e38 - 740i - Remus rear mufflers (Soundcheck)

Yes, its louder when its cold, there is actually a difference. Maybe the original catalytic converters (or one of them) is on its way out, its pretty possible at this age.
Once all is at working temperature, it gives a spot on sound to this kind of car. It isnt too loud, but it brings out the charasteristics of the V8, and in my opinion it hits pretty much the sweet spot between silent factory exhaust system, and the abnoxiously loud "straight pipe". I can recommend these any day of the week. Rpm range between idle and 2-2500 rmp, when warm idle-4000rpm (no, not 6000-6500, it would certainly piss someone off 😄)
