    Hey, my first time watching and i love this vlog. Im a phlebotomist as well, well i started about a dew months ago. I line being a phlebotomist and i work in a hospital. I have to get the hang of how to do the LabCorp paperworks and putting that in the computer. I was saying, i think I'll like being a phlebotomist better in a clinic or doctor office rather then hospital. I would loce to see a video on that.

    hey I love this video and thanks for the information. it kinda gives me an idea of what to expect on the job. I'm the same way about not liking the expected at work and I'm 22. I'm half way through my phlebotomy class and were supposed to take the NHA exam. I've been studying what my school has taught me and reading my books but I have no clue whats gonna be on the test and or what the job will look like. I will start clinicals soon. when I get certified I want to work in a clinic, doctors office specifically obgyn or pediatric or a plasma center. I dont want to work in a hospital or nursing home . I'd also like to travel with it in the next few years!

    hi, im interested in becoming a phlebotomist after i graduate high school, i heard most places , want people with experience so how would i go about that after receiving my certification?, thank you so much for this video very excited

    • @floflow09
      @floflow09  5 месяцев назад

      That is great to hear. Plasma/Donor centers are always hiring for entry level phlebotomists. That can be a start. There are some jobs that hire phlebotomists with no experience as well, including some hospitals. You can also get your foot in the door by applying for jobs like a patient care technician or something else and that can also help with getting a job because you'll already be working for that certain clinic or hospital and most jobs hire from within. Just keep applying and do not give up. There are many hospitals, laboratories and clinics needing a phlebotomist. YOU GOT THIS!! I BELIEVE IN YOU

    Hi just found your page b/c I’m considering starting phlebotomy school particularly for job security. I’ve been an entrepreneur for the last decade but need more secure and that won’t take too much time to receive certification. Do you or anyone have any advice for those considering getting into this field ?

    • @floflow09
      @floflow09  4 месяца назад

      I would say do it. The training is not long. You get to know that you are a part of someone’s care. It gets your foot in the door in the medical field. You get to work with all types of medical professionals. You’re going to live what you do. You will do great. 😊

    Can you please explain to me, what the difference is between a phlebotomist technician and a Phlebotomist?.... I've been having trouble understanding the difference and also how long do you need to go to school for both of them?😅

    • @floflow09
      @floflow09  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hello. I've heard of both titles before. In certain states, they refer to both of them as separate job titles, and in certain states the title name means the same thing which is still a phlebotomist. In states that differentiate the two, the phlebotomist would be over the technicians. Kind of like a supervisor. The training is normally the same for both. Probably the phlebotomist would have more experience and licensure than the phlebotomy tech. Just depending on where you're working, then you can see what both titles are like. We honestly do the same things and procedures. Schooling should be the same in most cases depending on which certification you're going for. I hope that helps.
