I think my favorite thing about the ending is that it being just a movie production the noise was making implies two options: - The Doise is a stuntman double that the noise just went a little too hard into - The entire production was just an excuse for the Noise to kill the Doise without suffering any repercussions from the law.
Originally, The Noise Radical Anthem was going to be for an alternative ending for The Noise Boss Fight; where he'd steal the key back from you at the end of the fight. The Noise would've escaped to John Gutter, changing the entire level permanently to Noise Gutter.
In fact, in the earliest known build before Pizza Tower's official release, after beating the Noise boss, he will jump out and nab the key. Of course, as you can tell from the final build, nothing actually became of this, even in the prerelease build

The Noise was such a welcome surprise for me. Even with beating the game as Peppino I never felt totally comfortable with him. He always felt just a little off to me when I was playing as him. I never felt that with the Noise. I can’t even begin to explain the rush of adrenaline I felt when I learned how to fly as the Noise, and I actually P ranked the entirety of floor 1 for the first time. What an insanely good expansion EDIT: Finally, someone who appreciates World Wide Noise. That fucking breakdown at the halfway mark is probably my favorite 20 seconds of music this year.

The Noise Update is a solid contender for one of the best updates I've seen in a video game. Going above and beyond adding a new character, the update makes sure to have the entire game REVOLVE around the Noise, from controls, to gameplay mechanics, to even the title cards and music. Even the new styles I'm not a fan of like the Minigun still at least add to the feeling of the Noise's chaos, and it makes the experience of playing Pizza Tower again all the more special. Also, Swap Mode is also a brilliant way to allow both Peppino and Noise's gameplay styles to blend together in order to allow you to play the best of both worlds, but also to reuse a screen that was previously unused before the update. Bravo Tour De Pizza, Bravo.

pro tip for crust cove! you dont have to roll with the barrel over the section with the power outlets other than at the very end to clear the rats out of the way. it makes p ranking infinitely easier

Playing this video on my headphones during the extraction helped me keep my composure, focus on something else and make it through without panicking. my favorite part of the update (and one that i wish was mentioned in this video) was the swap mode. being able to switch between most of the changes between noise and peppino at literally any time is just so much fun.
Well hell, this inspired me to pick back up my Noise playthrough, and yeah, controlling this guy is awesome. I especially love how half his moveset lets him skip straight to Mach 3.
Gonna edit and write some notes as I watch the video. -Wall Bounces Wall bounces are nice, because they don't jusg keep your momentum, they ALWAYS put you in Mach 3. So you can jump off a metal box, land in the same spot, and immediately get a burst of speed to break the metal box. So that's nice. -Knight powerup. In plenty of places, Noise bouncing off walls is actually a boon. Like sure, in those secrets, bouncing off walls for a bit can be annoying, but not as annoying as Peppino having to go ALL the way back to get the powerup. Also, for the moment after the Pizza time, it's actually very easy. You can just do a slam to stop all momentum, and proceed as normal.
I didn't realize this video existed for like a week, despite getting it reccomended constantly. You have my favorite looking thumbnails. But they somehow blend jnto the background.
Bumble having nothing to say about fast food saloon makes me think he doesn't know about his gimmick in that stage; Much like golf, he can't lose. If he's beaten by horsy, he just runs his ass over and it uncages the topin. This seems more violent since it's a deliberate kill instead of just colateral... Though to be faire i can easily picture the noise's game plan for a charity foot-race being to map an itinerary that maximises propriety dammage.
I just thought of a 3rd idea for the grindrail, but I feel like it would require a transformation. Both the grindrail AND the pole can be traversed as you zip quickly to the corners as a spark. It would only require a few edits to make it work, I think.
Mowing down enemies with the Gatling gun is satisfying as hell what are you talking about? The thing literally clears the whole screen especially if you fire when falling. It's the perfect equivalent of Noise doing whatever the fuck he wants in terms of a gun
ok i do have a few ideas of characters to be added since bosses were meant to be playable P-man his moveset will be kinda like peppino except you can climb walls by wall jumping like noise his gun would be a painball gun and also pepperman could be able to turn while keeping his mach 4 vigil-as was the idea he can only speed up to mach 2 but can throw dynamite to kill enemies and destroy metal blocks and also has a gun F.peppino-same moveset as peppino but you can hold up and grab to throw your head and you can also hold up to run on the ceiling
the crust cove p rank is probably the best of the first 3 worlds. Its fun and hard. the barrel, while initially hard to control, is a strict upgrade once you actually have experience most barrel segments can be skipped on lap two, and some let you ditch the barrel for a solid 5 seconds where it would normally take about 9 (the room with the goblin captain and the barrel). you do have to get hit which can kill a p rank if your not prepared, but after killed in the first rat the noise can flow smoothly. The first room in lap two has two ways of ditching the barrel 1. getting hit by the cannon goblin 2. Fly over the water by using the crusher jump spin combo
ITS HERE WOOO! You perfectly described why I don't like playing as Noise. He's more slippery and uncontrollable. If he was the character I had started with I would have liked him more, but because I started with Pepino, I just can't bring myself to like him.

27:08 the reason oregano ufo plays for such a short time is because the ufo section was originally longer, with actual level design that wasn’t just running and jumping over cows, but at some point in 2022 mcpig scrapped the original level and made a completely new version. in the process the ufo section was shortened to a single boring room for some reason.
Fun fact: the Noise’s can wall jump while riding up a wall in the barrel transformation.
pro tip for crust cove! you dont have to roll with the barrel over the section with the power outlets other than at the very end to clear the rats out of the way. it makes p ranking infinitely easier
1:07:57 a note for fake peppino's run along the walls and ceiling attack. if you throw a bomb as he runs up a wall into it that counts as one of the 2 damages so you can just skip that attack completely

Today I had a tooth pulled, the prospect of which terrified me for months. Playing this video on my headphones during the extraction helped me keep my composure, focus on something else and make it through without panicking.

my favorite part of the update (and one that i wish was mentioned in this video) was the swap mode. being able to switch between most of the changes between noise and peppino at literally any time is just so much fun.
Well hell, this inspired me to pick back up my Noise playthrough, and yeah, controlling this guy is awesome. I especially love how half his moveset lets him skip straight to Mach 3.
One thing to note is that The Noise can actually kill the Wooden Horse whether he wins or loses the race. Peppino couldn't do that.
Gonna edit and write some notes as I watch the video.
-Wall Bounces
Wall bounces are nice, because they don't jusg keep your momentum, they ALWAYS put you in Mach 3.
So you can jump off a metal box, land in the same spot, and immediately get a burst of speed to break the metal box. So that's nice.
-Knight powerup.
In plenty of places, Noise bouncing off walls is actually a boon. Like sure, in those secrets, bouncing off walls for a bit can be annoying, but not as annoying as Peppino having to go ALL the way back to get the powerup.
Also, for the moment after the Pizza time, it's actually very easy. You can just do a slam to stop all momentum, and proceed as normal.

I just thought of a 3rd idea for the grindrail, but I feel like it would require a transformation.
Both the grindrail AND the pole can be traversed as you zip quickly to the corners as a spark. It would only require a few edits to make it work, I think.
Mowing down enemies with the Gatling gun is satisfying as hell what are you talking about? The thing literally clears the whole screen especially if you fire when falling. It's the perfect equivalent of Noise doing whatever the fuck he wants in terms of a gun

P-man his moveset will be kinda like peppino except you can climb walls by wall jumping like noise
his gun would be a painball gun and also pepperman could be able to turn while keeping his mach 4
vigil-as was the idea he can only speed up to mach 2 but can throw dynamite to kill enemies and destroy metal blocks and also has a gun
F.peppino-same moveset as peppino but you can hold up and grab to throw your head and you can also hold up to run on the ceiling

the crust cove p rank is probably the best of the first 3 worlds. Its fun and hard.
the barrel, while initially hard to control, is a strict upgrade once you actually have experience
most barrel segments can be skipped on lap two, and some let you ditch the barrel for a solid 5 seconds where it would normally take about 9 (the room with the goblin captain and the barrel). you do have to get hit which can kill a p rank if your not prepared, but after killed in the first rat the noise can flow smoothly. The first room in lap two has two ways of ditching the barrel
1. getting hit by the cannon goblin
2. Fly over the water by using the crusher jump spin combo
So in case you couldn't tell, the Doise was killed by Peditto. The eyeless image that you can see in the Doom mod carries him off after his fight.
