      Not gonna lie, I love Olive Garden Chicken Scampi! Also, last time I had the BJ Brewhouse New Orleans Jambalaya, it wasn't as good as I remembered, but it used to be awesome. 👍Thank you! Make me a subscriber!!

    Just had Bang Bang Shrimp for the first time this past weekend at Bonefish Grill and fell in love! So, I came here looking for the recipe to make at home and I do believe I found it. Looks Absolutely Delicious. Thanks for sharing! Just subscribed.

    I made this tonight and it was delicious. Needed more heat and I only had large shrimp in the freezer that I wanted to cook up. Next time, smaller shrimp. The corn starch gave it the perfect crunch. The sauce was great! Thank you for sharing this!

    Ty so much. I'm subscribed to less than 15 channels and I added yours. I love that you broke down the cost. I worked in the business for over 20 years, getting through my BS Acct, MBA, M in Marketing. I then went back to wash dishes, prep and do the fish fry. I was always foh and idk what I loved more. I also did the books at Red Robin for 3 yrs, and since we were the training store I had to train MITs the system, how to do and enter inv, I did bar, manage. I love the business. Ty.

      Thanks for checking out the channel! Ive worked at that location once or twice, but I was mostly at the Bruce b downs location. The recipe has def changed over the years, but this is the old school way to make it!

    I just came for the sauce recipe bang bang shrimp is my favorite appetizer from Bone fish Grill. Everyone is making it without the salad you did it authentic .

    Never heard of Band Bang shrimp until I had Bang Pow shrimp at the local Indian casino. Looked it up and I'm hooked. They used a bed of cabbage, but....Now I just have to see if there's a local Bonefish. Do a comparison, then try my hand at yours. Not a huge cook since I'm single and hate eating the same thing for days. Thus recipe is easy to keep small!

    I've noticed that other recipes mention the inclusion of lemon juice and vinegar. Could it be that the recipe has been altered since your last visit?

      To be honest, I do like to add a little lemon juice to my sauce, it brightens up the flavors a little bit!

      Just enough buttermilk to soak the shrimp in. The cornstarch is just enough to coat them.

    Hello, please can you tell me the ratios Bonefish uses and the brand of Mayo, chili, and sriracha? I used a sauce with those 3 ingredients and it was awful and nothing like the real Bonefish sauce. I took some to go and tried mine with those 3 ingredients of the Hoy Foods sweet chili and it it looked the same but tasted nothing and I mean nothing like it..

      Thanks for checking out the channel, this was the original recipe from when the company started. I don't remember the brands we used back then, but i'm sure it has changed over the years and varies by region. I know we always used the huy fong sriracha. Dont remember which mayo or sweet chili sauce tho. I believe it was mai ploy

      It is an appetizer typically just served with some lettuce as a garnish. They are really good as tacos tho!

    We went to Florida a few years ago (before you all got MAGA stupid), and absolutely the Bang Bang Shrimp at Bonefish was to die for. Thanks!! I have found this same recipe elsewhere. It is absolutely the best!!!

      That one is a little tough. But you should be able to find it at any normal grocery store in the ethnic isle

      You certainly can use flour in a pinch. It just won't give it as much of a crunch, and will be a little heavier of a coating. Still works tho!

    I just tried this and the sauce didn’t taste right. I’m not a cook so I told my wife to just get and sweet chili sauce which is not the same as yours. I honestly didn’t think it would make a difference but it does.

      Thats a bummer. The brand of chili sauce can definitely make difference. Some are sweeter than others or taste a bit different. You can always call ur bonefish and ask what brand they use. I try to get the authentic sweet chili sauce from an asian market.

    What brands does Bonefish use of the Mayo, sweet chili, and sriracha? I tried this and it wasn’t at all like theirs. I think there has got to be something else missing.

      Hope this helps a bit. The spicy level changes based on how new the sriracha is too! it always varied at the restaurant as well.

      It’s nothing like theirs because you’re right it’s missing chili garlic sauce, lemon juice and vinegar. There is no sriracha in it. It’s not fried with corn starch nor in vegetable oil.

    Lol I used to work at bonefish grill as well. I remember the recipe but came on here to find to make sure I was doing it right. Come to find out you work that bonefish grill too. That's funny lol I wonder who's tastes better

      I heard now they make it a little different. They use sambal instead of Sriracha, and add lime juice.

    This isn't the recipe. Sriracha is not an ingredient. You need to look for another style of spicy, garlicy Asian sauce. (Try somewhere South of the Philippines, West of Papua New Guinea and north of Australia) 4 parts mayo, 1 part Thai Sweet Chili. 1/2 part the other very common/widely available sauce/paste and a splash of a particular citrus

      Thanks for commenting and watching. I was part of the opening team for a lot of the original Florida locations. The recipe has changed a lot over the years, and they switched to sambal after a few years. Thanks for bringing it up, because with the price of Sriracha these days, it's a much cheaper alternative.

    The ingredients for the bang bang sauce is incorrect. The breading used to fry the shrimp is incorrect. Even the type of oil you’re using to fry is incorrect.
