    Beautiful build. I'm planning to build a bartop. This is inspiring. TY for posting

    Kudos to you sir. With decades past I would imagine it's hard to get perfect restorations of these classic games. A complete scratch build from the ground up, Will give the game or games decades more life

    Great job - love it! Been considering one myself to save room in my home arcade.

    Absolutely gorgeous machine. I love how you mounted the CRT. I have a 19" CRT VGA monitor, and a Vanguard cabinet, that when I got it, was converted to LCD. The main bracket to hold the monitor is there, but not the monitor chassis. I might have to do what you did, and use wood to make my own bracket for the monitor.

    How well did that bezel artwork match up with the PC monitor? I know they aren't the exact size of an original arcade CRT are they? Looks phenomenal!

    Did you use a jigsaw to cut the pieces or did you have them cut on a machine? turned out amazing. I'm looking to take the guts out of my omega race cocktail and repro the cabaret cab. This looks like the same design

    I know this is an older video but barely seeing it for the first time. Great job with this build. I was wondering if you could share where you learned how to wire it up? I get the basic stuff but where it gets a little cloudy for me is when you add fuses. I see you have fuses between the power supply and guess the board. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

      Thanks. I used the ms-pac cabaret plans because I wanted it in a smaller cabinet.

      I got a used original on eBay, then used it as a template and then made my own with sheet metal.

    Does this have a 4-way or 8-way stick?

    • @mbott1701
      @mbott1701  6 лет назад +1

      I have an 8 way in it. Sanwa JLF with a 6 lb spring, octagonal restrictor plate, and the JLF silent upgrade so there is no clicking of the micro-switches.

      I just connected the appropriate wires from the jamma harness for ground and coin switches to the coin door wire harness.

      mbott1701 hey can u send me a picture of want wire to connect if u can this is my first arcade build and there's nothing on the Internet that shows up what to connect thanks you

    • @mbott1701
      @mbott1701  7 лет назад

      Coin 1 (JAMMA pin 16, parts side) should go to the Normally Open (NO) tab of the coin switch for coin 1. Coin 2 (JAMMA Pin 'T', solder side) should go to the NO tab of coin switch 2. You can wire directly or trace the wires from an existing wire harness, if your coin door has one. Your ground wire should go to the Common tab on both switches. Here's a pic from another scratch build I did as an example. drive.google.com/file/d/0B4v11BwvP9WoWmxhT2x2NWVxNXM/view?usp=sharing
