Yes - 3/8 inner diameter and 1/2 outer diameter. And then a brass hose barb to connect the two ends. I also used screw clamps to make sure no hoses slipped. Worked very well! I got the hose and barb at Home Depot.

I just added 12oz of shop pro power steering fluid to my Nissan Altima 2013. Is that okay that I used regular power steering fluid or am I going to run into trouble?
Hey you should be fine by adding but i do recommend flushing the old fluid out, so that your steering wheeling doesn’t start becoming hardened and tough to move Its not good to mix new and old power steering fluid
So i did exactly this today - 3/8 inner diameter (or inner hole ) Clear PVC hose (Princess Auto/ Harbor Freight , Lowes , Home Depot ) used a windshield washer fluid container to drain into. Hose was 0.53 - 0.89 cents a foot. Got a 3/8 Hose Barb (brass) at Home Depot $3.70 and a 3/8 clamp . I used 2.5 of these Amsoil bottles and bought 3 total, i probably could have only used two, but i only used 4 feet of hose, and was concentrating too much on the color of the fluid which was dark red, thinking it would go totally clear, and not noticing that inside the end of the container i used that the hose was draining clear-brown-honey colored fluid out. So i prob used half a bottle more than needed, but i'd still reccomend getting three just in case . So 1.5Litres used or 1.6 Quarts aprox.
That was pretty straight forward. I was going to ask what diameter tubing you use but I see it was mentioned in an older comment. . If you're filling the reservoir and have that crimped tube on it, how are you getting the return hose back on a full container without it spilling all over the place? Are you letting the fluid get to the bottom so it's almost empty after it starts to run clear again so you don't lose that much then refill it before bleeding the air?

Thx, did this yesterday and replace fluid and hose today. I appreciate it .
My 2017 Maxima has a non removal screen in the opening so this will not work, recommend you stay with Nissan fluid

@TheTunerdude - so you didnt use any more than the 2 bottles (16oz/473mL) , i see some people saying they used like 2 quarts / 2Litres.
