    I am Japanese. I recommend this author's videos to all beginner Japanese learners.
    Once you memorize hiragana and katakana, you will be able to read manga and pronounce them aloud.
    You can look up words you don't understand in a dictionary.
    Write the lines from the manga in your notebook and say them while watching the anime.
    My recommended manga is"Frieren: Beyond Journey's End".
    I think you will understand more and more words.

      @@AbdullahAmjad11690 Japanese has 50 basic sounds. This is more than the alphabet.
      But it is made up of a combination of 5 vowels[あ(a),い(i),う(u),え(e),お(o)] and 9 consonants[か(ka),さ(sa),た(ta),な(na),は(ha),ま(ma),や(ya),ら(ra),わ(wa)].
      Memorizing 14 sounds is the shortcut to 50 sounds. Go for it.

Learning English took me 4 or 5 years without wanting it, actually I’m still not the best in English. I know that Japanese is hard cause Japanese has its own completely different language than English or Polish and, alphabet. I’ll come back here. Give me 5 years.

    Hi! I'm trying to learn Japanese- I am struggling with ra, ri, ru, re, ro pronunciation. Does the R come off as more of an english "L" or more of an "L+R" sound?

    • @ShokoEasyJapanese
      @ShokoEasyJapanese  Год назад +3

      Hi! Thanks for your comment. I know many Japanese learners are struggling with らりるれろ(ra ri ru re ro). They are different from both of L and R. But in some cases, it sounds like “T” sound. For example, “water” “What a ~” (American accent) These “T” sounds are slightly different from the normal T pronunciation, aren’t they? I think らりるれろ have similar pronunciation. But you know they are not exactly the same though. Could this help you? If you have some more questions, please feel free to ask me:)

       @ShokoEasyJapanese
      The Japanese word "ra ri ru re ro'' is a light tonguing sound.
      I think there are some minor differences, but I think it's okay to convert R to L.

      Thank you for leaving a comment! Sorry that I’m late to reply.
      We have 2 ways, from top to down, and from left to right just same as English when we write or read. Hiragana chart is read from top to bottom such as “aiueo”.

    Is it more common in Japan to read and write from the upper right? I'm also just beginning and came accross this very helpful video.

      There are two ways to read Japanese: vertically and horizontally like English. When reading vertically, we start reading from the top right as you noticed.

    one doubt can we learn japaneese and speak without learning hiragana ,katakana and kanji?

    • @ShokoEasyJapanese
      @ShokoEasyJapanese  7 месяцев назад +1

      It depends on what you want to do with Japanese, but you can learn more deeply by studying the characters. The question is easier to understand if you think about whether you can learn English without studying the alphabet. Although it is possible to learn a language without being able to read, it can be inconvenient, and if you want to learn deeply, reading is essential. Kanji are particularly difficult, so I recommend studying hiragana and katakana first. You don't have to rush to learn kanji, so start learning anytime you have time.
