Took 14" to apple for broken keyboard, looking at this video I assume they just took off the screen, motherboard, and bottom shell, and put them on an entire new enclosure. Definitely not complaining, got a new battery for free.

I have the 2021 16 inch Macbook pro but one of the rubber key cups under my up arrow key is torn. I have searched everywhere and been unable to find any information about the repair of this or if it is even possible at all. I found your channel and was hoping that you would be able to provide me some insight as even Apple has not been ablke to give me an answer. Is it possible to replace the rubber cups itself? Also is this something that takes a lot of skill or would I need an entire keyboard replacement?
@@ItsBinhRepaired Thank you, I don’t know why but there is nothing about this anywhere or with any tutorials. I have been trying to figure out if it’s possible. Apple support won’t give you an answer on the phone and I would have to go in person. I know they are super picky on what they will replace without having a whole new keyboard needed. I am hoping this isn’t one of those fixes

i had the same problem and the microphone is not working, should i replace all top case or just microphone component?
Just the microphone, though it could be a logicboard issue.

Usually can scrape it off and use a very tiny amount of super glue to stick a new one on.

It's part of the keyboard. Not replaceable. You need to try to bend it back.
