Are the mag pouches not doubled? I think being within $100 of a spiritus 34A split rig and carrying that light of a load with permanent pouches just isn't what I'm looking for. I am still on the fence though as there is room for two double mag pouches on either side. (For reference I will not be wearing armour) My current setup includes a Vertx Overlanding pack with double bladders(cus its hot here). So ik I'm going to be a bit heavier, but I also don't plan to be in full patrol rattle until I have to abandon my means of mobility and covertness. Starting my own channel soon. Best of luck. Cheers!
I hear ya!, that's what i like most about the set. You can tailor it for almost anything. a side note if you're NOT running plates it's because you're 100% intending NOT to make contact. and a good sneak and peek is always good. but in that case having 8-10 mags is a waste of time anyways. I'm either going with plates and 3-7 mags or going full patrol. Plated and the LBE with a total of 12-15 mags.
@allinsurvival7542 in 2009 ISR captured the video of 10th mountain getting plowed after they ran out of ammo and their plates didn't save them add the nods and they step onto the field 1st world butter soft but thinking they're bullet proof. They couldn't compete with the volume of fire of simple rifle fire. Utilizing range and volume of fire, a small unit should value mobility over stopping hits they shouldn't have taken in the first place. The probability of surviving a hemorrhage in the Bush is abysmal, and I don't have the ability to call a nineline, so kudos on being a billionaire or having on demand access to DOD resources. I'm new to RUclips only. Perhaps my penny pinching and younger looking face says otherwise. I bought two of the spiritus rigs in the meantime. If they don't get in your way, more power to you, but both in training and in "practice" the ability to open your front and put fighting kit outside of whatever I'm wearing and sacrificing access to nothing is essential. Both under extreme heat and extreme cold the compression makes it hard to maintain body temperature on the move or in high stress situations and coming down off of excitement by being cold from sweat is an immune system hell. Basically, the next dirty thing you ingest or contaminates your bloodstream will decrease your focus and abuse your resources unnecessarily. I appreciate your input.
71/2“ x 8 1/2“. I put a link to it in my description it takes you directly to the direct action page. Not everybody’s the same but I appreciate having the exact front of my gear open. thanks for the comment.
Excellent presentation! Really enjoyed this rig set-up.
Thanks so much! Coming up on 2 years and still feel like there is so much to improve on. little better every Vido !!!
Good video. Good way to load up or down. Good debrief on ability and advancement in kit regarding combat mindset.
