I need some advice. I started swimming this summer and I’m 13. I was able to swim pretty well I guess at least that’s what my coaches said. I’m going to try year round swimming for 2 weeks and my mom really wants me to join but I don’t want to. I’m so nervous and I feel like year round swimming would just be too big of a commitment. What do I do?
Janey bear Definitely try it! I am still young (younger than you) and I love swimming competitively! I started when I was 6, with lots of competition,but still loved it! Swimming is great for your health and if you try it 1 year and end up not liking it, you can try something else. It’s just a sport not a huge life changing decision.
