Gotten back into skating the past 2 months, and decided to order a real wood fingerboard to play around with and thinking about starting to make ramps and shit for myself! I think that will be alot of fun
at walmart there's a little $7 universal screw driver set with a bunch of different bits and it's a life saver i got some dynamic knock offs that didnt have threaded baseplates and i couldn't get the screw to make threads till i went and bought it and the philips bit is perfect size to bore tape out for screw holes
I was actually about to cop the last lune deck on the site earlier this week lol. Heard good things about it so far. May have to go pull the trigger on it now lol
i feel this man 😭it's unreal how much mini skateboard parts cost compared to actual skateboard parts. i've been using Teak Tuning gear for the better part of last year and had little to no issues at all, but i am starting to branch out into more professional hardware/gear to see how big of a difference it makes! if you want advice on cheaper but good parts, here's what I'd go for: Teak Tuning Prodigy Swerve Trucks Teak Tuning Apex New Street OR Apex Slim Bowl Wheels The deck itself doesn't matter all that much, but I use a real-wear graphic from Teak. I just ordered a new deck from Slushcult as well as Dynamic trucks to see the difference, but I plan on using my Teak wheels because they really are good!
Bro I thought this comment was just a total exaggeration but I looked up parts and what the FUCK. I get that it's very precise, custom-made bits but no fucking way should a fingerboard cost as much as a real setup...
yo i just got reintroduced to fingerboarding recently and thought the same thing. i got a complete LC board for 22 bucks with shipping. now it may not be the top top of the line but it’s 100x better than a tech deck and a good base to branch off of

I really want to shell out for a nice fingerboard but I just can’t bring myself to pay more money for fingerboard parts compared to real skate parts.
