Hey man! For the drive shaft, I took out the grub screw/pin. Then do I just pull to take it out? Because I've been pulling like crazy and I can't remove the drive shaft. Thanks in advance!
@@rcleesd thanks. I finally got it out. I think it was just seized of something. I had to put a flat head screwdriver in between the pinion gears and the plastic casing and twist and then it slide out
i bought the pre built brand new LOSI lmt from this guy and turns out that the screw that you removed at 4:13 ... 3 were missing which i had doubt at the beginning when i saw the wheel was wiggly while driving it.

Thank you! To be honest, they look identical. The mounts (holes) for the servo are even on the rear axle, stock (and replacement axle). So I would say yes, but I do believe they are packaged as front and rear, as mine was labeled "rear".
I haven't broken mine yet but I have one of the new center sections for when one if them breaks. Hope you have good luck. Aluminum sets are just over the top expensive. I'd rather buy another RC
How are these new axles holding up for those that got them stock on their LMT? Other items that are breaking? I really want one of these but just don’t have time to repair etc after every couple hours! Also, what electric screwdriver are you using? Thanks!
That's awesome that you are a realtor, I am as well! The axles have held up well, the only other issue was the servo saver broke, but a simple and easy fix. The drill I am using is an 8 volt Dewalt Max drill. I can't find the exact same one on Amazon, but this is nearly identical (pistol grip rather that straight) and comes with two batteries.....amzn.to/3AuTyXZ

I do a lot of our of state referrals etc. Maybe we could work one together and whoever sent the referral buys a rad RC for both using referral fee. 😎 #winning
I'm licensed in California and work mostly in North San Diego County. I'm not sure what you mean about variable speed? Like a two speed transmission? It does have a power adjustment on the controller for 50% 75% and 100% but no hi/low.

Quite a few folks from California are moving here right now. I’m the broker for my office, and I can’t tell you how many California transfers I’ve handled in past 2 years.
Oh, yes, it is variable speed. Goes very slow to moderately fast and has just enough torque to do the job, but not so much power that it strips screws. It's perfect for RC stuff.
Broke 3 new style axles (Bottom links broke off) in 3 days, replace both axles now with Treal aluminium axles. Expensive but I just want to play worn my truck not fix it all the time lol.

They all break in the same spot. I have the new lmt sonuva digga and the front broke right in that spot.

Yes, it should just come out. Maybe there is something bent or twisted?

Can anyone tell me if you buy a Losi lmt now, do they come with the upgraded axles? Or can you still be unlucky and get the first version?
I would say it is possible to find some old stock, but more than likely any reputable hobbie shop should have the newer version.

I agree, the aluminum is too expensive. Hopefully this holds up, so far, so good.
Yeah the aluminum ones are wild. I can get a very nice full size aluminum bumper for my Jeep for around same price as that upgrade.
They have Chinese ones for 130 a set that supposedly hold up to “15 ft drops” at a skatepark
