I had a comp his weekend but it was cancelled cuz of corona virus😢
Oh no :(. They are starting up again I just went to one
I went to one 2 weeks ago ( 3/5/21 ) and one this weekend ( 3/26/21) so yah they are fun I love showstoppers it’s the best one I just want to that 2 weeks ago, I just went to headliners this weekend it was ok but it was a block and the older girls were all throwing up and the dressing room was so small it was the size of my bedroom ( and their are 37 dancers ) but my team took over the junior category at both competitions we won first for hip-hop second for tap third for jazz and fifth fifth fourth lyrical at showstoppers. We won first for tap second for jazz and then fourth for hip-hop and then lyrical didn’t place. For my solo I won ninth tied with my friend and showstoppers. I think I won fifth for my solo and headliners. And for my trio we won third at showstoppers. And for my trio we won second. So yah they were great

I had a comp last weekend and it wasn’t cancelled finally, but I couldn’t go because I found out I had COVID the day before. All of my friends got to compete and they all did so well, but I couldn’t go.
Oh my gosh is that the Scottish rite my team competes there sometimes 😂
I am pretty sure I competed their last month! It was pretty nice except for the kinda crammed dressing room our team was in

I love starquest! I did a comp there my first year on team. It's pretty fun. I also think I competed where your at last month! And I'm happy that comps are back this year! Some first year girls only got to go to 1 or 2 comps before the rona happened.

I have always kind of wished I could be a comp dancer, but I don’t have the strength, flexibility, or guts to try out for my studios team, so I kind of just like to live through you and your vlogs if that makes any sense at all, so thanks for that I guess.
P.S. don’t try to tell me, “omg, no, I’m sure you’re an amazing dancer just the way you are!” because I just don’t have what it takes to be a comp dancer at my studio at least
P.P.S don’t get me wrong I do dance, I’m just not competitive.
I felt that way too, and this is not me telling you to try out but when I did,I made it to the competitive team and was so worried I would fail. I am going to my first comp soon so I am excited

Hello! I loved the video! I have a question: How long is a dance competition?
I'm a competitive dancer.. it honestly depends on how many dances you are doing. It can start around 8 am and then go until the evening. Sometimes competitions will be spread over 3 days. There really isn't one answer to that question. Hope that helped 🙃
