Absolute peak queens of the Stone Age. Josh is in rare form. Guitars are on point . Castillo drumming right . Raunchy baselines. Solos and fills and instrumentation and cool arrangements and an awesome frickin set list. These People had an amazing night
Chandiwira Beza Welcome to the world of QOTSA! Check out QOTSAarchiveFULL
I miss Joey Castillo
Same here. Having said that. Extremely glad that Jon was ask to join Queens.
Same here! For me espcly since the moment back in 2003 where at the end of the show, he handed me not only his setlist but also a somewhat splintered drumstick he used & busted while performing 1 awesome ass aggressive solo he did in middle of Song For The Dead that was performed at a private show they did for about maybe 200 or so fans (if even that..) in Covington, KY. Show that took place was in the small upstairs room of a place called Jillian’s. Never will 4get that show! Not only got both those things from him but also both Oliveri’s & Lanegan’s setlists as well as getting to meet & talk with ‘em all for a few mins or so. Only thing that sucked was that Josh was the only one of the entire band that didn’t show up which resulted in an 11 song setlist of just QOTSA songs that only Oliveri & Lanegan sang on. Haha... anyways back to what I was saying... yeah I miss Castillo too!🤷🏻♂️🤘🏻🖤
The best way how to start a new week.
East or west Homme is best!
Just woke up to this and a colourful sky. Greetings and good morning from Manchester England 💙💚💜🌬️🌫️🌻
Man, I tell ya... whoever you are that resides at MyQotSA09 really know how to tug at the strings of a fan’s heart (yeah, like what I did there...? ppphhttt!! 🤷🏻♂️🙄) but anyways... Yeah, waking up this morning to a new video on here of an older QOTSA show was/is always a splendid way to start the day! Even though I’ve had an audio copy of this show for sometime now, it’s still just plain f**king awesome that you posted the video of it on here! Please keep ‘em coming if you can. So far over the yrs you’ve posted up some really great shows on here that I’m sure would please any/all fans of ‘Carlo Von Sexron & the boys’. Hey, from 1 collector to another... is there anyway you’d be interested at all in perhaps selling/trading off any bootleg copies of their shows that you might have in your collection? I have a massive collection of QOTSA shows thruout the band’s history available in both audio/video & am always looking for any/all shows I may not have just yet. Let me know if interested at all. Once again, thx for the posting bud!
I'm happy to know that the archives brings a smile to people's faces. Yes, I do have a collection of live shows which is available on this blog: myqotsa09.blogspot.com/. There are audio and video files accessible to download. Enjoy!
Tangled up in plaid 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Definitely my favourite QOTSA lineup/era! Shame there's no Mexicola or Regular John in this setlist but I'm happy with Avon ❤️🤘
