This is amazing. No one would ever know this started as a cardboard box. It’s making me wonder where I can find a box large enough to make a coffee table. Love that you used the pillow from your last video when staging. 👍🏻👍🏻🧡
I make stuff with cardboard all the time. These included. A couple tips. 1). Fill an old Mustard bottle with your white glue and squeeze a stream out of it. Or get the squeeze condiment bottles from Dollar Tree. Just make sure whatever you use it has a fairly small tip. When you are covering a large surface with glue, use a slice of cardboard to coat. 2). Foam brushes in various widths are the only way to go when spreading the glue. 3). You can buy a gallon of Elmer's white glue at Walmart for $11., even cheaper for the generic brands. Much cheaper than dollar tree little bottles. 4). Look in your closet for an old blouse to ling it with or hit up your local thrift store. I'm so so so happy Karem made this video. Cardboard box chests are so much fun to make and although you need to take a couple more steps to add stability - they sell like crazy & fetch a sweet price! Love this video!
Thank you Zoe for the tips. I just finished a bunch of trunk DIYs so you might see my sloppy ways of getting it done. 🤣. I not a very patient person so I use stuff that I have around me at the time. 😬😆. Love the tips. 🥰❤️❤️❤️
I am creating another channel (event party DIYs) that I am going to do with my family. I might be in camera there. (Not alone like in this channel) 🤣. 🥰❤️
Okay I said it before that in your sleep the craft fairies whisper to you what to do but today's you are absolute on the genius level! I'm so going to try this I know it won't work out is good but thank you for the inspiration blessings and much love
What a treat to watch your creativity flow! I’m once again entranced from start to finish. The chest has a worn white leather look. Exquisite! Thanks much for sharing your great talent. xo
Thank you! I needed to know how to put the hinges and the latch on cardboard box. I appreciate your sharing the knowledge at around 9:17 ... You have been exceedingly helpful! Everybody else wants to do a fabric hinge or paper hinge...you have shown me what I needed. Thank u abundantly!
I've been working on a larger trunk and was wondering how I was going to apply the hardware, I'm happy I watch you make this trunk, it's really nice, I love it and everything else.
Your craft is amazing. I'm going to try the braided trunk and now I want to do this one too. Where did you learn to do this?I love the soothing classical music. I. In love with yourboxes.
Phenomenal! Right up my ally! So excited 'cause I've got most of the stuff and had been looking for something for my bedroom re-do...thanks for the inspiration and tutorial. This is way better than anything I have seen.
@@tati001 you said between the cardboard, that's not going to help, but inside the box will, I have made many paper mache boxes like this, just offering my previous trial and error
Love all your crafts you are a genius. I am a starter crafter 🥴 so can you tell me if i use the modpodge and White glue together? I hope you still Read these comments as it has been a while
Hello.I didn’t use enough glue to attach the paper firmly to the box. I also didn’t seal the box with varnish or mod podge so my paper did come up a bit. If you properly seal your box it should be good for a long time. ( as much as cardboard can last, of course). 🥰❤️
Que pena que no pongan subtitulos para saber que materiales usa. Hermoso trabajo. Ojalá lo pueda encontrar traducirdo al español para realizarlo. Bendiciones por tan hermoso trabajo. Saludos😙😙 desde Argentina

Marvellous.God job. I have wanted for this.sorry for my bad english. I Will try to make one.
I love that rose cushion .. ❤
Did you make that? Where can I buy one please 😄
She made that cushion in one of her last videos. She’s so talented.😊❤️
@@Debbiesdilemmas really, I must sieve thru .. do you know how long ago, pls
Beautifull.
Beautiful, if u don't mind me asking, what are the measurements of the box?
Fabulous 🎉
Tell me, how did you mask up the box as most boxes have openings ?
Well done and thanks for sharing 😊
Extra cardboard flat pieces glued and taped over flaps, she showed the box all taped up and it's obviously doubled on all sides
I was thinking of gluing flat paint sticks in between the cardboard for more support. That way it can hold more without bending in the middle.
@@tati001 it would be better on the inside or outside, if you create a space between the two pieces of cardboard you make it less strong
@@emilymulcahy on the inside like ribs. It was just an idea, do what makes sense to you.
@@tati001 you said between the cardboard, that's not going to help, but inside the box will, I have made many paper mache boxes like this, just offering my previous trial and error
Tremenda transformación 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Abdolutely love it 💖

Amazing!
Amazing 💓
Love all your crafts you are a genius. I am a starter crafter 🥴 so can you tell me if i use the modpodge and White glue together? I hope you still Read these comments as it has been a while
Hi Lisa. You can use them together. I do that sometimes when I run out of one or the other. In general, modpodge is better quality. Have fun!
Très beau travail. Merci à vous
This is great and it looks expensive. I think it could easily look like a worn leather with a different paint color.
Yes love that. 😊❤️❤️
This is awesome thank you
I love this! With the paper even though you used the modge podge, in time does the paper tear?
Hello.I didn’t use enough glue to attach the paper firmly to the box. I also didn’t seal the box with varnish or mod podge so my paper did come up a bit. If you properly seal your box it should be good for a long time. ( as much as cardboard can last, of course). 🥰❤️
