Sometimes being nice gets to the point where you start to resent others. Setting boundaries is very important. Don't be so nice that people start to take advantage of your kindness and use your good nature against you.

What am I going to implement first? Getting aware about what I want (what I don't want is pretty clear) and how to get there. Not feeling guilty about making myself a priority and asking for what I want. Trying not to explain myself, a hard one! It is all important what you said and I do already stand up for myself it is just that the environment these days (even I moved to another country and people are way more pleasant here) do not seem to understand or support that much standing up for yourself maybe because they are afraid to do it themselves or lack of self awareness and confidence. Lots of underdogs out there! And the overdogs like the narcs, it is them that scare me the most because they are so agressive and I am too gentle over all. They are sneaky in their manipulations and letting you feel guilty for normal behaviour. Work in progress.. thank you so much for your contribution to empower others!

These are excellent tips!!! I’m not exactly your target audience - I would consider myself mostly an extrovert, and I’m an actor/writer/singer/talk show host - I literally talk for a living! But this video in particular really resonated with me... I’m so glad I watched it! What a gift you’re giving to people in helping us all to communicate better and take better care of each other and ourselves!!!!
