- In this video I take you through clips of the drops. It is important to note that this was done on offline mode with the ability to manipulate the time/date to fore specific terror zones. This is only to test out and compare various terror zones. Also very important to note is I started at character lvl 84 and finished at lvl 92. The TC87(treasure class 87) drops increased DRASTICALLY when I hit lvl 91 which I talk about and document.

It is refreshing to see someone getting excited when tc87 items drop even if they are not unique. Keep it on and dont get burned out doing this 100k runs thingy.
I appreciate you saying that cuz I didn't know if it was just annoying lol. But I am not mentioning magic or rare TC87s in the next 1,000 trav runs I am working on. I think I made my point and will let the uniques speak for themselves. 70 clips to add narration took 12+ hours lol.

Oh shit I went too fast lol. But yeah I have better ones. I wouldn't have thrown that out if I noticed. I crafted a 6/11 dual leech recently. Best dual leech ring I ever had.

I started a Nova Sorc about a month, maybe 3 weeks ago. (1st char this season, took a couple years off; have no accrued wealth on the forbidden site.) Running mainly with the things I've found while doing runs, I've managed to get a lot of decent items. Found a perfectly rolled Shako running Arcane during a public Baal run, VMagi on normal from the Yeti that guards Anya, other uniques and basic rune words etc.
Then yesterday while running solo and not TZ, I decided to attempt Chaos with my squishy little, non-Infinity wielding, non-sunder using char, and found a Jah off one of the named ghost mobs (not Vizier but coincidentally, mob was near left side of Chaos). My jaw dropped! I've never found higher than a Gul rune but then again I don't usually farm anywhere from A3-A5 because it's hard to kill the immunes without the powerful end game gear.
Not lying, maybe an hour later, different game, still playing solo, I added a Pindle run in while I was farming Dkeys off Nihlathak, one of his Minions dropped a 2nd Jah. I couldn't frigging believe it. I'm positive I won't find anything good for a month now lol.
I just can't wait until I can build a hammerdin and safely run Trav/CS so I can farm where Vex+ reliably drop and then fine tune the rest of my toons.

Hi Blake, thanks for your videos, they are awesome! Thanks to you I started farming terrorized Andariel and have seen some epic drops! (like Windforce and IK Sacred Armor in the first 15 minutes of farming!). However, given the improved drops of Andariel, I think that other bosses, particularly Mephisto, should also have much better drops, but it’s just not the case. I farmed terrorized Mephisto around 100 times on Players 3 (character lvl 91-92 I think) but not a single TC87 base dropped. Drops looked similar to what the regular Mephisto drops. I don’t understand it. Terrorized Duriel’s drop are a bit better (he did drop me a unique Thunder Maul) but still doesn't compare to Andariel’s epic drops. Keep up the good work!
Mephisto's treasure class is bugged and has been for a while. He only drops from desecrated a which rolls tc87 once instead of twice. Need Blizzard to patch it.

Trav has always been my favourite to run. i have found 3 sojs there.
I know this is a very late response but I have always loved trav for sojs+HRS. I found 3 sojs there in a few months. After Andy it is my second favorite SOJ farming location
Good to know something changes around lvl 91. Been grinding TZs since lvl 84 on HC and had little luck, it's not that 87 items don't drop, they do, but somehow less. I wonder if they roll from a different loot table since 91.
I’m guessing the loot table is sort of similar to gambling in how it’s something like the ilvl of whatever you’re gambling is within 6 levels of your character. That’s why people gamble for circlets and stuff at level 93 because ilvl 87+ circlet class items can get +2 skills and 20% FCR plus any of the mods in the game I’m pretty sure.
Since the TZ level is always 2 levels higher than your character, level 91 makes monsters 93, meaning every item they drop should be ilvl87+
@@realSAPERE_AUDE Always though that it depends on the level of the mob and lvl 87+ monster should drop tc87 loot. 91 - 5 = 86, so it's Pindleskin territory.

I read somewhere that the TC87 loot table rolls 3 times at lvl 91 instead of rolling 1 time. I do not know where I read it and cant find evidence. But I absolutely notice the change at lvl 91.
@@andreychetvertakov4574 I think it’s just that the ilvl of an item drop is determined by the monster’s level +/- 6 levels. If the monster is lvl 93, the lowest ilvl you can get from that monster is 87
Edit: which doesn’t mean every item that’s ilvl87 is going to be in an elite armor/weapon type. It just means the properties that can roll on the item can be any that are possible in the game.
At mlvl 93 monsters have a desecrated treasure class that rolls tc87 weapons and armors twice. This means you need to be level 91 for council members to double dip. Act bosses like Andy get +5 levels so you would only need to be level 88 for example.

Only 1 HR? Damn man unluckers. From 250 runs P1 ladder I got Ohm, Ist, Mal, Vex. Item find zerker ofc though. Double the drops.
Question:
Do you not pick up rare gloves and boots and belts? Or do they not make it on the video?
At least on SoftCore these items can fetch a fortune from the richest of all players - pvp community. Some are really good for pvm too (think tri-res boots). I am not sure it is worth the time in single player, was merely curious of your opinion on it. Thank you!
I wouldn't suppose he does, since he id's set rings. One of the few nuance tells when figuring out if someone understands the value of items

Well, gg rare belts are very very rare and are mostly used for pvp, not pvm where arach is king.
Anyhow... Back then I was lacking such understanding :)
I know this is a very late response. I missed a lot more msgs than I realized and am responding to them all now. After learning how to shop for 3/20's I stopped picking up rare gloves. I don't think it is worth the time when considering the HR's and other goodies that time costs in the long run. On battlenet I most certainly would not waste my time with that garbage. Speed is everything.
How did you get a torch as a hammerdin? I just started my single player journey
I got a torch as a smiter. Not as a hammerdin. Its not hard to do in single player. I did it incredibly well with a spirit shield. I used dracs grasp for life tap, grief because the +350-400 damage ads on to smite and is wicked, Guillame's(with 15 all res jewel or Um) for the crushing blow and also COH is the best armor. Mephisto has 125% conviction so you need an extra 125% light res over your max. That is partially why COH is awesome. I know that sounds a little expensive but i dont die at all with that gear. Maras, raven, and whatever else. Don't even need a whisp with all the extra light res.
You dont have CTA? How do you get over 3K life (which drops to 2K back in town) then?

11:13 how would you be able to see the battle command wear off?
I know this is a very late response but I just saw your msg. If the battle command and battle orders are the same level then they will last the same duration. But if battle command is a lower level then the yellow visual around the feet will disappear before the blue visual for battle orders. This serves as a warning that battle orders is about to disappear.
Does anybody know whether changing the time in console works as well to keep a special tz? Was trying it on Xbox what did not work. As a casual player this would be awesome…

@@GrowWithTrung yeah I am on Single player but how is it supposed to work. When I change the time of my console nothing happens - the terror zone stays the same no matter what time zone I choose.
@@niquele85 Change the date time not the time zone. Like its now 7:53 in my local time. I change it to 8:00 to roll new tzone.

idk, doing trav on anything but a horker would make me feel like i'm potentially missing something, out of all the high runes I got off trav, 70% of them, have been off horks.
I started doing trav runs with a nova sorc and its twice as fast as a horker. Horking takes too long and WW takes too long. I probably won't do trav runs again with anyone else. I cast like 3 novas and they all die on P3. I use macros to exit games and create new ones and my computer is fast so i can literally get to town just as fast by creating a new game as making a tp

Meph doesnt compare to Andy from my limited experience. Meph is a single kill also. Its nice killing andy cuz other monsters die and drop stuff.

Lol, well he started out with duriels shell instead of fortitude. Also when I rerolled the map to change the location of the council he did a lot better. I resurrected him many many times. Before fortitude I didnt use merc mostly cuz I got tired of resurrecting. He did great in the end. If conviction aura hits him then fire hydras kill him. If they have fantascism and might auras simultaneously then i gotta protect his dumb ass completely lol.

which TZ is the best for high runes lately?
TZ does not increase rune drop frequency. It may allow higher runes to drop in lower areas but not at more frequent rates. The odds of a rune rolling Ber or Jah is the same everytime a rune drops in a mlvl 85+ area including TZ. Super chests is an exception to that rule. Basically farm the same places that have always been good for high runes like travincal and cows. If u can clear an area that already drops all runes faster not being terrorized then you can find runes faster not terrorized. Terrorized Zones are only good for TC87s, sunder charms and experience, not runes

When you play single-player and you already have multiple 40% gheeds and perfect sunders you stop picking them up. I even stopped picking up unique amulets after the 3rd perfect maras

It can fetch 3-4 Shakos at early ladder reset. Probably the most expensive item. Maybe just under Griffons value. (applicable to ladder reset only)

I know this is a late response but quest bugged TZ andariel had or has bypassed the treasure classes for better drops. Its is better to not be bugged when terrorized (unless something changed since the last patch)

I still don't quite believe that your ideas about Griffon's drop rates from Andy (and now Trav) are accurate. I think you either got extremely, amazingly and magnificently lucky, or you modified your game files (not accusing you, just listing the possibilities I can think of), or there's something to the idea that things like the map-seed are a big influence on the drop rates of certain items.
I've been farming TZ Trav and Catacombs any time I catch them since TZs came to SP (with my 94 Blizz Sorc and 92 WW Horker, respectively). I don't see an unexpected amount of Diadems, let alone a Griffon's. Feels no different than farming any other TZ.
I would have to go back and test to see how lucky I got. But no not modified. My second 1000 travincal runs I found like 1 tc87 unique so yeah i got lucky the first 1000 there. Many people said they had the same luck as me with Andy. TZ Andy is special. Best chances of Maras according to maxroll and I found a bunch there. Something about the type of treasures she drops that makes her terrorized drops better. Like she drops more unique rings and amulets than any other boss. Adding maras to that amulet roll is nice.
I just did TZ cows from lvl 95-97.5. it was about 300 games. Only steelrend and gargoyales bite for tc87s. Cows is not a place to get better drops from terrorized.
Im on run 563 in catacombs and found 7 unique tc87s so far(p3, 183mf) Several magic and set diadems. Ive seen about 4 magic diadems at tz trav in the past 1000 runs. I only had 30mf in trav so that could have cost me a griffons.
