  • Do you have a nagging suspicion you will always be mediocre? This is why. (Spoiler alert: it's not your fault)
One. You are conditioned to work for others.
Two. You aren't trained to push against delayed gratification.
    Three. You have massive self-doubt.
    Four. The journey is lonely.
To get more out of your life, head over to...

I like this video. Have you ever read "How to Drop Out" by Ran Prieur? To summarize the short text, the author found his job as a warehouse worker to be demeaning so he quit, and slowly decided to drop out of society. This meant buying less things, occasionally needing to squat, and getting used to this way of life. While on the surface he might have been seen as a homeless person, for him he got to enjoy a life of relative freedom in which he had autonomy over how he spent his time.

Sometimes that patience in discipline of doing small steps each day is harder than trying to make 8 hours of hardcore work/study/learning and then don't do it again days, weeks or months later.
It sucks being so negative, some people (myself included) has a talent to make yourself your worst enemy. But I guess the only solution is keep going and keep trying. If that's not enough, maybe it's a good idea to look for external professional help like a shrink. It's also important to realize that if you need help, you have to ask for it.
Thank you for your video, sometimes I forget that small steps every day are better than huge spikes done sporadically.

    Really?
I always saw it as learning how to learn
And learning how to love learning to make a life I loved.
But then, I came from a crap*y background with no one telling me what to do not caring what I do…
I guess I’m thankful for a childhood that taught me to be self-directed, given the alternative presented in this video 😊

There's nothing wrong with learning mathematics, physics, maps, and history of certain cultures. As humans, it is valuable to learn about the world, not just stuff that is "useful." The content on the channel does present helpful perspectives. However, please don't think learning about the world is a waste.

@@DeborahJBI don’t think that’s what he meant at all.I’m sure he means the system and not learning as a whole.

How did you know that I've decided to build a RUclips channel with 100,000 subscribers? Are you a mind-reader? xD This is exactly what I mentioned in my very first video on Godot Game engine in my channel. I said, "Face Reveal on 100,000 subz. THINK BIG DUDE!"
Awesome content. Great Wisdom. I love your channel.

I rarely comment on RUclips videos and find most self-help advice hard to apply. Having said that, I’ve been bingeing your content and LOVE everything you have spoken about. I’m on this path now, the path of self-discovery and working for myself and my goals, and it is HARD. But, once you’ve taken the red pill, there’s no going back 🤍 Please keep making videos, you’re incredibly inspiring to me.
