- Is the 18 inch chain right for you? Is it too short? Will it feel uncomfortable? Possibly! I wanted to make a review on the 18 inch chain to help people out. This chain can work great if it works out. Thanks for watching!

I’m 6’ 250-260lbs and my neck is 18”. I could barely stand a 20”. 22-24” is best for my two chain look.
Congrats on the weight loss B!!
Congratulations on losing 50 lbs, Braden. You look good.
All of your points about the 18 inch chain are Valid but I could not go smaller than a 22 inch.
I agree broski. 24 is the best, over the head, so eeeeeeeeeasy. 22 is nice though, I could never hate on 22. I'm not paying these gold prices though. No way.
20 inch is my to go. MAYBE 22, but cant go higher than that. Long chains just dont look good imo
Bro we need a restock please im ready to buyyyyyy
As a skinner dude with a longer neck, 18 works for me as it sits right under my collar bone. Actually am going to get a 20 inch 5 mm yacht to go with it.
Definitely wouldn’t recommend the 18 for anyone with a thicker neck/shorter neck, even for me I can feel it and if t was heavier could feel restrictive
The 18inch is great for Polo shirts or button ups
Looking really good my brother, glad to see you, and Raquel are staying healthy out there! I’m not gonna lie, that 18 inch looks pretty damn good on you, Just had to throw that out there. Has More the classy vibe I feel.
Congratulations on the weight loss 👍👍
Summer time is coming up so its beater season lol got my 20" + 18" stack ready
20” is the shortest I’ll go for me personally. I think the 18” looks good but not on everyone. I honestly only wear 22” and 24” but have considered buying myself a 20”. I’ve tried my sons 20” chain and think it looks okay on me.
I’ve tried it.. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re used to 22” and 24” which is what I wear. 20” can become annoying sometimes even with a pendant. I ended up selling the 20” I bought after two months wear.
Congrats on the weight loss...
I didn’t know! I just got my 18in ice chain (today!) and I’m returning it because it is too short 😭. I have a huge pendant and it looks crazy 🤣🤣
I wish I could pull off an 18" chain. I'm 6'4" and my neck is 18.5" and a bit muscley. My Jacoje Franco 2.5mm 14k 24" looks like that 18" on you! But it's my 'never take off' chain.
Looking forward to getting a 3mm Franco 18K 26" to stagger with the 2.5mm this November if I meet me weight loss (-40 lbs) and weight training goals! Though If I loose 60lbs I might jump to a 3.5mm franco :)
I’m 5’ 5” and I think 18 is too small for me. Especially sleeping with it was hard to get used to. Don’t torture yourself. Go 20” shortest. 22” if you’re a big dude. As your shortest of course. But to each their own. Some dudes like being choked.
Height doesn't matter it's the circumference of your neck, you can be 5'5 and have a biscuit neck lol... or be like Manute Bol and be 7'7 with a giraffe neck
Agreed. 18 inches on a beefy guy reminds me of a dog collar.
😂😂😂 I’m dead
@@beezeal2042 biscuit neck, lol.
Some dudes like being choked 👀 💀 🤣
18 isn't bad if you pair with a pendant to keep it from tucking into your shirt. I was rocking an 18 inch 22k Franco with a 20 inch 22k rope with the Franco having the eagle and the rope having the angel. I loved that setup
You don’t wear them anymore?
Pls restock 4mm22in Cuban🙏❤
Cool video many thumbs up. Great honest points about buying chains. You guys are the best as always. Congratulations on the weight loss. You look great. What is your secret?
I would stack it with the shorter chain being the thicker one and the longer chain having the pendant. I've been thinking about a thicker rope chain like that, think it looks good.
I like at least 24 to fit over my big head. But I’m old school.
Nah, I’ll stick with 20 inches as my shortest chain. I’ve tried 18 inches, but yeah, it was too much of a choker. 20 to 24 inches are my preferred lengths.
I had 18 inch chain and I never wore it. I ended up sending to DJI and turn it into a bracelet. I like the 20’.
I only have an 18 inch because I have kids🤷🏾♂️ it took me a while to get used to tho
Congrats on the weight loss! You are out here looking exactly how you looked in your videos from 7 years ago! As a smaller female, the 18 fits like a 20…the 20 fits like a 22. What are your thoughts on stocking 16 inch lengths in the thicker chains for females?
16 inch fits me like an 18 inch. I like 16 and 18 stacked with pendants.
I’m 40 years old, when I was in my 20s wearing anything shorter than 26 was unthinkable. Looking back, some of the chains I had were way too long but I can’t below 22/24 even today, I’m old school.
I used to own a 3mm 18in gold rope. Im a 5 4 dude so it kinda worked. However in the end I decided to sell it cus it was just too short for my liking. If you’re considering an 18 inch then I highly recommend just going up to the 20 inch as it’s a much more noticeable length. I currently stack 2 22in chains and much prefer that length to anything else
Please make a video on the iced out alien 🔥👌🏽
Great look for women
I have an 18" 4mm Cuban. I'm a skinny guy so it fits more like a 20" on some people, but it's still close. It's the perfect no-pendant addition to the 20 and 22" chains I have with pendants.
I’m 6 foot 4 and north of 200 pounds. All I gotta say is that my 24 inch chains wear on me like a 22 inch 😎
If you wear a lot of button down shirts or vnecks/henleys 20 inches is perfect if you unbutton a button or two. 18 works too
Congratulations on the weight loss, chain goes super hard 💯💯
Palm Beach County Florida 4 Life 💯💯
lol dam how many Palm beach county dudes know about Jacoje
Weight loss looks great !!
Hey Braden can you order more 5.5 mm rose gold flat curbs because right now you’re out of everything
I love my 18 inch chain, i have an 18kt 18in 3mm Franco and i layer it with a 14kt 22in 4.5mm Figarope. Never take both off except to clean them. I sleep in both and never any issues.
I have a 18kt Standard Cross for the Franco as well, but I'm looking for a different pendant as I have a Standard Flooded Diamond Boss Cross coming for the Figarope
No issues showering in them? Been trying to figure out if soap residue matters that much aside from maybe temporary blemish until cleaned
@@Nolbert24 none at all brother, I clean my jewelry once a month though in the ultrasonic
No issues showering at all. Sleeping is fine as well. @@Nolbert24
I cant wven clip an 18" chain around my neck!
It looks nice i wish you did a comparison of each chain and mm at 18inch and 20inch like double stack look
Braden, do you still do chain upgrades? I bought a 20" 22k rope from you guys, thinking I want to go 22". I'm getting fatter 😂 Also, been looking for a diamond chain to add to the look, most come in 22" vs 20"
I feel like the biggest chain should be a choker then small as you go down and have a pendent on the longest chain so it all comes to a point like a MrT starter kit I have a 18 8mm Miami, 20 in 5.8 fat curb, 4mm 22in concave curb with a medium size heavy cross and looks amazing all 14k yellow gold and the Cuban has a ruby in its button
Jocoje make a video explaining how they’re only getting 50% gold when they buy 14 karat gold chains.
Yo!!!!! Whatup Braden! Congrats on the 50+ lbs brotha! I bet you feel great, I’ve lost 70 and I feel like a brand new man. Great job! Keep it going!
how did you lose the weight
Diet and lots of exercise
video on weight loss plz
Braden!! Restock some 18K Rose Gold ropes 2mm or 3mm please!!!
Why are the short chains like 18 and 20 so poupular now?im my day it was 24 to 30 inch chains ,now most kids are rocking short Miami cubans iced out
Personally I believe that the 18” is pretty small and will take a little getting used to and the 20, 22 are way better choices but everything was already sold out so I had to get what I could
I’m 6’4” 200lbs and wear a 3mm 18” rope and stack with a 20” 2mm rope and a 20” 2mm box chain. Looks dope imo
That’s my favorite length but then again I’m a short guy lol.
i'm looking for a chain for my birthday a 22 inch may be the way.
Just got a 20” to go with my 22” and 18” looks like it be a tight fit I think 20” is the smallest I’d go
When are you getting a restock for 18k and 22k?
Love the shorter lighter
I bought an 18 but i got rid of it cuz being tight on my neck led to a rash
Lookin good Braden! Congrats on the weight loss, I’m on the same journey
@jacoje are you wearing 14k? whats your opinion on 18k vs 14k?
Please only restock 18k in the future
22” is the sweet spot.
That's my style all day That rope is Killin it👍👍
Im 5'8" avg build. I have two jacoje 18in that i literally NEVER take off, other than to add occasional pendants. I rock the small basic mini cross and a mini buddha on them sometimes either or, or both pendants same time, with a 22in chain. ALL Jacoje here fam!
One is a 2.5mm cuban which gets the small cross pendant. And a 2mm byzantine, which gets the mini buddha pendant!!!
U have baby chains, the thicker it is the smaller it feels around the neck
Wear a 16” or 18” with a classy collared fit. The more casual you dress, the lower the chain should be IMO
You don’t have to yell bro lol
I got a 4mm 18inch chain and it sits perfect in my dip with the pendant
Advice needed, I have a 9ct 18in 8mm chain weighting 27grams, it's too short, should I straight trade it for a 14ct 22in 4mm weighting 8grams??
In my experience, my 18" 2mm 14k rope with a silver spear pendant looked better before I started working out regularly years ago. I think it rides too high and just looks off with my long neck and growing shoulder and neck muscles. I'm 6' and around 150lbs. It still looks fine without the spear on it now that I'm trying that after this video. I have my 5mm sterling byzantine chain with a mjolnir pendant paired with it. I really liked the look of that thicker rope at 18" so maybe I'll eventually upgrade to that after I find a place to sell this 2mm rope for as close to spot as I can get.
He's not wrong. I have a 17 " neck so I can't really wear my chains without them being like a choker. Even a 20 inch people tell me it looks small but in the summer is great and I don't like metal hitting me in the face
18 inch is my go to with a collared shirt 2 buttons open, tank top, V-necks, or jerseys (baseball/football/hockey) because it can be seen above collar line and doesn’t tuck. I need a minimum 24” chain to not tuck on jerseys without pendant.
Im looking at purchasing your 18k 5m 18 in tomorrow, but i cant decide between it or 14k, im looking for the best looking and shine between the two, can you please help someone?
I just pulled out my 14k 2mm 18" I rocked at 18 but nope I can't do it. I out grew it. 20" is my minimum but I am 6'2".
Jacoje When you restocking 22 inch 4mm Miami Cuban 14k yellow w the lobster?
A 18” chain is too short for me, not because it’s uncomfortable, but because I prefer 20” and above. Congrats on your weight loss!
Great review addressing a length of chain that is semi out of the pocket. But this day and age shorter chains are definitely making a splash, and thicker at a shorter length is what you should go with if doing so. That being said all of this is subjective. There is no right or wrong in how you want to wear your jewelry, but always take your gold content/look into consideration. If you want a particular size always go with another MM or more, because once you get bit by the gold bug, you’ll always be chasing the next chew!
yo i REALLY like that style of figaro with the rounded links and less diamond cuts that you hang your pendant on, are you gonna offer that or can you drop the name of it or where you got it?
18 inch wont fit me. Traps and neck 20 gives me the chocker look
my man are you healthy? can you drop some words on your wheight loss? Viewer for more than 6 years here. I don't want to worry :D
I’m thinking about getting a 3.5 figarope at 18 inches, it’ll stack nice with my 4mm 20 inch rope with a pamp, and my 6mm 24inch Miami Cuban. Congrats on the weight loss too, what type of workouts are you doing? Can we expect a body building Braden?😂
That’s a sick stack idea. I have a 2mm wheat chain in 18in right now that I don’t take off, and am going to grab a 20 inch yacht chain in 20 to stack with it.
I might eventually get a 22 to swap out with one of them or to wear on its own
@@jayfron6012the 22in would look nice if u put a pendant on the wheat chain, otherwise just to stack, it would look so dope with the 20in😎
I have an 18" neck and wear a 20" rope and 22" figaro daily. Never take them off.
22 and 23 inches what I rock. That's a lil too short.
Looking great Braeden! Can you share your weight loss diet with us?
Congrats on the weight loss. I have the opposite problem the 22 inch seems small now since I gained weight. I gotta start working out again. I really like howthe 18inch looks
Smashed it🙏👊👊
Hell yeah made it in early with this video I'm usually asleep when they come out because of the time difference lol
You ever reveal the winners to the contests?
My neck is 18 inches
The goat 🙌🏼 always appreciate the detail and in depth thought you give in your vids!
18inch to small for a man.
Shop Jacoje
20-22 is perfect
20 is the shortest for me. 20& 22 my sweet spot. 24 has the old style baggy long look I don’t like.
Yo!!!
You my hero bro. I only shop jacoje now best quality.
Congrats on loosing 50 pounds
I want to get a 5mm 18” rope to layer with the 6mm rope 20” but I’m nervous about the short length. 7mm 22” would be too much I think I’m not trying to have that look. I’m only 5’6 would the 18” be ok?
Im 5'8" avg build and wear 2 18in chains i NEVER take off. Sometimes with pendants sometimes without.
A 2.5mm cuban, and a 2mm byzantine. So smallerish, but still presentable. Paired with a 22in its a humble stack.
Honestly height doesn't matter as much as weight if you are at the recommend weight range then the chain should sit fine and your bigger the tighter it will be
Depends on your neck size. I have a thinner neck and 18 works for me as it sits a bit below my collar bone, but I could see it being uncomfortable for wider necks.
@@jayfron6012 18in with a pendant, pendant falls right in bewteen my collar bones, absolute sweet spot.
I have a 20in that I love, but to do it all again I might have gone 22in. I can't even imagine 18in. That's a whole different look.
That’s how guys are supposed to wear it not dangling like a girl chain
