One other thing, once you finish the game. If you're the type to restart the game for a good challenge, you go out to the menu and you see "New Game +", from what I see, you start the game with every skill you unlocked, armor set, sword kit, bow kit every thing and go into the game with that, the options of difficulty are the same and make it harder. There's Easy, Medium, Hard and legend I think. One other thing say you upgrade one of your armor sets fully you will get maybe one or two additional armor set upgrades and usually they're pretty good. You also get to choose a horse name aswell as you start the game. There's also a vendor that sells cool masks, helmets, two armour sets I believe and sword kits yknow the stuff you get from vendors and stuff just some added things.
The gameplay is complex. But it eases you into it. Now I have the stances memorized so I don’t even look at what one I’m switching too during a large fight. 10/10 game
One thing I love about this game, and there are many, is that fact that fast travel IS fast travel! Not one of those games where you may as well run the fast travel, I’m looking at you Division2!

I played this game slowly and enjoyed the environment and writing more than other games that I just run from mission to mission unlocking everything I can. It just has those vibes lol
The Traveler's set starts at 10%, goes 20 at level 2 and 30 at max level, but the fact that you can't hotkey swap it without going in the menus kills it for me, I'd probably just use it during collectible hunts. The leader observation trick does not increase "ever so slightly" man, its literally twice as fast! From the moment that I casually got 2 points from my first leader, now I just save outside a camp and just go at it until I can take a real good look at those guys first, it would be stupid and incredibly detrimental not to do so until you have all 4 stances honestly.
mmm so the attire armor is in direct contrast with the map at the end of the story, i like to explore, i think that in this game is a good part of the experience so i will take all the time i want to uncover the fog
I wish there were more massive battles, and a chance to command your own army. Once you complete the game and take over all the mongol camps. They attack the island in massive groups at random places . Also the enemies should take over camps at random . It would give the game a purpose to keep on playing.
Hey guys questions😕! Is this game better then red dead redemption ? Please be honest because I have not been able to get hooked on a game since rdr2 thanks
I'm not gonna say it's better than rdr2 but it doesn't have that real world mechanics stuff which really ruined rdr2 for me! So you don't have to feed Jin & shave him etc!
I just bought my PS5 and i know i wanted Ghost of Tsushima way back when it was released 2 years ago. I've been playing it for the last 3 days and it's breathtakingly beautiful. This game challenges me to rethink a lot about combat cos i love to bash my way through. I have to strategize my battles and think up of creative ways to defeat the enemies especially when i'm up against encampments. But i have to say chain assasination and OTH sniping with the bow is my go to as i can headshot the archers on lookout and flit around the camp silently and take out enemies before they realized i'm there. Fun fact: i just realized throwing smoke bomb @ the enemy will burn them. Not sure if anyone has made that discovery yet. And i realized that if there are rocks nearby where Jin can jump, you can make use of it as part of your attack combo by jumping off and dealing stagger to enemies before finishing them off.
I have been waiting for this game since I first saw it a e3 17...and I have to say it is hands down exceeding my already high expectations for this game...it is absolutely beautiful and I enjoy the difficulty...well worth the wait
PSA: some tales can be lost if you progress at certain points in the game example: kenji tales 1 of 3 can be lost if no done before castle kaneda as completing it will unlock kenji tales 2 of 3
Same happened to me but after I did Kenji tales 2/3 I went back to where his part 1/3 was and was able to play it I think it disappears because of a bug after Castle Kaneda but if you go back to it in person it’ll reappear
Finished the game first time without the travels attire. Basically there is walkthrough and guides everywhere. It's very efficient to use resources to armors, weapons and items

I am glad they toned down the vibrating and added a green firefly to help direct you to the collectables. The only realy daunting thing for this game is you need easily over 1000 flowes to unlock ALL of the color sets.
Started playing it yesterday! The thing with observing the Leader to get the stances faster is incredibly helpful thank you! :D Now I just have to silence my Samurai pride and not go into a Standoff at the beginning of every fight xD

I liked this game so much I threw it on “lethal” and “Kurosawa mode” and started replaying it immediately. Play it normally first tho, maybe only put boss fights in Kurosawa mode, the game world is too beautiful to rock B&W the whole time unless it’s a replay (plus some missions require you to look for colors)
The thing that i wanted to know is that is impossible remain an honorable samurai. I mean, the first time that you do an assassination from the back it gives you flashback of your uncle..but you inevitably become a ghost. I really don't like that choice, i remember that in dishonored you have the options to play with or without lethal kills, so it would have been cool that your action affect your paths, so you can be an honorable samurai or a stealth shinobi..
I'm in chapter 2 and I have done a ton of side quests. I would say without a doubt Evasion is better than deflection. I rarely use the block button as I typically sidestep everything. When you fight a set of enemies always take out the archers first. I will das past ev4just to kill the archers first...I'm not kidding. Then I fight the rest. I find dodging towards an enemy during a red or blue attack is the best as it generally puts you behind the enemy.

This is my new favorite game. The environment is just so beautiful sometimes I just wander around admiring it without any actual mission in mind, then get ambushed and mauled down by a wandering bear 😅
Unrelated but I've watched so many of your Monster Hunter videos that I instinctively dub your intro with: "...welcome back to another Monster Hunter World: Iceborne video."
It even plays perfectly in my head in his voice.
Thanks for blocking spoilers! Downloaded it on launch day but haven't gotten around to playing it yet. Great video btw 👍
So for early skills, get all the samurai ones. Gotcha.
Shaman Xeed - Lmao. Just checked out your channel. Seems like all you do is hate on anything hype or mainstream. Get a life buddy
@Shaman Xeed someone's mad he can't kill the first boss lmao
Shaman Xeed your channel is legit all hate smh try to look at the good things in life lad😂
Botondember 😂😂😂
Shaman Xeed Found the incel edge lord. Go cry in a corner garbage baby.
2 hours and 20 minuttes and I'm unsheathing my katana...
Is that a long time or just an amazing set up?
Grey Saber it’s normal
Technically your "tachi" since it's a militar sword.
@Shaman Xeed sorry sir but ur cringe
@Shaman Xeed Epic BRUH MOMENT
this game is basicly the next Tenchu that never happened.. I love it so much
1 day until I unleash my tachi on the mongol hordes. Going samurai playthrough. Honor is all!
U gotta wait another day?
Daniel LaGant lol, nope. As you've no doubt discovered by now story arcs force your hand. You will at some point rely on something dishonourable.
I'm doing this on my stream. I'm doing my first play through as doing whatever. Second play through no stealth at all 3rd FULL ON NINJA
@Shaman Xeed I'm sorry you're Chinese
@@quack420 LOL wait are the mongols Chinese?
i like the way horse came after being called, they run allong with us, and stay close tu us,
Thanks for the tips, just picked it up and diddnt really want to go into an open world game without knowing anything about it. Id say you did a good job explaining the basics without spoiling anything.
I dig the Friday game releases ngl. thanks for the tips!
Only if amazon delivers it in time lol
Amazon sucked at next day for a long time (even before Covid). Which is why I started buying literally everything digital.
Just got my platinum, and have to say my major tips are: use your resolve liberally and dont be afraid to use those ghost tools! Outside of boss fights, I was overflowing with resolve and ammo. Dont have the FOMO and use those abilities, ammo and resolve is abundant and makes the game a lot more fun to use those cool abilities
I like this reminder , I tend to be conservative so I'll keep that in mind
"You can find all secrets and collectibles after finishing story"
Ptshh like I'd have the patience to do side stuff AFTER completing the game lol
What the hell are you talking about, the moment i finish the story that the moment everything is 100% for me
I like to find most of the collectibles and equipment upgrades, etc. before I end the main story
@@nguyenmanh2101 some people just had too much time..and some people just try to finish it for a weekend... i had fun but it getting tiredsome.. since i been play this type of game for very long time and story is only thing that get me going for 10 of hours... getting upgrade... i used whatever i had..
@@campkira even the story isn't amazing either.
I like to do a minor cleanup after I finish the game
That water stance gives me dark riku vibes
The gameplay is complex. But it eases you into it. Now I have the stances memorized so I don’t even look at what one I’m switching too during a large fight. 10/10 game
My Best Buy order arrived 30 minutes before I went to work:)
I'm assuming you called in late like any responsible gamer would 🤔
Did you take emergency leave? 'cause you should :p
Man they just sent mine in the morning getting it by 9 tomorrow
Why does America get everything last
I still have 4 hours until the pre order is done
I love how understated and subtle the travellers attire is, it makes me feel like a roguish mysterious samurai emerging from the fog of war
Thank you Arekkz! So hyped to play this tonight!
Man I got 6 hours till I can start downloading it.... And at 400 kbps.... It's gonna be a bit.
@@devyncole7435 you should be able to download already if you have it pre ordered. You just won't be able to play it until midnight
About to start playing this for the first time, glad I watched this first, great video!
One thing I love about this game, and there are many, is that fact that fast travel IS fast travel! Not one of those games where you may as well run the fast travel, I’m looking at you Division2!
I’ve made it a priority to go to all the hot springs and fox shrines to get my health and resolve upgraded to the most possible.
“Ghost of Tsushimer”
😂😂😂 gold
Arekkz i love the clean style of everything about ur channel from the video thumbnail and titles and overall in-video presentation so please keep up the way ur doing the way ur doing things and just follow what u feel is best for ur content because for people like me, we can admire it :)
This makes me want a new Tenchu game even more....
That's what sekiro was supposed to be
Ohhh tenchu, sigh.
I played this game slowly and enjoyed the environment and writing more than other games that I just run from mission to mission unlocking everything I can. It just has those vibes lol
This game is absolutely beautiful, gameplay mechanics “nice”
Yes!!! Talking to random people almost always gives you some kind of Quest. A very organic way to hand out side activities.
The charm of Inari from arrow peak shrine is extremely useful too since its gives you extra loot while equiped.
mmm so the attire armor is in direct contrast with the map at the end of the story, i like to explore, i think that in this game is a good part of the experience so i will take all the time i want to uncover the fog
Yes
Only 4 hours left until the ghost leaves his mark.
Arabian gulf.
1 hour for me 😁

PSA: some tales can be lost if you progress at certain points in the game example: kenji tales 1 of 3 can be lost if no done before castle kaneda as completing it will unlock kenji tales 2 of 3
Same happened to me but after I did Kenji tales 2/3 I went back to where his part 1/3 was and was able to play it
I think it disappears because of a bug after Castle Kaneda but if you go back to it in person it’ll reappear
You're the only reviewer that I trust anymore. Everyone else is whiny and stuff. At least you admit your own bias.
"Everyone else is whiny and stuff"?
I’ve heard many other reviewers state that they are a huge weeb so the review will be biased, so I have no clue what you mean
Finished the game first time without the travels attire. Basically there is walkthrough and guides everywhere. It's very efficient to use resources to armors, weapons and items
0:12 “ghost of sushimer”
Tsushimer* and it’s his accent its lit
For anyone coming back for this or got the game on PC. Play the side quests!!!! There are a lot of fun side quests in this game, especially the one that branches out of the main quest.
My parents won’t let me get it since I got last of us 2 last month :/
Wrong choice, should’ve gotten this.
😐😐😐
that was a BIG mistake
OOF
PoW! Right in the kisser!
I am glad they toned down the vibrating and added a green firefly to help direct you to the collectables. The only realy daunting thing for this game is you need easily over 1000 flowes to unlock ALL of the color sets.
What’s the Drifter from D2 doing in the thumbnail
😆
Started playing it yesterday! The thing with observing the Leader to get the stances faster is incredibly helpful thank you! :D Now I just have to silence my Samurai pride and not go into a Standoff at the beginning of every fight xD
I cant observe them somehow , do i have to unlock that?

Imagine choosing Xbox over PS4
When was the last game on xbox only thats gotten this much attention .......(maybe its because I'm not in the xbox loop)
Ps4 has had two in the last month or so xbo is deffiently not the place to be this gen its silly theres people out there who think otherwise
I just bought both
I liked this game so much I threw it on “lethal” and “Kurosawa mode” and started replaying it immediately.
Just started playing last week. Its absolutely amazing.
I love the travellers attire. I made a Darth Vader outfit with the samurai helmet and Avenging Lord mask.
Have not unlocked any skills yet but im loving the combat already. The guiding wind mechanics is also awesome!
Thank you. Been playing it for the past 2 day's... DOPE
Thank you, i was literally getting soo detailed in my map clearing, glad to know i don’t have to sweat missing something now
Tip:- if you haven't unlocked the moon stance amd you run into a big sheild guy
Use the kunai then use a heavy attack by press triangle
If you want to play lethal I'd recommend getting IRON WILL as soon as possible as a lot of attacks can straight up one shot you
Much appreciated. Just started, always appreciated your videos on mhw as well.
The White Merchant's dye looks awesome on the travelers attire
My Jin is fairly archery centric. With a certain set of armour, along with charms, it's very powerful.
I go between archery and sword play but the Tadayori armor is sexy so i am wearing it all the time.
Got this game for my birthday yesterday so pretty excited to start this game soon. Thanks for the video.
The technique that lets you roll to prevent fall damage is a must
