This mission was tough to play. I grabbed the first Stg 44 I could find and held onto it after seeing its effectiveness from Road to Hill 30. Anyway, I give props for Sgt Collard. The man quickly took it upon himself to detonate the charges manually despite it being a one-way trip. But then again, here’s my thought about that scene. If the basement munitions was already explosive, why not just lug a bunch of grenades in one bag and go from there? No one would have to die or needlessly get hurt.
The cocking and fire animation of Enfield and Bren gun in this game is still my favourite so far.. You can almost feel the kick when it fire, and when you cock the Enfield, it feels satisfying, not too light like most other game..
Tbh while I understand it may be satisfying, I think its a little too slow. The Enfield in real life was actually well liked and often considered the best bolt action rifle of the war for its smooth bolt cocking motion. It was very easy to cock back and allowed a rate of fire higher than any other bolt action in the war.
My favorite part in 6:59 when the Lieutenant shouts *"There are still some 42's! Take them out!"* And my other favorite part on 9:12 is when the Lieutenant shouts to Leslie Baron saying *"Spit it out, Private. I'm on a clock here."* 😂😂😂😁😁😁

Remind me again if the Canadians were given M1garands or if there's something else going on, because why do I see the Canadian soldiers in the background walking with M1garands in their hands???🤔🤨
The only instances that I know about is the Devil's Brigade that was a Canadian/American unit that was mostly issued American weapons and equipment. Another instance was at Dieppe but it was only one British commando who was given the garand as a gift by US Rangers but this shows that it may be possible that certain individuals got their hands on them(by unofficial means)
Boys….the AI is painfully dumb. They barely shoot jack and they even get in your way, too. What a shame, I kinda love the graphic and the style. I will stick with Call of Duty 1 & 2 with MOD
Wish there'd be an apocalyptic future COD game were machines try to exterminate mankind and they try to stop them like the Terminator future wars and call it Call of Duty Dark Future.

i got my ps2 for this and i still play it, hell this game would be awesome with a modern remaster and port to pc now that would be the day.
If you have a decent PC, check out the RPCS3 emulator, the game is pretty playable/stable on it.
