- Ahh, this one was lots of fun, happy with the performance especially in the second half. First time really going nuts with all the sound destruction options in the DT2 as a performance thing, and man, the effects really do sound better. The bitrate and sample rate redux have a much better sound this time around I think, or maybe it's in combination with the master overdrive, but I'm fairly sure all the effects have been bumped up in quality.
This kit was a bit sparse at first but I found the sweet spot with it for me and ended up enjoying it a lot. Obviously that track that I destroy for awhile was the spotlight (I believe it's a bass synth sample in reverse). Coupled with a more sparse Perfourmer note presence with some random note probability for unexpected note appearances I think it worked.
Also the noise with the filter modulation on the Perfourmer is very fun!
All that said, I'm quite irritated because my interface again introduced random pops into the recording. I was too happy with the recording to do it again so they'll just live here, but I have removed it from the setup and will be recording with USB straight from the Digitakt again. I don't know if it was an issue with the unit itself (Arturia Minufuse 2) or maybe even the USB cable connecting it, but it randomly will also stop working entirely so it has just become not reliable!

In fallout 4 you can literally go to exactly where I live in real life (or where it would be if it wasn't the post-apocalypse.) and it's taken over by cannibal super mutants. Honestly an upgrade.
Too bad it has the weakest story of the bunch. I don't wanna look for my missing son! I wanna have fun goddammit!
This is awesome. I get a wondering the wasteland of Fallout feel from this. Slow methodical, scanning the environment for mines, traps, ambushes, radiated creatures, or worse... People... The pace is like a camera panning over decaying buildings and runs of society.
On a more musical now, i really like some of the lfo stuff going on creating this bubbly effect. Like radioactive waste... in the wasteland... Of fallout. I've been playing fallout new Vegas lately. It you hadn't figured it out by now.

@@hexwavemusic hah. I assumed it was just John RUclips trying to mess with the reply format out of boredom. He's probably seen every video on his platform, and all that's left now is to randomly delete or move comments, hide notifications from subscribers, and place ads in the middle of the song.
That last one is really a mind boggler. I know it's probably my fault for making 10 minute songs, but I shit you not, RUclips placed an automated ad right when the breakdown happened. Like... Did a person do that? Or is the a.i. detection algorithm really that advanced? Not like I have any say, part of the under 1000 ovah here 🤣, but the timing was just too uncanny.

If it's any consolation I have YT premium since I am on here way too much and also listen to music on RUclips music, so I forget what ads look like to be honest 🤷🤷
