    My boyfriend and I take turns saying how glad we met (dog park), how lucky we talked for months and became friends until 6 months later and I leaned in for a kiss, how calm and easygoing we both are together. I’ve never felt so comfortable around a human being like I feel with him. Now we both have been single for years and we both just thought we would be alone; and we were each fine with that. I think just knowing we choose each other really puts this relationship in another galaxy compared to what I’ve had.

    I think you are the most authentic coaçh for life I have ever seen and i have seen and read a lot. I am damaged with BPD, CPTSD, DEPRESSION ANXIETY ETC.Those i am getting help with. But i am an authentic, kind, honest, respectful 59 yr old woman. I have been in recovery for 30 yrs. I work the 12 steps, i am cognitive, i am in love with love ie giving loving acts to Spiders, insects, wildlife, etc. i would love to be in a relaxed and trusting relationship with a man where we can both contribute to one another. But right now i am living below the poverty line. I had a stroke a month ago because of stress. My responsibility. I don't want anything for free from you except a first direction step. A book, a practice, etc. i am prideful but i have enough humility to hear what i need to do.. if not no worries as i dont want to devalue your work. Thank you for being real ❤

    I just returned from 47 days at my BF’s cabin … I’m missing him & EXTREMELY grateful for the time we had together. We met 16 mos ago & have spent 275 days together … our $ are similar but we have FUN doing almost anything together & our chemistry is awesome 😎
    It’s NOT perfect by any means but I feel this distance gives us the chance to reflect & APPRECIATE each other.
    But I do miss him especially when I wake up in the middle of the night & he’s not next to me. :/

    Character is not number one in relationship. Nor is friendship. Feeling is. It's mysterious, instantaneous, & palpable & you can't calculate it in Excel. It's there or it's not. Everything else is failure & fitting square pegs in round holes. It will never be the dream.... All else is mediocre at best & is what most relationships are primarily. I agree w Stephan speaks on this. Most will never experience it.

    Friendly suggestion 🙏 check out the book "Sex at Dawn" it will help you when you reference "pre historic" people ... Also you probably have discovered this via plant medicine 🌵🌸 but "modern" people are not really more advanced. There is plenty of evidence that the "cave man" story is actually more of a Flintstones cartoon. And that humans have an unbelievably complex and often times highly conscious past 🙌 In fact, we might be dumber now than we've ever been 😅

    What I don't understand is psychologists say to communicate and express your feelings and everything but then like you get all the opposite like on social media and Facebook and when you actually talk to people it's like the complete opposite. You know that you're supposed to wait for the man and he's supposed to you know you're 4 hours back you're supposed to text him or wait for a response and you're supposed to do everything the way he wants you to and you know people say you know since the 60s females have rights females matter but it's almost the same thing only twisted or worse it almost seems like women just don't matter nowadays and according to the culture in psychology and you know the decades in the 60s and 70s and the previous ones from then on. Movement and everything else I just don't see how anything has changed I think well women still get treated like property and worse than dirt and still don't have opinions about that matter according to other people and everything else they get probably treated just as bad or worse than they did in the 60s and 70sand honestly I think they have probably gotten better treated better than 1950s even up to the 1800s then they do now

      How so?

    • @mariad1151
      @mariad1151 Месяц назад

      @@JonathonAslay How is it manipulative? It's an appeal to a falsehood to justify an argument or position that has no provable evidence in the present or past. Back in the day, we used to say "out of sight, out of mind."
      It's the same as when folks say that specific chemicals cause certain behaviors. It's nearly impossible to prove objectively. However, to say it creates a cultural reification--a cultural dictate or norm. Attachment after copulation is supposed to bond a woman to a man. If it doesn't, she's labeled & seen as a tart. It becomes a self-imposed behavior. The woman unconsciously self-judges as the cultural norms dictates.

      ❤ luv it. What about the opposite? What if women could pick, pursue, & propose to her heart's desire? Think of how powerful that is vs choosing from only those who have chosen you. Free rein. Women still don't have it, & it must be why women initiate divorce more often & orgasm at a rate of 25%. They're not with the one they love, instead they're loving the one they're with. ..& it makes all the difference. Let's hope it changes for the young ones 🤞
