was checking in to see what's been going on with this game since the last speedrun I watched in...2017? Maybe? It was the RPG Limit Break feature from around then. I see that a LOT has been done with discovering movements glitches and such since then, way cool! congrats on the run!
Wow, I can't quite wrap my brain around all the tricks you used, and I can't find any explanation of them. The big ones I saw were 1) opening and closing the combat menu to get extra movement, 2) suspending and reloading to RNG manipulate a double attack every time, and 3) egressing from the hidden battle to warp to northern Paramecia. Is there somewhat to find more info about these exploits?
Number 3 doesn't work that way. I had just saved there 1 hour before by going out of bounds in the cave battle and since it was the last save I did in a town, Egress returned me to that spot. As for number 1, Degree Z, Cloud Carry and NoWorries tskisoccer all have a few videos on that (some with explanations or button press mapping) but there isn't one vid that covers everything as a tutorial. For number 2 there is a video by Cloud Carry called: double attack manipulation guide SF2 that covers some aspects of the RNG manipulation. If you are still interested to learn more about them, let me know and I will try to explain them to you directly on discord cause it's hard to do so on the comment section here

Suspending the game to manipulate RNG is so lame. As is exploiting out of bounds bugs.
