Big improvement from opening night!!! Very happy with the lyrics and showmanship!! DLR brings the fans to life when he sings the songs instead of unnecessarily trying to reach 5 octaves above the original sound. The fans want to sing and party along. Dave doesnt have anything to prove. He has a successful career and is the most FLAMBOYANT front man ever in ROCK HISTORY!! This is now a show I want to see!!!
VH Roth is the real legacy. Just gotta adjust to an original still kicking it 50 years later. Miss the screams and the jumps but at least he’s not dead like so many other icons. Come on Dave!
This sounds pretty stellar actually. When he stays in his classic baritone range he sounds absolutely fine! It's when he goes too high that it becomes cringey screeching like water thrown on a sick cat. Dave hasn't had that high register since 2012. This rocked!
I saw him interviewed by Joe Rogan and he still works out daily and he's looking Joe who is a workout guy himself who's at least 15 years is Junior and he says I work out but man oh man it's the age that gets to you you can't do it like you used to kind of a warning for Joe that father time is a badass and he's going to whip you one day I know this personally being nearly his age I was a college athlete and I work out on a regular basis but my goodness rust never sleeps Got to appreciate a man of his seniority making an effort to put it out and all you youngsters get off my lawn.
Have you seen VH live? Or any one guitar band? Sounds terrible when the solo hits. Any pro guitar player can do what ed did...hell 11 year Olds are playing his stuff
There is definitely something wrong with the people's hearing and commenting that this sounded great. This was horrible, I feel embarrassed for Dave. He just doesn't care or know that his voice is gone. He lost his voice a very long time ago.
