I've seen a lot of ppl playing tri-brigade on ladder that forget about doom eagle. If you're trying to build one of these variants, don't forget about that card. It's a great tool that has won me a ton of games in tcg that I otherwise would've lost
I haven’t played tcg since early 5Ds era, but just learning and practicing one or two key combos let me learn what was the most efficient. Definitely more convoluted than spamming the same onomat combo in duel links this summer.
I like these types of videos. One of the harder things for new-ish players like me is trying to figure out how the tops deck work, not just so you can play them but also so you can play against them. I often have something like Ash or Impermanence in my hand, but just don't know when I should use them. Keep it up I'm looking forward to some more.
there is no hard rule about what to ash or negate, you just make your best guess. the only way you really know is by having played that deck before so you know where its chokepoint is. you know, if you ever played a card before and thought "i really hope this doesnt get negated or i have no more plays", then thats what you wanna negate when playing against it. and if the other player still plays on even after being negated, then look how they did it and you might learn something new about your future negates and also playing through negates.
For anyone looking for a counter to bird up or any monster combo deck Skill Drain can be deadly. This card shuts down so many decks so if your deck can handle having no monster effects on field then you can straight up win if they can’t deal with it
I came from duel links and was hoping to make some Lunalights, but then I saw these little bird girls in the same pack, and imagine my surprise when I searched about the archetype and saw it was on the meta of the TCG! I immediately started building it and I don't regret anything! The birb really was the word in the end.

Nice video! You should put a zeus in tho, it makes the rank 1 that atks directly so much better since zeus is basically always available turn 2 and you can have 3 sends. You can remove either harpie conductor, rugal or doomeagle, the latter is usually used only if you also have accesscode
I picked this deck up too, I highrolled 2 Shureig and thought about trying it. I only played zoodiac and cyber dragon in 2017, learned dragon link last month and this deck was very similar to dragon link
I ended up picking up this deck mostly cause it shared quite a few cards with floowandereeze, my absolute favorite deck that I'll build guaranteed. Also birds, i have become the Yu-Gi-Oh bird girl now. The combo lines were so much tougher to get right than i realized, it's pretty cool
my biggest problem with bird up in master duel is all the eldlich decks running skill drain, if you dont have any way to deal with backrow its pretty much a guaranteed loss i had to remove a few things to put in a harpies feather duster, a lightning storm and 2 galaxy cyclones

There’s a lv1 lyrilusc deck that I loved trolling people with. I don’t have an exact deck profile atm and it wasn’t 100% successful, but basically you get as many lv1 monsters on the field (kynka byo, raidraptor birds, jester clown? Any lv1 monster that special summons is good- Basically you xyz summon the bird that can attack as many times as it has material, and you use power of the guardian and another equip card that boosts attack. It would basically be as consistent as long as you have 3-4 guaranteed summons and 1-2 equips in hand, you just attack directly for game.
I ran into this deck today in Ranked, I lost but man it's a nice deck and I wanted to do Tri-Zoodiac, guess I'll do Tri-Lyrilusc now haha. Thanks for the deck list and small help. I'll watch the 2 hours video next! :D
Just finished building a control variant of Zoodiac using tons of URs yet i still have 10k gems left. I like how this game basically allows you one or two full decks for free as long as you aren't stupid with where you pull from and using your crafting material

so people are sleeping on jack in the hand in bird up. it makes bird call way stronger as you now have 2 cards with basically the same effect but different names to go against the once per turn and 1 is searchable so if you draw jack you can search somewhere during your combo celest wagtail to keep extending for free.
I cut the utopic future lines to play union carrier equip mist valley thunderbird. “Infinite” negates with apex avian effect backed by hand traps and other disruptions

Japan players best deck, every single time. Now a lot of westerner players are going play this too. Today a line I played against this deck at least 5-6 times. This is why I wish Yugioh OCG/TCG implement the rules of every monster can only activate their effect once per turn without having to write once per turn. Also the deck the needs to end with Barrier Statue of the Stormwind to completely shut down your opponent from special summoning non wind monsters.
I'm trying to make the deck and still missing a few UR but not sure what UR i should dismantle and from where i can easily get them. Are there any tips and tricks you can share ?
First community tournament happened recently and there were so many Bird up decks. I think this is going to be the meta deck people will tend to default to to reach plat. But I’ve been doing real well with counters like Eldlich against them as well. Really slows their gameplay down. Or even prank kids to rush your combos first before them.
I've been running into Eldlich non-stop in ranked. As a returning casual player with now genuine interest in ranked, what are some options for countering Eldlich aside from Royal Decree? I can count the number of archetypes I vaguely know by name and playstyle on one hand T.T

i crafted drytrons and will do virtual world after, i use a couple lyrilusc xyz in the drytron (including robin) and i think they are cute; but i don't like tri brigade so i won't do it ever also i think ZEUS would be a nice addition to this deck since you can proc it easly
at 1:57 after summoning utopic draco future I cannot activate Kitt effect, even though i have so many monsters on GY. any advise on this? I dont know what went wrong. and i havent summon the yellow lyrilusc yet. so no restriction on XYZ only.

Yeah this deck might be fun to play but it definitely is not fun to play against, I faced it earlier and they dropped the statue that makes it so you can't summon anything but wind monsters. Really not fun, making it so I have no way to summon anything is not cool. Though frankly the accesscode, dragonlink, madolche and other such meta decks I've seen are essentially just as unfun to play against

Tier 2, also this deck has quite some decision tree to make, not a simple deck Dragon maid is resource type deck, it get stronger when turn pass But current meta is deck that is very oppressive in beginning, you set the board and boom you won Dragon maid is obviously not that kind of deck
@@kajin2422 note: tier 2 deck is still a good deck, most deck won't even make to tier 2 Tier 1 is basically drytron, virtual world, bird up, eldritch Virtual world is most likely the strongest due to vfd, the "very friendly dragon" Drytron is the most oppressive deck, if you don't have counter and drytron has the 1st move, you are going to lose for certain, 100% But both virtual world and drytron have huge chance in facing ban list if we follow tcg/ocg history The ban list will hit drytron real hard, possibly send it straight to tier 3 Virtual world will able to remain competitive but definitely not as shinning as before

I bought the 3 bundles, and went straight to stewart force and got the boss for dragon maid so I have their secret pack but didn’t pull any SR’s for cryston so I don’t have theirs. Do u think it’s a safe investment to just go all out in dragon maids since I have their banner, or try doing another 10 pull in stewart force hoping I get a Drytron?
I love this deck and am playing it in Master Duel as well. Unfortunately I lost a mirror match with it today, where I managed to break the opposing board (Avian, Assemblue, Ancient Warriors Link, Utopic Future Drago, Simorph) in spite of getting Maxx Ced on my first turn, getting back into a favorable position, but then losing to timeout of all things because I didn't know how Master Duel handles multiple discards for hand size. I thought I was required to select all discards at once, not one at a time. Cost me a good extra 10 seconds to realize that, which in turn cost me the practically won game as well.

did you use beryl's summon effect, which means you can only summon xyz for rest of turn

Yeah this deck might be fun to play but it definitely is not fun to play against, I faced it earlier and they dropped the statue that makes it so you can't summon anything but wind monsters. Really not fun, making it so I have no way to summon anything is not cool. Though frankly the accesscode, dragonlink, madolche and other such meta decks I've seen are essentially just as unfun to play against
I mean, tbf, there's almost no meta deck that's fun to play against.
@@smitefulaxe1344 eldlich counters meta decks and frankly I'd rather play into that cause it's like a puzzle game instead of looking at my hand and saying "oh I literally can't do shit here cause he has a board of negates cool"

How is dragon maid?? I want to use it as my first deck as it seems strong but I’m not hearing too much about the archetype?? Can someone give me some advice :))
Tier 2, also this deck has quite some decision tree to make, not a simple deck
Dragon maid is resource type deck, it get stronger when turn pass
But current meta is deck that is very oppressive in beginning, you set the board and boom you won
Dragon maid is obviously not that kind of deck

@@kajin2422 note: tier 2 deck is still a good deck, most deck won't even make to tier 2
Tier 1 is basically drytron, virtual world, bird up, eldritch
Virtual world is most likely the strongest due to vfd, the "very friendly dragon"
Drytron is the most oppressive deck, if you don't have counter and drytron has the 1st move, you are going to lose for certain, 100%
But both virtual world and drytron have huge chance in facing ban list if we follow tcg/ocg history
The ban list will hit drytron real hard, possibly send it straight to tier 3
Virtual world will able to remain competitive but definitely not as shinning as before

I bought the 3 bundles, and went straight to stewart force and got the boss for dragon maid so I have their secret pack but didn’t pull any SR’s for cryston so I don’t have theirs. Do u think it’s a safe investment to just go all out in dragon maids since I have their banner, or try doing another 10 pull in stewart force hoping I get a Drytron?
I love this deck and am playing it in Master Duel as well. Unfortunately I lost a mirror match with it today, where I managed to break the opposing board (Avian, Assemblue, Ancient Warriors Link, Utopic Future Drago, Simorph) in spite of getting Maxx Ced on my first turn, getting back into a favorable position, but then losing to timeout of all things because I didn't know how Master Duel handles multiple discards for hand size. I thought I was required to select all discards at once, not one at a time. Cost me a good extra 10 seconds to realize that, which in turn cost me the practically won game as well.
