You skipped over the most important parts before you even remove your old throttle body measure the voltage of your throttle position sensor its the bottom wire... write that down... the once you put it back together that spring needs to be wound and then throttle body needs hooked up and voltage checked again if its not the sam you must adj... and all of that was skipped over...
Im having issues with this and cant really fix it myself you got Instagram? Dm me at 3vrob.br my car page my car running bad bad
Save yourself some time, but not money, and buy the complete throttle body from Ford Racing. Its a simple swap that takes about 20 minutes. I bought the version made by Granatelli from AM. It was a great investment and a simple upgrade.
You guys should do a project sn95/new edge vs foxbody build like the coyote vs grabber boost
Custom Tune completed, Full Exhaust Long Tubes to 3" Magna Flow Competition, MSD Blaster Coil-On Plugs, HT1 Spark Plugs and 4.10 Gears, will this 62mm Throttle Body benefit me or is it a waste of money?
A nice cold air intake will do you a whole lot better for sure
My dude how did you get so lucky to not break those damn tps bolts. Mine had a whole tube of blue thread locker and broke the head, and second bolt just stripped from the head and couldn’t continue to take it out. Why FORD, WHY!?
Holy crud… you aren’t kidding! The only reason I am replacing a throttle body now is because those TPS screws got stuck on my old one. Nothing, not even drilling them out was able to remove them enough to replace the TPS, which is all I wanted to do in the first place. It’s absurd!
Lol going from twin 62’s to twin 65’s
Don't you need to compress the spring by turning the white seat counterclockwise while the cap cover is removed? Also, is there no voltage adjustment for this throttle body, or is the voltage adjusted with a tune?
1.Yes 2.you have to adjust the voltage by turning the throttle position sensor.
@@daredevil355 I know...wondering why it wasnt shown on the video.
Happy Holidays guys 😁
You as well! Thanks for watching and hope you have a Happy New Year! -Zach
No offense to American muscle.... I love y’all’s channels and parts! But how does it take 2hrs hrs to install this?? It takes me as least 10 mins.....
Cause they skipped the voltage part installing it is simple but troubleshooting with voltage is the issue
Didn't work so well on my GT, check engine light came on and 2500 rpm sitting at red light no foot on peddle.
Holy shit dude
Did u end fixing it
Funny thing is , I got mine installed and had the same problem , even took it back to my mechanic and it ended up doing it again , called a tuner and he said those bbk throttle body’s suck and you gotta buy like 2-3 to get one that works , etc
check throttle position sensor voltage and adjust it
@@HACKM9RG3V did that over and and over had my mechanic take it on plenty test drives and it would work fine but then fail eventually, bbk throttle bodies get these bad reps for a reason
how can i program a throttle body of a mustang gt 06
"Budget Friendly"
tutorial starts with the big hose already off… beginners like me dont know how to do that or what the name for that thing is so cant even search it up. it really wouldnt have taken long to walk us through that.
SR parts just look cheap.
For anyone else doing this install I'm just going to leave this link for you now you'll thank me later.

Don’t recommend this part have seen more issues than successes with it, it sucks
