Henry is a member of the legendary Kpop boy group Super Junior-M, as well as a solo artist. He is considered a music genius. He was classically trained in violin and piano since the age of 6 and he had plans to go to college to study classical music. But the year he graduated high school he auditioned for the largest and most well-known Korean entertainment company, SM Entertainment, when they held auditions in Canada and he impressed them so much with his violin dance routine that they signed him right away. (After joining SM and debuting with SJM he did end up going to college. He got a full-ride scholarship to Berklee School of Music in New York and he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in music.) He was one of the Kpop industry's very first foreign/non-Korean artists, and he only trained for about a year before he debuted in Super Junior -- and that was only because he needed to learn Korean and become more proficient in Mandarin. He debuted in Korea in 2008, so he has been a famous musician, artist, entertainer, producer, actor, etc. for more than 15 years now. Henry now owns his own independent music production company -- Monster Entertainment Group -- so he does all the recording, remastering and production himself. Everything you see and hear is 100% Henry. He is Chinese/Taiwanese-Canadian -- his dad is from Hong Kong, his mom is from Taiwan and he was born and raised in Canada -- and he can play almost any instrument. He really is a music genius. Henry speaks 4 languages fluently -- English, Korean, Mandarin and Cantonese -- and he speaks numerous other languages moderately well. He works really hard to speak to fans in their native language so he has learned a lot of languages over the past 15 years. Super Junior-M was the Mandarin Chinese sub-unit of Super Junior, which created songs in Mandarin and promoted in China. This group was one of the very first Kpop groups made up of both Korean and Chinese members to become famous in China. Which is one reason why Henry is such a big deal internationally because he is a world famous artist who has learned to meld many different cultures together, endearing himself to people around the world. This was a special performance of "Faded," which he created for the Korean TV show Begin Again. The guitar player is a famous solo singer and musician named Juke Jae, he is known for his impressive guitar playing, and he is a friend of Henry, as well as a cast member on Begin Again. Henry is a musical genius! He is also a songwriter producer actor , he plays violin piano professionally and can play couple of other instruments, he dances pretty well, his song Trap, It’s you, radio, monster etc, and new songs released this year Moonlight also use a loopstation for different stage versions. It was during Covid, and how they were able to do Concerts. He sings, dances, plays piano, violin, drums, xylophone, oil drums, wheelie bins, beer bottles, potato crisp packets (not kidding), and anything he can get a sound from. He has some "busking" videos with Sohyang and Lena Park. His Italian ones are beautiful. Oh... He also speaks 12 Languages, is a Chef, Restaurateur, and Mentor for dancers, singers and child Prodigies. Oh, and he's a very nice person too.
He has a show where he plays songs with kids who are amazing at instruments that move him. He can also pick up instruments instantly like classical and traditional ones. Crazy talent

I agree - and I believe Henry's rendition of "Youngblood" rivals the original by "5SOS" - my heart literally skips a beat listening to Henry's cover of "Youngblood".
henry can play a loooooot of instruments, you should try his "loop station" videos. He can play guitar so basically all with strings's instruments, piano, drum, saxophone, all I can say it's etc🤣🤣too many🤣🤣he is basically the king of instruments 😅 And of course he can dance, he joined a show called "street dance" as a coach, he writes, compose songs, act in "A dog's journey 2" and others. I think he is starting to learn how to cook, he can do cooking flip because he acted in a cooking drama. There's a lot more, so yes he is a talented boy. Oh and there's one more, he is the first person on earth to dance while playing violin(cause he got a reward for that😂, I forgot the name)
Yes , Henry is a fellow Canadian who move to Korea a few years ago to make his mark ! He is a genius , Speaks Chineses , Korean, probably a little French since he, was Educated in Canada ! She was impressed saying she wanted to be more like Henry, his helpful, compassionate personality, the way he makes everyone feel at home and friendly with him, among other things! Some Begin again Korea Performances from SoHyang and Fellow Cast Members , @,” Begin Again Korea”, summer of 2020 This show is normally Called ,”Begin Again”, and was held for 4-6 weeks over the summer in 2 maybe three European Countries, last year with Pandemic they decided, the have it at home for the people of Korea! SoHyang was on 7 of 13 episodes and normally would not if out of country as it would be to taxing and she would be away from Fsmily too long but one of the stars got sick and they asked her! I have never seen her so excited, happy and relaxed! Everyone of these Performers are at least as well know as she is , a few way more famous, in K-POP! LOL Henry "moved to Korea a few years ago", I would say its a lot more than a few. He debuted as a member of the legendary Kpop group Super Junior-M, under SM Entertainment, in 2008 and he moved to Korea right after high school to become a trainee, so he has been living in Korea for more than 16 years now. Korea has been his home for almost half his life at this point. Korea is where he owns a house and where his company, Monster Entertainment Group, which he owns, is based. He has been an independant solo artist for more than 5 years now, but he still works and lives in Korea. He considers Korea his homebase.
fyi, they shot this concert with cars parked around in drive thru because this was during the pandemic and there was crowd control order and people weren't really allowed out in public.
Henry is a world-class violinist. In fact, he's a polymath. He plays numerous instruments, sings, dances. The man has entertainment skills sewn up. Check out one of his dance routines on Street Dance of China 4. I recommend "Captain Henry Lau's Creative Dance is Giving Off a Powerful Vibe. It's here on youtube. (Playing 2 pianos is visually exciting, but it's an easy trick. You play the right hand part with your right hand, same for the left. It's a little awkward because your hands are reaching out to the sides, but not that difficult.) That doesn't mean you shouldn't be impressed by Henry. You should. As I said, he's a polymath. Nobody should be as good as he is at so many different things. I just love him.

Henry is a musical genius! He is also a songwriter producer actor , he plays violin piano professionally and can play couple of other instruments, he dances pretty well, his song Trap, It’s you, radio, monster etc, and new songs released this year Moonlight also use a loopstation for different stage versions. Can check his loopstation version “believer” cover!

It was during Covid, and how they were able to do Concerts. He sings, dances, plays piano, violin, drums, xylophone, oil drums, wheelie bins, beer bottles, potato crisp packets (not kidding), and anything he can get a sound from. He has some "busking" videos with Sohyang and Lena Park. His Italian ones are beautiful. Oh... He also speaks 12 Languages, is a Chef, Restaurateur, and Mentor for dancers, singers and child Prodigies. Oh, and he's a very nice person too.

I agree - and I believe Henry's rendition of "Youngblood" rivals the original by "5SOS" - my heart literally skips a beat listening to Henry's cover of "Youngblood".

henry can play a loooooot of instruments, you should try his "loop station" videos.
He can play guitar so basically all with strings's instruments, piano, drum, saxophone, all I can say it's etc🤣🤣too many🤣🤣he is basically the king of instruments 😅
And of course he can dance, he joined a show called "street dance" as a coach, he writes, compose songs, act in "A dog's journey 2" and others.
I think he is starting to learn how to cook, he can do cooking flip because he acted in a cooking drama.
There's a lot more, so yes he is a talented boy.
Oh and there's one more, he is the first person on earth to dance while playing violin(cause he got a reward for that😂, I forgot the name)

Yes , Henry is a fellow Canadian who move to Korea a few years ago to make his mark ! He is a genius , Speaks Chineses , Korean, probably a little French since he, was Educated in Canada ! He plays anything with strings but is. Master on joking, Piano and loop machine !! This was from Begin Again Korea, which he among others shared the Stage with -- SoHyang an the did several Performances together! She was impressed saying she wanted to be more like Henry, his helpful, compassionate personality, the way he makes everyone feel at home and friendly with him, among other things! He help out child prodegy’s , all kinds of selfless things he is Incredible too!

This show is normally Called ,”Begin Again”, and was held for 4-6 weeks over the summer in 2 maybe three European Countries, last year with Pandemic they decided, the have it at home for the people of Korea! SoHyang was on 7 of 13 episodes and normally would not if out of country as it would be to taxing and she would be away from Fsmily too long but one of the stars got sick and they asked her! I have never seen her so excited, happy and relaxed! Everyone of these Performers are at least as well know as she is , a few way more famous, in K-POP! Yet in many performance you see the respect and Awe they have for her!
Make sure on the Misty Performance you watch it till the end ! One of the Performer who is considered one of the best male singer( Jung Seung Hwan,), talks about her Performance, he is in Awe of her talent and attention to detail! She has so much fun singing the duet at the bottom with Henry. He is a fellow Canadian , born and raised, from the Toronto area and is a Musical genius ( virtuoso on violin can play any stringed instrument , drums , piano and loop station as well as sing, write and arrange. Speaks Chinese, Korean and of coarse English, possible some French

LOL Henry "moved to Korea a few years ago", I would say its a lot more than a few. He debuted as a member of the legendary Kpop group Super Junior-M, under SM Entertainment, in 2008 and he moved to Korea right after high school to become a trainee, so he has been living in Korea for more than 16 years now. Korea has been his home for almost half his life at this point. Korea is where he owns a house and where his company, Monster Entertainment Group, which he owns, is based. He has been an independant solo artist for more than 5 years now, but he still works and lives in Korea. He considers Korea his homebase.

Henry is a world-class violinist. In fact, he's a polymath. He plays numerous instruments, sings, dances. The man has entertainment skills sewn up. Check out one of his dance routines on Street Dance of China 4. I recommend "Captain Henry Lau's Creative Dance is Giving Off a Powerful Vibe. It's here on youtube.
(Playing 2 pianos is visually exciting, but it's an easy trick. You play the right hand part with your right hand, same for the left. It's a little awkward because your hands are reaching out to the sides, but not that difficult.) That doesn't mean you shouldn't be impressed by Henry. You should. As I said, he's a polymath. Nobody should be as good as he is at so many different things. I just love him.
