Pete is the best proof that no matter what geat you use, most importaint is how you play. If you are good musician, almost every gear sound awesome. Second thing is to have something to say with music and that is recepee to achive success. Unfortunately many people forget about what music is all about.
Songwriter's dream dirt box????! Thanks Pete!
Thanks Pete! Amazing sound sir!
Totally heard somewhere between Scott Weiland and Myles Kennedy vocals on that opening tune... would love to hear that come to life
Chase Bliss pedals are the jam!
Great demo, Pete. As always. Cool pedal too.
Dang Pete, that intro was nuts, in a very good way.Great review.
Thanks!!!
Very nice Pete!!!
alright pete! keep on rockin brother!
For anyone that wasn't paying attention to the close ups. The reason the A and B section sound different if the that they are 2 diff types of circuit. A side is JFET and B side is IC chip
Breaking out the Les Paul!! Rock out!
Hey Pete, this Gibson sound amazing and great pedal !
Love my Brothers... Took me about a year to even have the guts to start tweaking. The manual has tons of great settings, too. Cool vid!
Thanks!
Whoa...crazy, amazing opening track! You must be listening to John 5 lately. Very cool pedal and excellent demo as always. Thank you!
out of stock .. lol
Gee how could that have happened ??
Great demo Pete thanks thats quite a versatile pedal all in one..
and ITS GOLD....
Guitar God!
Brother from another mother. Every time I see a Pete Thorn demo my wallet gets a little leaner.
Holy guacamole - well that introduction was just spectacular. Dang. There is a reason you get asked to demos - I don’t think they could have gotten a better representation of the possibilities of the pedal. Great production, great audio, great dialogue and top shelf playing. Thanks I am now looking for one of these... my wallet does not thank you!
Did you end up getting one? 3 years on do you still use it? Curious as I am where you were 3 years ago
@@drdre4397 I went around and around on buying one but ultimately ended up not getting one ... not exactly a replacement but in my rig ended up adding a Hudson Broadcast 2 button for my more fuzzy tones along with some other drives. Still wish I'd tried one.
Tasty pedal, but out of my price range. Thanks Pete.
How can one afford to step on this beautiful pedal :3
Switched to helix a year ago, have had no desire to buy new pedals. I still come here for the amazing playing. Rock on!
Love this! Who's song is that??? Yours?????? FANTASTIC!!! I wanna buy it!!! Name please?
I keep looking for a better but more straightforward pedal. I have as of yet to find one that can offer this range of tones. I love it! Keeping mine till something better can beat it.
"better"... I misspoke. A "comparable" but less involved pedal. Anyway, I love this pedal.
Great test man!!
FIRST QUESTION: I’m planning to purchase this pedal as a unique drive/dist for my compact pedalboard, using it through a midi box and midi looper switch. Is it a satisfacory solution if the goal is having a wide range of tones and being able to nail some classic dirty sounds?
SECOND QUESTION: I play a tele and a vox ac 30 6tb. Have anybody tried if it pairs well with the vox?
Thanks!
I demo'ed this for about 30 min at a guitar store- classic USA Tele into an AC 30 w/top boost. Sounded killer. I liked the OD better than the fuzz with this config. I use this as a swiss army knife gain stage in my midi switch/loop rig. Most commonly it's boost on the right, OD on the left, right to left routing with the toggle. OD is just on the edge of breakup, with boost pushing it over the edge. I also use the boost on its own for clean tremolo picked lines with a lot of delay and reverb. Cuts through the mix in a huge way. I considered going wet/dry/wet with two amps but this does the job fine with one. Being able to toggle the routing on the fly with MIDI is huge. Saves a ton of space on your board. Tastes and prefs with dirt/gain pedals vary widely, so this pedal doesn't do EVERYTHING, like I prefer my EQD Hoof better for big trebly fuzz akin to early Smashing Pumpkins stuff, but it's great for blues lawyer fuzz tones if that's your bag. 8.2/10 Pitchfork rating for this pedal. Thanks for coming to my Pete talk. Please like and subscribe \m/
Wish this was in a wide box
Great Demo PT, Neat Pedal, Great intro Music!! HQ Tones, I esp like the name "Brothers"... makes me wanna buy one for my Best Friend! Cheers!!
Thank u!
second!
Are this the standard lp custom pick ups or did you change them? Sound rather sick!
Thornbuckers!
@@PeteThorn nice man they sound awesome!!
Hey, can you achieve high gain metal tones with this pedal?
Not really. The closest you’ll get is from the fuzz circuit but it’s more grungy not metal.
Hey Pete thorn
Heya Keith!
How did they fit all that in there? 😱
Andre Ribeiro I’d like to see the inside of one of their pedals.
First!!!! Hehe
Almost too many options -- crazy.
Not good enough Pete. You need to show us every possible option in that pedal. Or you know..... Internet
😂
Great demo as always Pete! That’s a killer LP Custom too.
I seem to be in the minority here but I just don’t care for the tones this pedal produces. Every demo I’ve listened to confirms it for me, it sounds bland & uninspiring. I like other Chase Bliss stuff & I really love the story behind the company but this one just ain’t for me.
