Come for the funk. Stay for the cable management.
airborneninja that mono drum OH got me like thank god this ain’t a metal drum session
Exquisite 👌
This ain't a Verge PC build, thats for certain 👍
And toms
airborneninja that shit takes real talent 🙏🙏
It looks like if the ghostbusters and men in black started a funk band
For all matters supernatural and extraterrestrial, call Delta Force!
Doesn't just look like it.
I can’t unsee this
I thought they were garbage truck helpers at first
@@jasperb9233 you are not alone...
When you've got funk at 5 but paintball at 6
Dylan Walsh this is golden

3 stars
You'd think these guys are janitors or something for how clean this sounds
And for how they're dressed.
i really want to like but it's at 69 likes.
@@yamza8415 didn't this get old?

Look how clean the studio is. It's gotta be true.
Nate's drum kit had to be expanded for safety. Having that much funk in a normal-sized kit is against OSHA regulations
I think you mean the FOSHA regulations... it's like the OSHA but for FUNK.
There is a precedent for this, namely OSHA's obscure Neil Peart rule.
It’s nearly a full Hal Blaine right there.
Against OSHA regulations....That was a good one!!!
Sorry, I’m not American- what’s OSHA?
Fearless Flyers and Delta Force cleared for landing on my eardrums.
Nate looks like a kid in a candy store with all them Toms!
Reminded me of Neil Peart.
It reminds me of Harvey Mason in the seventies. The groove, the sound and the set up.
If never seen him with more than 3 toms before!
SO MUCH TOM
And he almost uses them all. Heaven!
Nobody:
Nate Smith: “Now witness the power of this fully armed and operational power station”
Ha got me! You can come again lol!
Nate says we paid for the whole kit, we gonna use the whole kit
Matt Eisenberg they finally had enough in the budget to give him Toms. dude makes his whole living on snare and hats
I feel like the deal was "if this project takes off, Nate can have a bigger drum kit and you can have a horn section"
And you could say they really *took off*
They still couldn't afford reso heads for those toms
@@jasonwalker1015 I myself owning a full set of concert toms like that, I can assure you that old, broke in asf, worn heads just sound good on those. For whatever reason. 😂😂😜
Joe's running out of frets 😳
Text BIGGER GUITAR to 0-800-FLYERS to donate 1 fret
He's dangerously close to playing the guitar.
I made a carl thompson tribute bass for myself with a undersized body and extended fretboard. 29 of them
@@daftnord4957 and i thought 24 was alot
He’s becoming too powerful
that Mark Lettieri solo is something I didn’t know I needed
i hope you know about deep: the baritone sessions
Mark Lettieri's Solo sheet and TAB: ruclips.net/video/er5NhImfv0E/видео.html
That solo is funkin' beautiful
That line at 1:37 is nutty
Great tune, but that really stood out
i cant get enough of this. I am in charge of the aux cord at work, so my co-workers soon wont be able to get enough of this either
aux cord management at its finest
I love how much of the FF stuff is based on Cory's music. Rock on!
And those solid ass rythm sections by nate Smith keeping a solid grooves down.
He produced the debut Full-Length if I remember right!
yup. lunchtime i think the cory wong version is called
So, I didn’t know these tunes were based on CW songs until I saw your comment!
I already loved him but didn’t realize he had so much solo stuff!
Now, I’m super hooked on his solo work lol!
I’m so glad you posted this, thank you!!!
1:58 = MARCHING BAND BASS DRUM LINE'S FAVORITE PART
Jerome S bro I marched bass 2 in high school wassup
@@brandonotten9501 TRIPLETS ALL DAY
Bass 3 let’s get it
I live for the moment this group plays and we get a "just the bari's" break.
Hijacking this comment to say yo to Jack when he commends this idea.
"Did anyone said Bari!?"
The bari sax or the guitar?
@@MM-vs2et yes
vulf are going insane
Joe Dart - big guitar
Mark Lettieri - medium guitar
Cory Wong - small guitar
Grace Kelly - big sax
Kenni Holmen - medium sax
Alekos Syropoulos - small sax
Jack Stratton has never been sane. In fact, Mr Jack Stratton has never in his life possessed a single functioning brain cell. He did not go to jazz school, nor did he go to any school, but damn and blast if he can't crank out some weapons-grade funk
@@dansaunders1655 Except Jack went to university to study recording and drums!
I love the symmetry of it. Also, Nate Smith - big drums, medium drums, small drums
Chris Thile- dummy small guitar
@@1chaka Chris Thile - Toy Guitar we found at a CVS
the symmetry of this studio setup is so pleasing
Jaden Chong Flying V formation
Part of me feels like Wes Anderson was involved in the production of all the Flyers' videos
I know, theyre so disciplined. Delta Force, Named after one of the best special forces in the world. Their dress code is sharp and spot on too. And they make great badass music.
it is confirmed officially: dislikers on vulf content have no soul
Like literally, what the funk
The moment I realized this was a modified version of Introducing the Fearless Fliers, I was wondering how much they would keep. Then I realized, Nate Smith only had a small set when he played his last solo. He's been unlocked
all I'm hearing is Cory Wong's Lunchtime
Nate Smith's been overclocked
My favorite horn is the long one with strings that Joe Dart plays
Nice to see Joe Dart credited as “big guitar”
I thought he played the tambourine
More like: "Introduction Nate Smith with more than one tom"
The last flyers vid they posted has this exact setup
Hey future me, nice to see you revisiting this song!
lekker bram
@@sweetegg heerlijk
This sounds like a potential to another "it gets funkier"
Ariel Paramasatya it surely can’t get funkier than IGF IV..... right??
Delta force is so elite they got Grace Kelly on Bari
In 1986, Chuck Norris starred in "Delta Force". I can say this much, even Chuck, who lost his virginity before his father, would be proud to have his movie title shared with this brilliance. #moist
Joe Dart plays that big guitar real good.
These arrangements with the Delta Force sounds like they can be featured on the next Mario Kart soundtracks
There’s a serious problem with this song...
it’s too short.
and too funk..
A 5 minutes song zipped in 2.45 minutes 😍
The bigger problem is that it ends
"Posted 11 seconds ago"
1:22 horn section counterpoint got me grinning like a stratton
I love how Nate went from no toms to ALL OF THEM.
Mark's solo takes it from "Lunchtime" to "Steakdinner".
i love how everyones head and body is completely still except for joe's
and nate's
he just can't resist
grace is dancing too
If you were to fixate Joe's head in place, his body would ragdoll around the neck.
That ending on the horn section was so crisp andnl tasteful
Bass guitar: Broke.
BIG GUITAR: WOKE.
Edit: I didn't realize I needed Grace Kelly + Vulfpeck collab so badly.
Who's hungry? It's lunchtime.
Jimmy Scollin yepppp, I love Cory’s compositions.
I enjoyed the sound of the music in that video. I also enjoyed the novel outfits, including the sunglasses, and the physical arrangement of the musicians. I like that that one guy's guitar was tuned lower than normal. And I liked that so many drums were played. I liked the lady's hair ribbon. I hope to hear more funky music from this RUclips channel in the future.
it's just a bari guitar, pretty common
Dat hit with the cymbals and the sax line at 2:14 into the next phrase. Friggin Michael Nelson arranging.
Great catch. Michael Nelson is legendary status
REAL DEAL actual musicians playing real actual music!!!!! A++++++!
And to think, this channel is now 13 years old. Good work everyone, keep it up.
Nate Smith got some serious Billy Cobham Vibes with that kit setup, I love it!
Grace Kelly!!
I get they're the Fearless Flyers, but Nate's out there looking like some anti-aircraft artillery.
The horns at the end - perfect
Everyone is so good, but Nate Smith is SO GOOD.
The delta force is the elite unit that will finally help providing global peace and global funk
The sheer amount of funk is insane
Lunchtime riffs with delta force overlay - doesn't get any better!!
Nice music
they are just *putting in the work*
Just realized that the fearless flyers always have sun glasses on because they're aviators....
Also they're in the flying V formation too, it's very smart
WHEN DO WE HAVE A FEARLESS FLYERS ALBUM GOD DAMN IT
Joe dart is killin that big guitar
So it does indeed gets funkier
Nate Smith happens to be a Fearless Flyers pilot flying a Delta Force bomber known colloquially as: Groove Control. He's the big guns and extra fuel ya need to tie together so many elite aces and keep them in squadron formation on the audience/target/funk victim.
Nate Smith killing it!!!
another good version of a song they player for the fearless flyers when they were introduced. thank you cory.
I think the subtitle to this should be "The Phase of Phases" with all the phase effects used during the scale-ups.
Each new video adds a new rack tom. We're working up to a Rush-Cory Wong Fusion band.
Eventually they'll get to Bozzio.
This is Mark’s Bruno Bacci Leonardo baritone for anyone wondering
Beasts, all of you!
Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes...
I was thinking “Whoah this has to be the least likes I’ve ever seen on a Fearless Flyers video.....ooooooohhhhh I see. Posted 3 minutes ago.” This thing will have 200k by the end of the day. #FreshPressedFire
Mind blown.
I like the one with sunglasses
🤯
the mixing is fooking nice
YEEESSSSS!!!!!!!!
LETS GOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
amazing video. great job.
How somebody can watch this in its entirety and then click dislike is completely beyond me... this is incredible! Thanks for the music as always!!!!
i'm already addicted to 1:37
Smooth
Did anyone else notice Nate Smith playing the Hawaii 5-0 drum solo at 1:58?
Vulf and Jack Stratton are hands down the greatest thing happening in music today!
good gravy!!!!
Take Flight, Delta Force!
That bass solo was STRAIGHT HOT FIRE
The funk is strong on this one
so happy to see grace doing this everyone here is so iconic yesSir
That drummer is a killer!
They've finally given him a full drum set!
Daaaaaaamn! You guys always kill it! Loved Nate’s tom solo.
groovy baby
Neat Nate!
Epic
ok, that was dope.
Yo that was the coolest thing I’ve ever seen
This is so funky I got blind. Also this is so funky I can see again.
What the funk
😉
Barbara next please!!!
1:57- Sofa king satisfying. Ooh I about fell off my chair!
Really hoping this one becomes an instant classic
Nate Smith - Very big drums
that was fucking amazing
Reminds me of the Brecker Brothers
I can't believe I am saying this, but the drum solo and bass solo were a little bit derivative - Jo's is a variation of the Introducing Fearless Flyers solo, that kind of loses direction in the middle, and Nate's tom solo is also not well phrased. Sure, say I can't play anywhere close to them (that's true) and that they are amazing musicians (that's true, and I love them). Sometimes even the greatest cook serves an under-cooked dish...
I really am weirded out to say I felt similarly, at least regarding nate's solo. I think he got lost in the rack tom gimmick
Cooler than cool. But still want the sound of that Fender bass back.
holy shit!
