Before you spoke about the way Mina is getting taller. I was going to comment that she's looking so much healthier since she came to live with you and Neenee. It's the better diet and a good lifestyle that's working wonders for her. Even the regular structure of school days must help. Well done mate.

My jaw dropped when I saw how quickly Mina picked up dribbling. You Go Girl!
Basketball was invented in Massachusetts, New England, USA originally using peach baskets with the bottoms removed for the hoops. I often drive by the basketball hall of fame in Springfield, MA.
Next you'll have to start teaching Mina's friends to dribble so they can have a girl's basketball team when they are older! 🤩
Yup,good move,we think alike mate.....can never be over cautious,about vehicles,especially the locations you go. Don't wanna get stuck out on those back roads ,with the family mate. 🙏. At this stage,Mina is having a growth spurt ( lol) Cheers Kenno

@@NowinLao .... Yes definitely the diet,coming from that poor village,malnutrition,no doubt very common. I like the way you have on a healthy diet ,same as you. Its ok to have some not so healthy things out in the sticks ( no choice,at times/places). As you mentioned,once you get home,its back to the healthy diet and your exercise regime,pool/gym.Passing that on to Mina is perfect.I'm proud of her, as far as how well she is progressing at school,she must have a great teacher. Neenee,at home does a great job to ,with her obviously.( we see ) The both of you must be commended. Question Todd: you are funding Mina's brother ,back in the village. How much a month/year,would that cost ?...Cheers Ken

Was on the street where Tully's used to be and right across the street the are building a really cool hotel with a pool and basic Colonial French look. Even tough we have a house not too far away the wife and I were saying " wow we should stay there once just for fun". Nice to see someone do something not modern western.
Mina is such a quick learner isn't she. Growing as quickly as she is and being so active she will enjoy most sports I think. That was some Auto Shop you went to and the guy certainly seems to know what he is talking about. Great to see a bit of home life along with your tour vlogs. Love you all, God bless 😀❤🙏

I miss Vientiane. I live now in Canada. I used to live in Thailand for 6 years. In Lampang Thailand. Todd went there once with his mom and Nene. I went to Laos 3 times. Vientiane a nice city. Canada is cold and snowy. I love now in Lao. It brings back good memories.
I stayed in a village just outside Phayoa in 2022. Going back this October
Suits are popular in Africa black grey,old school is promoted but my generation has replaced suits with official half sweater or sweater black.

Mina is really coming out of her shell, so glad to see with the love you and Nenee are giving Mina. You got her doing really good with the basketball, soon you will be having her slam dunk in a few years. Lovely wedding with lively people having a blast, plus I love the James Bond comment coming from a big Bond fan. Nice yard you have Todd and yeah, that little tree is awesome and rare to find in America for sure. I can tell you and Nenee have a really busy life with taking care of Mina and the house, the autos, planning trips, weddings, festivals, and so much more, time to have a frosty one after supper and relax, just watching reminded me of those 10 to 12 hour work days going all over the states and around the cities I have lived and help build. Bless you all Todd🙏 till next time I give my best wishes of health and love to you all.

Mina will soon have the hang of basketball thanks to Papa Todd and the dancing thanks to Mama Neenee. Dale has quite the car and motorcycle collection. Yes that is a very nice bougainvillea. How fast they grow. 👍👍💖💖

Hi Guys Mina is definately starting to sprout. Just a quick point for package colection in Laos. When i went to pick up a package in Pakxan short while ago, they would not accept my ID, only ID of locals.
Was your name on the parcel or your wifes? Both our names were on this that's why I needed both ID's.
@@NowinLao I think It was mine, but I remeber she (post office lady)said the ID used had to be a Lao ID.
@@chrisperkins7331 so anybody with a Lao ID can claim your parcel? Seems weird. That would make it extremely hard for any foreigner living in Laos without a Lao partner to receive mail.

They have tried to promote basketball in Africa but it has never picked up it's seen as middle class to upper class sport.football is popular all over Africa.leagues such as English premier league la Liga, MLS,bundesliga, Australia A league etc.Rugby is second base being south Africa and cricket last in Zimbabwe and south Africa.
My generation people have stopped big weddings due to divorces.if a marriage passes 3yrs it's a miracle.
Looks like it was a great wedding. You wouldn't be able to do a Lao style wedding in the US. It would most likely wind up being a shootout. 🙏👍

When people turn 45yrs here marriages just fail .older people marriages had very difficult lives people of the 70s backwards and there marriages lasted more.
