Hold the brake on ranchers and older Hondas with no diff lock and it will lock it.
Man happy for you but you messed up with that electric shift
Get a Yamaha yz85.
Fr
Slow
Snorkel it now
Snorkel it!!!!
I have a Yamaha Kodiak 450 I use it for deer hunting hauling big loads of wood it has enough power for me I'm a little hit bigger of a person not that big I'm loosing weight my four wheeler is perfect it's a 2000 or 1999 it has its issues I take it through the mud to it does good in the mud
“Ya Definitely Should Get Ya Some 26inch Mud Lite XTRs For Your 4wheeler They Are Really Good Tires”
Electric shift always gives trouble I've always been on four-wheelers my whole life and I'm 36 now so a lot of years of riding u can never go wrong with a foot shift Honda they will last forever but electric shift is none for issues especially if u get in deep water
That’s weird, I have a 2002, rancher es 4x4 and a 2003 rancher es, have had no problems with the es, except for the occasional rocking to get it to shift into reverse, other then that, they have been solid machines.
Really cause my foot shift gave me problems brand new from the dealership
