That’s a part I need froze up or toasted my stock servo. Can’t seem to find one + I need a better servo. Need some helpful ideas ? Was thinking the reefs 500 until I saw this video
So I've been bashing the LMT and found something that you might want to check. I think my truck was built on a Friday. On the front upper link frame side, it is supposed to kept in place with a flanged nut. On mine the link with the servo wires had just a regular nut. So when I landed it popped off and link hit the frame and sheared the servo wire. Soooo check you truck and make sure your nuts are flanged!!!!🤪🤪🤪
Replaced my front with treal a while back - no issues. Finally broke rear and was assembling the treal for it. No shims - SUPER tight mesh. Bearing are fully seated. Suggestions? I’ve tried everything I can think of! Unusable as is.
Curious why on the limit strap length. Were you come up with that number for the length. I think ones I have on mine are 105mm, they seem to work. I need to pick up some for the rear now. If I need to get longer ones I will. I had them sitting around so I threw them on.
I have those off now. Went with 105mm. The reason they aren’t in the upper hole was because the suspension would be mostly compressed. If the rain stops I’ll be able to get that video done.
I bought the black axles.. Again I watch you and question my own choices lmao. You're a bad influence! Well at least to my wife you are.. I think your pretty okay 😜
@@ExocagedRC I thought you had one from hot racing you tried but it was just to loose? The hot racing servo saver I use is adjustable and you can lock it up 100% if you wanted to.
@@the82square if your end points are set correctly and you're careful when the fronts are bound up you should be okay. In terms of recommendations, the power HD 20kg waterproof servo is good for the money.
Could always use a shock as a servo saver. Can be adjusted by a heavier spring and heavier shock oil or diff grease depending how stiff you want it to be
I stripped out the plastic on my stock servo saver. Now I'm using a pro-line big hit servo saver. Working great so far
I need to check that one out. I’ve seen it mentioned by a bunch of people.
Where did you get it from? Thought they were discontinued

Better farther in then out. That's what arrma diffs have taught us.
The problem with shafts is that they are only so long
Two words that rarely go together leisurely and exocaged lol thanks for sharing Joe
😂😂
Good choice going with the silver axles . It sure is a tough little truck now .
Have to call it LMT-HB for honey badger 🤣

Yeah awesome buddy that’s what I did my front took to the back only one been running great
I emded up using that thick shim under my pinion, and got shims to push the crown gear away from the pinion too

Sweet.
Great video.
Cool.
1S now that is funny! Great video as always.
😀
I'm waiting for the Vitavon axles!!! 😁
Yeah I’m afraid they will cost me a fortune because I will buy the Gravedigger just for them..... LoL.
Nice Jump Bro 👍
That 3rd time you skyed that jump that was awesome. I am going to bet that you can't break that truck under somewhat normal use lol haha
Luckily it was a flat landing. Any real side hit would have broken a link.
Hey try a kimbro large heavy duty type servo saver they work great.
I gotta look them up but the ones I’ve had in the past just aren’t stiff enough
another great video! really informative. thanks!
Man that thing can take a BEATING!! 😂😂
LMAO 1s battery Lmfao. Got me goin.
LoL

I just dont see why he doesn't just use the upper hole in the frame which would probably put those straps at the right distance.
@@daver18qc i have mine on separate holes. Thought thats what they were there for. Just use a screw and a nut.

@@ExocagedRC cool. Curious your thoughts. 🍻🍻
Silver axles make it PoP l love them.
I use a GPM servo saver. It’s all aluminum with 3 adjustment points
Where did the shim going? Sorry I’m new to this and I’m having bad grinding issues.
Are you still running 0°axle pitch all the way around? Or considering at least using the front pitch?
0 degree hubs on the back and the front has the stock steering links.

😀😀😂😂 I like shiny things. LoL
Why cant you adjust the 25 spline servo saver? You should be able to crank it down!
It’s a stock 23 spline. It’s adjustable but the adjuster nut is excessively tight for some reason.

Are you sure pinion is the same pitch as the gear?
Yeah. Mod1 I still have to adjust the rear.
Where did you get the shims from.
Just a matter of time. I'll own one.
Good morning what is a cheap recommend servo for crawling
I run the cheap Amazon ds 35g servo Joe uses them aswell they work great and are pretty cheap
@@jebrc I've been looking at the turnigy mg959 v2 but I don't want to over power my steering where I'll break it every time I use it

@@JiKimbo alright thank you
Don’t mess with the 959. They were awesome when they first came out but have got very cheap inside. Go for the 35kg as mentioned above.
Fuggetaboutit?
That thing look very cool but flips over a lot. I kind of want my RC vehicle planted and not ending up on its back all the time.
Yeah but you end up driving a square. I’m not a fan of that.
2nd!😂
