BMW e38 740i - First start in months

As the title say, the 7-series is in hibernation, sleeping in the garage, but sometimes it just needs to be started, and let running a bit

I need to do the same, I own a 2000 -750IL V 12, I had left several lights on inside and etc, been sitting 6 months, batteries are new, need charge

Whats that ticking noise from the engine? The exhaust is a nogo.

Probably a bit of blowby by a gasket. The exhaust is just fiiine

Exhaust and taillights need to be changed back to OEM imo.

I agree with the rear lights, but the exhaust is prefect now, its just a bit more grunty than the original, it sounds just as it should, allthough i could move the exhaust more up towards/into the rear bumper, but i would hate to cut the bumper, so this is the best solution after the OEM
