Just took a chance on the Nero and it’s now got a spot on my board. It a great way to get a fuzz and fat distortion all in one pedal space. Great pedal guys.
Damn Pete, you sound so good! Great demo, I am definitely adding this to my shopping list. Cornerstone makes great pedals, I have the Gladio dual boost pedal that I love. This is a must have for me!
Most Awesome Fuzz!! I really can tell the compressor in the mix and it sounds totally different than any other FUZZ, got to find out more Info & the Song was Awesome too PETE THORN 🤘🎸🤠
Its a bucket list thing for me to own a Suhr guitar. Missed this guy when he was in Newfoundland. Play the Iceberg Alley festival next time. Seems like your kinda scene. Best venue ever.
Brother I finally got guitar nerd cd. These releases deserve a hi fidelity playback. Now hopefully one day I’ll find P.T. 2 I can hear the difference between streaming and Cd My friends tell me I can’t but I can. Your compositions are so original and well done. Keep on keeping on 👍🏻
Pete this is awesome. what is that little lick you do at the point where there is 4:07 seconds left. These cool little articulated chords on the upper strings.
man youre just the sickest guitarist i swear to god .. if im ever gonna get a guitar teacher again i hope theres a course out there with your name on it. \m/ greetings from denmark
WHat do you think the compression knob is exactly? It's not an actual compressor, is it? Is it just changing the headroom into the circuit, or something like that?
I can help you with this, as Pete said: the Nero is made up of two circuits, the fuzz circuit followed by an entire Gladio SC. The compression knob here is exactly the "clean" control of the Gladio SC, but it's not called clean anymore here because there's a fuzz in front of the Gladio circuit. So why did I call it compression? Because of how that knob works within the Gladio circuit, which is like a parallel mix. In other words: When the comp control is set all the way UP (max compression), you're forcing all of the sound coming out from the fuzz, to travel into the Gladio circuit. The more you lower the comp, the more fuzz sound is allowed to "bypass" the Gladio and go straight to the output, while (also) going into the Gladio. So: - When the comp is at max, the sound you have at the output is: FUZZ + Gladio SC - When the comp is at minimum, the sound you have at the output is: (FUZZ + Gladio SC) in parallel with (FUZZ only) Hope this helps :)
Another savage face melting intro….🫠. And the pedal seems pretty cool too, although I’m starting to think if you were to plug a guitar into Lite-Brite and mic it up just right, you’d make it sound like a Trainwerck Express. Lol
Very cool pedal... WICKED sounds and riffage! Looking forward to hearing more like this on Guitar Nerd Tres! 😎🤘🎸
This little box sounds very good and your guitar playing is great.
That's cool that they put their Gladio gain stage/preamp in it. That's kinda unique.

❤ thanks!!
hot diggity! that's some crazy riffing at the beginning!
I was getting a Dregs vibe from that one Pete! Awesome!

Amazing playing once again. With a little van halen wail at the end to top it all off
Sounds great! Seems like a very low-maintenance, but high-performance fuzz! Will have to check it out! Thanks, Pete!
Damn!! The opening toon needs to be on your next album Pete!!
The Nero sounds great on electric! Excellent video! I would love to hear this pedal on a bass.
That tune's a keeper for the next album!
Most Awesome Fuzz!! I really can tell the compressor in the mix and it sounds totally different than any other FUZZ, got to find out more Info & the Song was Awesome too PETE THORN 🤘🎸🤠
Killer stuff Pete... as always
awesome color on that strat
1:15 lol just so good!
Very cool sounding pedal! Jeff Macerlain just had the designer on his channel in the last couple weeks to review it. Killer demo Pete!
Thanks!

That sounds like a Soldano at the beginning.Another killer song.
My word, that's tasty. You continue to impress and inspire! Thanks for just being yourself, you're a great player and a good person.
Thank u!
@Pete could make a stick and box kick ass … well done sir with the #cornerstone #nero #fuzz
I don't usually reply but that's pretty bad ass playing Pete! About 3 hit song grooves on that jam bro! ❤
Thank you!

Crunchy gain w/ a little of that crackle of a pushed power amp. sweet 😁

I think hark and harkens are okay 👍🏻
Nice pedal and awesome playing Pete!
Hark! I hear the sound of the next Pete Thorn album from on yonder hills.

@@cornerstonegear It does help. Thanks so much! That's incredibly flexible.
@@musicmann1967 thanks!! Let me know if you have any other questions 😉
I was going to answer but then I saw cornerstone already did! :)

That playing is ultra saucy. Damn fine I must say. ✌️🎸✌️
Thanks!
I would have liked to have heard it with the EMGs
How does he keep all those great ideas coming?
Wow! That was such incredibly clever guitar playing! Don’t know how you keep it coming like that…
Thank you!
You're insane PT 🤘
What make is the Explorer in the background?
Another of Pete bitchin' intro!! Can't get enough of your playing man!!
🤘😈🤘
Pete way over that Nashville guy
what a guitar player this guy is... never mind the pedal!!!
What a player - you are supposed to be out on the road not selling pedals.
Awesome demo, but I don't like fuzz lol
People either love it or hate it it seems!! That's the nature of fuzz...
Fuzzes tend to easily fall into a mix in general. To me that's a strength of a fuzz
El Fuzz es gusto adquirido, una vez que lo pruebas (y das con el adecuado), No hay vuelta atrás...
Sorry Pete. Ur music and playing are more interesting than the gear.
