      @@XXLRebel Because it's 800lbs. I can't speak from experience but I imagine bailing becomes more difficult at higher weight. Not to mention every other possible problem. What if he fell forward? What if he tore a muscle? What if he blacked out?

      @@XXLRebel I personally don't practice bailing my squats. Usually squatting in a rack or with submax weight. If I can't squat it and haven't practiced it, flight or fight kinda kicks in. I think I've missed 1 or 2 squats unexpectedly and put the bar on the safeties. Not really a place to bail in a regular ass gym either.

Plus he's not one of those people that loads way too much weight to the point they start shaking and turning red from even walking the weight out. Those are the people that tear muscles or black out.

      @creatine addict Which is something that aggravates me in normal gyms. When you see people doing anything in the triple digits GET THE FUCK away from them,my gym squat rack is essentially in the most crowded part and if you try to push heavy into the low rep range and fail you are essentially gnna get injured to not dumb the weight on someone behind you and kill them.

      @@giorgosnikolaidis374 Exactly. My gym is a pretty tight fit around the squat racks, and so many times I've been mid set with like 180kg or something and gym noobies would be trying to squeeze past less than a foot away to grab a weight.

    I failed a bench today sans spotter and it was awful… but sometimes that’s just what you gotta do. Spotter or no I like to go full grind. Respect ✊ Shane. Flawless bail.

    If you look closely behind you your gym provides squat racks with built in safety bars that have an adjustable height so that the bar cannot crush you and you don't have to risk your knees bailing

      You are oh so correct I like to refer people to a man named Jean Pierre Fox who blew his right knee out while squatting inside of a power rack and then during the fall because there was no bars to protect him he blew out his left knee as well he probably would have won the Mr Olympia the next year or at least say finished in the top three and instead nobody knows about him anymore

    For those teens watching…never attempt this ever. And definitely never emulate his form. Someday he’ll say “what for”. When exercising think “long term”. Balance bodybuilding, weightlifting and powerlifting with excellent form, patience, yoga, lots and lots of stretching, foam rolling, percussion, ice baths, pressure point therapy, joint manipulation, and no “roids”. You can thank me later!

    I don't even like to call them failures. The attempt and the bail both increase strength and endurance. With each attempt, you will be closer to pushing it up because of the previous attempt. It's just another step in the progressive gain. Great job, this is incredible!

    Só por causa de uma série, um movimento, um agachamento e um exercício você pode passar 80 anos da sua vida em uma cama sem os movimentos do seu corpo ou com lesões no seu corpo (tipo, nas pernas) que te impossibilitarão pra sempre de fazer esses agachamentos e qualquer outra atividade física que você goste e queira, e, isso, só porque você não quis usar uma simples e devida proteção que não te faz menos forte, "que não tira o seu mérito em nada no seu exercício"...
    Você deu uma má demonstração pras pessoas, deu mau exemplo...

    Flawlessly done, this is a crucial skill to have in every lift. To bail out of a bench press you can opt to leave the clips off the bar so if you cant get it back up you can dump the plates off to either side provided you're on a permitting surface.

    Crazy to see the proportions this guy has, massive upper body and torso. I think it makes such a difference with these big weights, same reason gaining weight to a certain point makes you lift more. It's crazy most people would never be able to control this weight on the way down regardless what they train or take.
