@@panda-dn2cc i fail to see your point? he just stated his favorite era and said master duel is a bit overwhelming with the meta decks people are running.
@@heribertorosajr5072 its a joke lmao. He isnt being serious. Drytron is a ritual deck, but it’s obviously nothing near the power level of classic yugioh so he is making a joke about drytrons making rituals(which are an extremely low power mechanic from classic era) into a meta powerhouse
Something sad, I am literally already bored of Master Duel. I don't want to play the same 3 decks as everyone else just to do well and it takes like 20 mins for someone to complete turn one then 5 more mins to play after I played 1 card.... I legit got demoted for surrendering too much out of bordem hoping to find a better match with a fun back and forth...
Today I did 10 matches and ran into 10 Ghoti decks in a row and each one played the EXACT SAME....I just closed out the game and was like I'm bored. Started playing my emulator. I just came here to say oh a turn 1 win deck that sounds SOOOOOO much fun...
My favourite era of Yu-Gi-Oh was definately the GX-Era, it got a nice boost to the classic format and was extremly well put with the "dark-side" based storylines, where you had elemental heros and evil heros, night shroud with his red eyes and not to forget hell kaiser ryo (zane) with dark cybers, as a 15 year old geek it was so epic
My favourite era would probably be 5Ds, it still felt a lot like simple old school Yu-Gi-Oh but introduced exciting extra deck monsters that weren't as tricky to get out as fusions. That said each era has its own charm!
@Cal yeah I love xyz and links too, but I think when xyz were introduced really changed the trajectory of the game to the fast paced combo game it is today and was when we really started to see the gap widen between 'classic' Yu-Gi-Oh and 'modern' Yu-Gi-Oh. Tbh though I really enjoy both.

My favourite era of Yugioh was the very classic one. I still remember watching and playing Yu-Gi-Oh when I was a kid and then I stopped until I came back before Master Duel. It's been tough learning all these new summonings but I'm getting there and loving it.

Elemental hero era is a very close second, I love the fusion summoning the heroes had. Ahhh been loving this game since release! Feel like a kid again!
My favorite era was pre-pendulum. It just felt like there was more versatility in that time where obviously there was a meta, but other random decks still had a chance
there were 2 players playing yugioh now, now it's just one player spamming a billion special summon and the other player watches his defeat building up....the only thing that makes me not completely hate the game is the random people that plays fun decks cus they just like the theme or wants to live an anime moment. fk meta and whoever made it possible to have one player completely afk through their inevitable loss.
Damn that hella OP. Me and my kids started playin duel masters but still new to yugioh. I even tried building a pendulum deck but have trouble learning how to play it but damn this video was sikk
Classic era Yu-gi-oh hands down!! Getting the Yugi starter deck as a kid and watching the show will forever be in my found memories, Battle City tournament is my favorite season.
yoooo Triff in here?! that made this video so much better! The King of Pends: Triff. My fave era in Yu-Gi-Oh is the DM era, because that's where it started and its amazing
there is a bug happening when you play eletrumite and wisdom-eyed, its really breaking the game couse you cant combo that way, the card effects wont come out, you can try to use ir but they wont come out !
The glasses transition was epic!! And to answer your question Sam, my favorite era of yugioh definitely has to be when links first came out. It was a big nerf to being able to turbo out XYZ and Synchro monsters with only having those certain zones open. So I took it old school with ritual monsters.
of course my favourite era was the classic one just because of nostalgia but im really getting back into it recently from 2020, duel links and master duel have really helped
Honestly, my favourite eras were gx and arcv, arcv especially since it introduced some of my favourite archetypes in the game - odd eyes pendulum and fluffals, as well as additional support for galaxy's.
Favorite era will be the GX. Really loved Jadens development from happy go lucky duel to serious one. And at the last part where he duels Yugi, he was able to feel that joy over again after through his experiences because of duel monsters.
tried this deck and i can't seem to get the summons down 100% any tips by anyone, including you samurai triff, on how to properly use it, kinda new to the game and still tryna figure out all the effect chains correctly lol
My favorite yugioh era was the zexal because that was how I got into yugioh. I started with zexal then followed the actual timeline of the yugioh series.
Awww man very hard to decide between zexal and 5ds I'm gonna have to go with zexal because the animation of that series was just so sick!! Summoning xyz monsters was a phenomenal presentation (especially the rare galaxy eyes photon dragon). The graphics are definitely hands down the best to see in my opinion in all series
So I literally started a new account just to build and try this deck. 4 hours of practice against the computer and I'm yet to get 6 monsters even once. We need a better break down on how these cards function. I don't understand at all
My favorite Era of yugioh is GX, I loved the duels in that Era the most and just seeing how passionate and fun Jaden dueled was a treat, plus HEROES baby!
They make this deck sound better then it is.. the electromite doesnt work without curtain raiser. Going 2nd in plat only work sometimes. Most people set up multiple negates. You can get bricked very easily. So many cards that stop effects.. play vs shaddolls or drytron, good luck. Also this game has spaghetti coding, you can leave before the coin flip and get a disconnect.. so if you dont get to go first.. just alt f4 try again.. After getting to plat 2 I saw this happen over and over again. People just want OP first turn. Not fun. Also everyone runs max c and ash, several other handtrap cards that can brick when you are going first. Plat people play vs this deck often, so the better deck will always counter pend. Good deck to cheese people, makes the game boring. and way better other decks that are more consistent. If you watch any videos on this though, its 100% curtain raiser everytime... which doesnt always happen.. they just show the easy pull games. You do get it alot, but not every single first hand, like they pretend in the videos.
Facts, and honestly from using this deck for the past week curtain raiser rarely gets drawn first hand. Definitely agree with you on them making this deck sound better than it really is. I’ve lost hella matches going first and second due to lack of material to even summon past electromite or getting bricked immediately at the start of the match. Did better running my pendulum magician deck.
My favorite era is the classic era, though GX was an amusing anime. This game came out on steam and reawakened my nostalgia and now I have so much to catch up on. in the first era I remember playing a deck with Neo Magic Swordsman and crab turtle. That cardboard is long lost in a bygone era of history. Crazy to think this game is still going strong but I'm glad to be back in it!
Thank you for what you guys do for this game it's amazing!!!!! I will always live in the 1st generation of Yugi-Oh! I remember seeing toon world drop on thee ol tube back in the day and was completely flabbergasted on how splendiferous it looked and played!!!! I appreciate you guys!
so I'm new on playing pendulums and this deck actually looks so fun really love OTK decks and haven't seen an FTK so really would love to learn how to use this deck maybe if someone could show or teach me how to use this deck like I said I'm very new to pendulums so have no idea how to run this kind of deck
You should check on the web info related to it; while Triff is an excellent duelist, he doesn't explain that well, so better look for some guides For starters, craft Igknights; all their pendulum cards are R & N rarity, and you will get the hang of Pends with them; it's even more easy nowadays since links exists (So no need to care that much about lvl, buy bodies on field) They run out of resources fast, but IMO, is a nice way to start getting used to Pends
faviorite era was probably when i started getting into yugioh, which was in the Zexal era. the xyz material mechanic introduced me to such cool archtypes like burning abyss using tourguide and dante, to traptrix using the familiar bottomless trap hole. playing duel masters, the first deck i made was traptrix, which coincidently had a new link monster. Its just fun to play a familiar deck and get back into yugioh again.
My favorite era (so far) is the original. It starts off as an obvious kids show but the character development in later seasons is insane, like when the Pharaoh uses the Seal of Orichalcos and loses Yugi’s soul
My favourite era is 5ds. The Jack joining back with his old gang again was pretty cool especially when Yusei went to that village in the desert to save his old friend where Jack and Crow came to the rescue. My old time favourite episode
i grew up watching the anime when it first came out and i was a middle schooler collecting cards not knowing a single thing of how to play. here i am 20 years later trying to get the hang of the game
My favorite was when I truly started being competitive, the release of synchros. I made an og Six Sam deck that used x sabers to synchro. Was fun. Even though LSS came later with Shi En, the original synchro release will always be iconic to me.
my favorite era was the when yugioh first came out. I enjoyed playing duels with my brother even though we made alot of illegal moves because we didn't know before :D
I literally just downloaded this game like 3 days ago and i just pulled off my first FTK in ranked due to this. I've never mashed the subscribe button so this hard in my life
My favorite era is ABC’s. I didn’t get into any TCGs until college when my friends convinced me to play. I was instantly hooked with yugioh. I first started with synchros (RIP level eater). Eventually ABC’s came out and I started playing it. I won my first tournament with it. Very great memories.
My favourite era of Yugioh is the 5Ds era. It was when I started playing in locals and really had the opportunities to play and collect. It was also one of the better stories to me in terms of anime!
As much as I still have love for the game. I still remember buying boosters of Magic Ruler an Legend of the BlueEyes. It’s just mind boggling how anybody finds joy in the way the game is played these days.
My favorite Yugioh Era was 5ds, because was the first time they introduced a new card type : Sincro, since then Sincro decks are my favorites, now on master duel im playing Adamancipator and building Infernoble Knights because they look amazing
For me in case of the Anime it is The Legendary Dragons ark from Duel Monsters against dartz and in the TCG it was was 2009 to 2011 Blackwings all the way till Inzektors. This was the time i mostly played.
i just downloaded and i'm lost with it, I'm a big fan of original Yugioh and i remember a little GX, new versions were boring to watch so all those tuners synchros and 10 monsters per turn is totally new for me and i have no idea how to deal with it lmao
My favourite era of yugioh is in 2014 with the BA and shaddoll deck. Those 2 were definitely tier 1, but many other decks were viable, and even the BEST deck was only around 300$ USD including side and extra deck, the game was at it's most affordable for the competitive side of things.
My favorite era of Yu-Gi-Oh has be when the game first came out. Yes there’s absolutely so many cool monsters, spells, and traps now but how can you not love when the game first came out and everyone knew absolutely nothing lol guess I’m old school haha
My favorite yugioh era was the fusion era. I tried so hard to build a hero deck just to imitate Judai (Jaden) I remembered I traded all of my dragon monsters just to get a copy of E. Hero Clayman because he was super hard to get in our area and doesn't have any YGO cardshops. I also started playing YGO seriously because of fusion era. Now that I'm nearing my 30s, the nostalgia hits me hard. I really want to go back in time and duel more. Although I watched all of the YGO series. Fusion era was the best for me. It all started there.
My favorite era of yugioh was when blue eyes was meta because that was when the new yugioh movie came out and alot of new support came out for blue eyes which made the deck competetive and it was just so sick to see an old iconic monster seeing competetive play in modern yugioh
My favorite era of yugioh was always around the time of yugioh gx and seeing how many different fusions the elemental heroes had now there’s a boatload of them
Favorite era of Yu-Gi-Oh is for sure the GX era. It’s where my love for not just heroes came from, but a lot of the deck types. Plus, as a kid, I related to Jaiden a lot!
Love pendulum decks so much I straight away crated this but still having a few problems with getting 6 on the field to get the finish had it once or twice just getting stuck not knowing all the cards
Because this whole deck is a lie I made it too and never been able to OTK, pretty sure he just threw a few OTK clips together and claimed it’s in a row
Because this whole deck is a lie I made it too and never been able to OTK, pretty sure he just threw a few OTK clips together and claimed it’s in a row
No deck is ever truly 100% but I must say, this combo SLAPS! Tried a Cimo build, it failed, picked this sh*t up and it just started popping...Except, of course, against first turn rhongomyiad, calamities, herald of ultimateness, or another board of 2+ negates, but that's to be expected, I suppose-stupid banlist keeps the tier right where it is. Yet, when this goes first, it FTKs so damn often, even through a handtrap or sometimes two! If you lot can play through first turn negate boards with this, resolve the combo and still win, I'll need to see more of that if you don't mind. In the meantime, accept my gratitude for this troll build and keep on doing what you guys do!
my favorite yugioh Era was Arc-V not just because my boy yuya made up a game mechanic when he was losing but because it had some of the most 5head, epic, summons from fusions to synchro to xyz. he even slapped pendulum effects on extra deck monsters like a chad
My favorite Era of YugiOh was probably GX, maybe as a mix of Nostalgia and getting to see new stuff cuz the original YuGiOh was cool but my own interest as a child in the game peaked around then and I liked how they introduced these new Themes and had a whole academy just built around dueling, I guess it was an interesting mirror of school life

I don't understand at all
Lol I figured it out finally... It only took me like 30-40 hrs of practice tho. Deck slaps when u get it down tho
My favorite Era of yugioh is GX, I loved the duels in that Era the most and just seeing how passionate and fun Jaden dueled was a treat, plus HEROES baby!
I guess I need a tutor or something cause I can't win with this deck ever
Atleast toon world takes skill his deck doesn't. A win on round one sucks for the other player and shouldn't happen.
so I'm new on playing pendulums and this deck actually looks so fun really love OTK decks and haven't seen an FTK so really would love to learn how to use this deck maybe if someone could show or teach me how to use this deck like I said I'm very new to pendulums so have no idea how to run this kind of deck
You should check on the web info related to it; while Triff is an excellent duelist, he doesn't explain that well, so better look for some guides
For starters, craft Igknights; all their pendulum cards are R & N rarity, and you will get the hang of Pends with them; it's even more easy nowadays since links exists (So no need to care that much about lvl, buy bodies on field)
They run out of resources fast, but IMO, is a nice way to start getting used to Pends
I got a build that can ftk otk easy trif over extends alot
faviorite era was probably when i started getting into yugioh, which was in the Zexal era. the xyz material mechanic introduced me to such cool archtypes like burning abyss using tourguide and dante, to traptrix using the familiar bottomless trap hole. playing duel masters, the first deck i made was traptrix, which coincidently had a new link monster. Its just fun to play a familiar deck and get back into yugioh again.
More like he got bored of watching his opponent take 20 minutes to set up his FIRST main phase
I would too. In the time he did all that, I could make a sandwich, go to the bathroom, take a shower and solve world hunger.
YUGIOH IS SO PAY TO WIN.!
Not really u can play budget cards and still do really well tbh if u were smart u would know that
My favorite era (so far) is the original.
My favourite era was when right when 5ds came out because I loved watching that show on TV.
Fuccin love Pendulums, jus built this and i get the combos now 🙏 love it
That's really kool that you give giveaways like that. Watched a few of your videos with the best ranked duelist in the world. Good stuff!
My favorite Era was the classic Era. But right when the Kaiba tournament started. Great times
I love the OG era cause that’s what I grew up watching and it’s just my favorite. Best part is the summing of the Egyptian God cards
I've never mashed the subscribe button so this hard in my life
The original yugioh DM will always be my favourite because it’s full of iconic characters and cards and was the series I grew up with
My favorite era is ABC’s.
Thanks for the tips. That Triff cameo was cool
As much as I still have love for the game. I still remember buying boosters of Magic Ruler an Legend of the BlueEyes. It’s just mind boggling how anybody finds joy in the way the game is played these days.
@9:10 hahaha im sorry yugi..........
that comment burnt a whole in my memories
The guy who's first hand is all the pieces of exodia:
His dad: we got the cops outside
The guy: Lock up the house!
My favorite Yugioh Era was 5ds, because was the first time they introduced a new card type : Sincro, since then Sincro decks are my favorites, now on master duel im playing Adamancipator and building Infernoble Knights because they look amazing
The OG Yu Gi Oh, early 2000s cartoons will always hit different for me
I really love the era with the Synchro decks. It's easy to get used to since I played the Tag Force games on the PSP
My favorite era of yu-gi-oh was the duel academy arcs
For me in case of the Anime it is The Legendary Dragons ark from Duel Monsters against dartz and in the TCG it was was 2009 to 2011 Blackwings all the way till Inzektors. This was the time i mostly played.
Hands down master duel is the new era of yugoih evolution 🙌 so blessed to be apart of it
i just downloaded and i'm lost with it, I'm a big fan of original Yugioh and i remember a little GX, new versions were boring to watch so all those tuners synchros and 10 monsters per turn is totally new for me and i have no idea how to deal with it lmao
Been havin fun with master duel n classic was my fav era jus brings me bac to being a kid
My favorite era is the classic, when i watched it as a kid,it made me fall in love with the game and still am.
Hell yeah I agree. This new stuff has ruined the game
gotta say my favorite era of yugioh would be the original series, its what i grew up on and it kept the game simple.
My favorite yugioh era was the fusion era. I tried so hard to build a hero deck just to imitate Judai (Jaden)
I remembered I traded all of my dragon monsters just to get a copy of E.
90s era yugioh is my favorite. [OCG]
All these variations are a pain in the ass to learn all at once. 🤯🤯😅
I’m dying over here 😭
Favorite era is The OG loved how simple everything was! Much love 🤘🏽
It dose work mate been using it to ftk and otk people for 2 days
2000’s era. Brings me straight to my childhood when I see an old card.
Gotta say that my favorite era was the classic, only because it brings back a lot of memories of me playing with my cousins, such an happy time
First season was great, it had everything. Big wins, the loss of exodius and a great tournament arc. Highlight of my childhood
And pharaoh destroying the moon
(I'm new to this channel so if all of that came off super awkward then I apologize >
my favorite yugioh Era was Arc-V not just because my boy yuya made up a game mechanic when he was losing but because it had some of the most 5head, epic, summons from fusions to synchro to xyz. he even slapped pendulum effects on extra deck monsters like a chad
Imagine not getting negated every game when u're first turn and have a hand that can't ftk if negated. Couldn't imagine sadly.
My favorite Era of YugiOh was probably GX, maybe as a mix of Nostalgia and getting to see new stuff cuz the original YuGiOh was cool but my own interest as a child in the game peaked around then and I liked how they introduced these new Themes and had a whole academy just built around dueling, I guess it was an interesting mirror of school life
My favourite era by a country mile is 5D’s. Loved watching yusei take down the dark signers, seeing their marks glow. Let’s Rev It Up!!!!
