I think everyone can agree after seeing all his Olympics interviews Scott really deserves not only a raise but a big promotion! Showing the media how to have genuine conversations in their interviews and really allow the athletes to shine! You can see that Katie really enjoyed the interview - loved her giving him the medal to wear :)

Katie Ledecky is 100% correct: this guy deserves a gold medal for interviewing. He brings out the best in everyone he interviews, helping them feel relaxed and at ease. You really get a sense of her personality. So many hearts to this. 💜💜💜💜

I agree. When I first saw this video I was like urrhhh gonna be 12 minutes. But the interviewer's charismatic, friendly, genuine and engaging personality helped make this 12 minutes so interesting and relaxing. Of course thx to Katie for being so fun and having a humor too.

he helped her feel at ease and joke a lot. Good sense of humor she has. Didn't take herself too seriously. Loves to share her joy with others, in and out of the pool. She sounds very generous, in many ways. Her swimming for Team USA at the Olympics, showing her medals to people, and granting so many interviews, is her way of sharing her joy with the world.
Scott's interviews are amazing - just probing enough to get interesting answers and he actually listens and asks follow up questions and gives them the space to talk without cutting them off... SO much better than interviewers who talk to them like they're 5 and cheerlead them the whole time.
This guy is awesome, they are so at ease with him and they talk to him like it is just a normal conversation!
These interviews with Scott have been great!!!!!!!! I'm having fun WATCHING them, I'm sure the athletes are having fun and welcome the break from the more formal interviews with everyone else. This still gets the job done in a better format! Great job, Scott! ❤

Katie Ledecky is an outstanding athlete. She is not arrogant and that's why I respect her so much. Her and Ariarne Titmus have a friendly rivalry in the pool. And plus this interview was so much fun to watch this guy is so funny and entertaining.
Our Arnie did a great job to beat Katie. But that's the great thing about Katie, she's an inspiration and great motivation to people all over the world. I can't wait to see them swim against each other again in Paris.

Katie’s so incredible! And so is Scott, going from question to question and really engaging her in a conversation! She was cool with the two NFL guys, too, but Scott really thought out some good questions (which I also wanted to hear-a rarity!). So, a big THANKS!!!
I actually kinda like this type of interview. Just friendly and genuine, not serious like other news agencies. Even Katie was having a very good time, same goes to that interviewer, I dont know his name, but shoutout to him. I think he needs a higher pay. Katie was also just having fun and telling stories. Congrats Katie on winning more medals and still being the greatest female Olympic swimmer.

I do not know what kind of interviewer you are used to, but to me it’s a normal interview, good, but what I’m used to see. Maybe because of the down to earth mentality/culture of The Netherlands but I guess it’s just what you have grown up into.
