Hey Blake -- I just got delivery of the YC-88 and while I love, it would be great if there were a step-by-step video tutorial (I HATE reading manuals) that can explain each functionality as you go and how each "bank" (i.e., the piano sounds, the organ sounds, synth etc.) pertains to the correlating knob, switch and buttons. If you know of a video link, feel free to post it. What would also be REALLY great (hint hint ;-) is to get the Yamaha sound engineers to create a Marimba/Vibrato patch like the vintage YC45-D in the next upgrade!
Blake - this keyboard is awesome. I am a big fan of Yamaha products and own a CP300, CP4 and the new CP88. I also own the 61 key "red keyboard" and will seriously consider replacing it with the Yamaha YC61. I hope that some of the great guitar sounds , synth sounds, horns, etc. will make their way into the CP88 in a future OS update. They are lacking on that keyboard. Thank you!
Bob Nasella agreed. I love my CP88, but find all of the non-piano sounds lacking. I wish in an update it gave CP88 better organs and non-piano sounds as heard here
Would you PLEASE play the clav sounds (hopefully there is more than 2) WITHOUT ANY WAH OR OTHER EFFECTS so one could hear what they actually sound like first?? Then you can show them modified by the wonderful VCM circuitry. Thank You.
Do not get this. I Just got the Yamaha YC 61. It will not get recognized by my laptop for midi control and I cannot update the firmware to the katest version due to a technical flaw within the keyboard. I would have to buy several different USBs just to see if it works. I sent mine back ill just save up for a Nord

@Spud Chuffington jones Never enough!
Hi Blake, where are the organ sounds. You said later, but it never came.
