In general over RUclips, I’d like to see more b-roll of the actual products than one person talking about the products. Gets me forwarding pretty much. Thanks for a good channel.

Love the fact you cover higher end gear. Not alot of coverage on 10k+ gear, unless it’s ultra high end. 7k-20k is stuff thats most interesting to me.

Great review! Great channel! Keep on keepin' on. Your understanding of the two nearest competitors, Magico A3 and SF Maixima Amator, speaks volumes.

Really nice review. I’m surprised you found them bright. I’ve not heard that be a typical description of YG speakers. Rooms and ears are all different though. I think the Peak series is a great one. Thanks for reviewing this for your viewers.

When YG and I initially started talking they asked about my room and the treatment in it. They were originally concerned given the smaller size of an overly bright experience, but those fears were calmed by the amount of treatment I do have. These are really a highly resolving pair of speakers

It is interesting to watch videos of people with a different taste on sound presentation as this kind of speaker really wouldn't have been on my radar, just like the high end Focals.. Cool! Also interesting is that I know few people who listen to metal on high end equipment (for me it's more (symphonic) black metal and gothic metal). Especially to bring the atmosphere forward properly.. Especially in black metal for me.. Nice! Looking forward to more videos!

Any favorites? Love symphonic stuff. I like Slumber Comes in Time by Zornheim as a test track

@@HiFiTurtle On the gothic metal side: the older album Mother Earth by Within Temptation. Still great (Ice Queen f.i.). A Touch In The Dark album by Asrai (perhaps more gothic rock?). A whole bunch of stuff from Nightwish.. But also the album Comalies by Lacuna Coil..
On the black metal side, one of my all time favorites still is Where Dead Angels Lie by Dissection, A Moment In Valhalla by Thyrfing (perhaps Viking metal?), the album Ur Jordens Djup by Finntroll (audio side is quite good too!), the live album Forces Of The Northern Night by Dimmu Borgir (as they said: "Unbelievable that we actually got live performances with a classical orchestra AND a real choir. The pinnacle of our careers". And albums by Naglfar, Graveworm, Anorexia Nervosa, older albums by Cradle of Filth, but also new stuff from ...and Oceans...
And yes, I know, just about everything is Scandinavian.. Lacuna is from Italy, Within and Asrai from the Netherlands and Anorexia from France...
Now I'm curious: do you have some cool tips?
Also, some weird piece of research: they wondered whether there was a type of music most connected with people with a very high IQ. Turned out it actually was black metal (I think in North America mostly called Extreme metal).. Don't know whether that's true, but still.. 😅

Love some Nightwish and Dimmu. I can't recommend the whole album but the first half of Blackbraid II is something to behold. Really enjoy some Spectral Wound, Ethereal Shroud, Stormkeep, Zeal & Ardor, and quite a few more. In America at least that Im familiar with extreme metal covers all black & death metal. Some hardcore too like Knocked Loose. But I would certainly break it out into black, death, and all the sub genres that come with that.
