she's good individually developed (mean grown up) and that combined with a good portion of confidence and talent i think makes a lot of what she became. Same would be for anyone to become more individual and good at something.

I cringe at the interviewers, they just suck at interviewing her. She’s such a good sport for just being herself and laughing through it because they trip over themselves around her, at least prepare to talk about your guest in a more meaningful way and know more information about their work. some men literally are like that 😐 I feel he is fake nice, she’s very sweet throughout it all, but the questions he asks her to answer about her hometown. he’s in some way trying to offend the place she lives? the joke she said was probably her way of offending his demeanor . she plays along cause it’s tv but when she was about to leave, he’s like “stay around, I’ve got an olympic winner” and you can see her true mood that she was composing come out.
