You should never let you battery get to 1% , it makes it hard on the battery to charge back up and shortens the battery life, i alway charge my device when i see it around 47% up to 99% and my last 2 devices have both lasted me 5 years
@JK-cn5fy I understand, $25. Not a big deal, but having to wait , to get a new battery can be a problem for some people, also in emergency situations its always best to have a healthy battery
Mine was at 0 percent but it was also charging but then i watched something for an hour and it was still at 0. Its dead forever, but never dies. The gift that keeps on giving.
Yeah if old my phone died I could switch it back on after a while and get about 1more present but the charging port broke on that one so I soon ran out
One time, my phone was 5% and it lasted for like more than a hour. I eventually got scared, and charged my phone hoping that batteries still work. They still work.
they do that for the same reason. if your battery has significant damage due to extended use, it will start turning off way before it even reaches the lower percentage levels in an attempt to preserve the battery longer. Batteries at full capacity also get damaged. On some newer phones there's an option that only allows your phone to charge to 85%. The top and bottom 15% of the battery's capacity are stress zones for the battery, so if you keep your battery's percentage between 15 and 85 it shouldn't lose as much capacity over time.
Actually, it’s because checking true percentage of battery is very difficult. Batteries die by slowly losing the amount of voltage it can give, so the phone checks the voltage output, and approximates the percentage based on the voltage output of the battery. While it is true they do turn off before it’s completely drained, that has nothing to do with why it lags at 1%
whenever my old phone gets low battery, i take off the battery and put it back and it randomly gives me a random phone percentage it literally went from 11% to 96%
My phone was on 1%, with that I had to do a 14 hr journey, I put the phone on super power saving mode. I was shocked to see it recieving call after staying 14hrs at 1% and didn't died.
Battery percentage is calculated based on the output voltage. For instance, lipo batt has 4.2v when fully charged and 3.6v when fully drained, giving 0.6v of difference. The voltage decreasing rate however is not constant. They decreasing faster at full volt and slowing when nearing the end. This is the reason why ur percentage decrese faster from 100 to 90 than from 10 to 0
My dad old phone has some weird glitch where if you charge the phone for a few second (the phone was at 17%) then restart the phone, the battery percentage will become 97% somehow
it's not a glitch, Over time, batteries lose capacity. If your phone is older, the battery may not hold charge well, leading to faster drops in percentage.
Fun fact: if your battery dies before 1% it might be because battery has an insufficient percentage to guarantee OS or some of its functionalities to run correctly so it turns off (my iPhone dies at 3% cause it has to be still findable while off)
I thought that it was supposed to drain slower in case of an emergency, where you’d have to call 911 or smth like that and your phone wouldnt shut off in the middle of it
This usually happens with older phones and it's because the system automatically shuts down when the battery gets to a certain point but it shuts off early because the indicator was incorrect. This glitch usually happens in the last 5-10% but can die it 50 or even 60% battery.
Guys, let me tell you something creepy about my phone When my battery is off and when I'm oning my phone while my phone is decharged, my phone is on, but when I check my battery, it's zero and when I off my phone it is decharged
Oh yeah that actually is true! With my Old Kindle Fire I waited a bit just in time putting the charger in for it to reach 0 Percent Battery but because it was on charger it didn’t turn off. Now I know why!

They should make phones gives us an option after the phone turns off due to low battery percentage, when turning it on it should make us be able to make emergency calls on a very energy efficient mode because the health of the battery is less important than making a call
Gentlemen, grab your wallets! It’s time to put our plan into action! Implementing this costs f__ktons of cash, especially since while this energy saving mode for emergency calls(SPECIFICALLY 911 in the US or the emergency number for your residence if you live outside the US) will only allow a certain amount of time depending on it the phone battery can safely deliver the power required to do this. Once there isn’t enough charge, a message describing this is sent to the emergency number being called and the phone turns off fully. It can go like this, when the phone is in true energy saving mode(when it displays the depleted battery icon when it’s powered on), on the bottom there could be some text along the lines of “Press both volume buttons five times to make an SOS call.” If no action is done, phone turns off. If action is done, phone’s call function works as expected, except brightness is dimmed enough to where not much power is needed, the UI is a black background with the phone number pad only using numbers without the circles surrounding them(tap boxes work as expected), if there is an answer, call goes as is. If there is no answer, phone turns off right before voicemail mode starts.
Plus it also could be because the electric in the back of the battery from the connector is heading towards the front causing it to possibly last longer, batteries don't drain equally they start pulling the energy out from the front work it's way to the back, which is why if you connect let's say 6 12v batteries parallel and start draining them till they say their dead, get a battery voltage tester and you'll find out that the battery in front maybe around 10.5v but the one in the back would be around 11-12v

I am watching this video with 1% battery remaining. Haha
Me watching this at 2% 💀💀
So that we have enough time to find our charger and charge our phone at 1%...
Precisely
My charger: drains my power for some reason
My battery life: still on for 10 seconds with 0%
if it's plugged in and the battery is still draining it means your are using more power than the cord can replenish
ooh because yesterday i was wondering why my phone was at 1% for 2 hours, lmao
1% is the true king of all battery percentages
" 1% battery lasts so long"
**My phone dying at 3%**
once my phone actually died at 11% 😂
Mine used to die at 50 😂
@@tae-hope9638 Same, it was enough to get through the school day but as soon it reached around 50-55% it died
My old phone would go on for an hour at 2-1%. My new phone dies in 3 minutes once it has reached 5%.
Next thing you know: displays 100%
Reality: 120%💀
Omg 😳
Watching the video in 1% battery remaining😂😂😂
