Well done IGN, you actually complimented it on being difficult and trying to push the limits of teamwork. This game is hard, and not meant to be casually played, it's rare to see, and I'm glad to see that this team was able to make it work!

This game is such a fantastic experience and concept. It's just hard to get people who want to work that hard together, it's a difficult game. I'm glad it's getting the spotlight it deserves.
Bought this game during the steam sale last week, and it is definitely punishing for new players to say the least. The match making hasn’t been very useful since 70% of the time players leave before readying up or don’t use a mic at all. That being said, using the discord has completely changed the game, the community is full of helpful experienced players that make the game an unbelievable experience.
@@slamdunklover3608 yeah, destiny compared to this one is a very simple teamwork affair. This requires way more. Not shitting on destiny but it's a walk in a park compared to this.
Agree, you really need a friends to play, and one of those friends needs to teach you guys how to play. That's the unfortunate part. It's not as easy as "get your friends together and play" You can't look up guides because the maps change, though the game doesn't change-part of what makes this game hard is knowing where to go. So you really need someone that knows what they are doing, and can navigate the team. For me, this game needed a LITTLE more action. The beginning levels felt to crawl for my taste. Ammo is ridiculously hard to find, and really your team can only really handle 1-2 alerts before completely running out of ammo.
I’d say it’s more like Rainbow Six than L4D. Don’t expect run and gun gameplay but in a select few sections involving extracting or rushing to shut off a alarm
There were a lot of carriers making calls to Sara and many times later, the call immediately noticed that the call had lost sound, the switchboard said: "We're experiencing very low call volume. If this is the number one operator, it may take longer to respond." All you have to do is wait until the problem is solved. For example, the redirect call to Ryan McCaffery, is the lowest call volume, so it can affect call performance. Once the problem is resolved, the call may work normally when you make a phone call.
...so this was a 7 min review about : THE GAME IS HARD. But can we get performance info? Platforms? Graphics? Bugs? Gun feels? Length of the game? There a lot of info missing...
Should re-review Vermintide 2 before Darktide’s release. Build some hype up, V2 has been significantly updated over the years turning it into a package with a massively generous amount of content and what is still the best first person melee combat out there. Its so much more than it was when it released, its easily my favorite game of all time. I’m absolutely praying Darktide improves on it, hoping a lot of people try it out

This is still a misleading review. All of you guys talking about how great the game are only at A1 & 2 I garuntee that. This game is poorly balanced difficulty being hard for the sake of being hard. Having done a couple of D1-2 runs in various patches the devs make a visually nice looking game into a cheese meta high skill speedrunners dream. There is no way to 'immerse' yourself at the higher levels because its so absurd at that stage your so called holding door strats will not work simply by playing it tacticool and strategizing. This game is at most a 6/10 and most people here will play it for 2 weeks tops
