Comfortably Numb (working title "The Doctor") is a song by Pink Floyd. It appeared first on the 1979 double album The Wall. The song displays Pink Floyd's progressive rock style, especially in the midst of the overall narrative in The Wall. In many ways the track is easy listening couple with killer guitar solos and interesting harmony. Since its release, Comfortably Numb has often been listed as Pink Floyd's best released track.

David Gilmour's second solo in Comfortably Numb is one of mankind's greatest achievements
Comfortably Numb is one of my favorite Pink Floyd songs and favorite song in general, and this piano arrangement is literally spot on it shocks me and I love it. Even down to the solo at the end its unmistakable all the way through. Really nice job!

Little story-
My brother really likes Pink Floyd, and I'd say he likes the 70s most for music. He kept telling me to listen to their music, so the first song I listened to was Comfortably Numb. It's still one of my favourite songs and I got really happy when I heard it on the radio the other day. Then I was looking through your channel and saw I had somehow missed this. It made my day to see this : )

What a beautifully piano arrangement!!! Starting learning it... but have to say, I’m having trouble with:
1. The pedals
2. Joining both hands
3. Left hand rhythm

Its just soo perfect, maybe can you make the post war dream it would be so nice its an underrated pink floyd song
I think the video would be even better if the songs started at 6 seconds in. This would allow people to reset the song by pressing 0 and then hitting the right arrow once putting the vid 5 seconds in, giving them 1 second to ready their fingers. This allows for easy fluid resetting for someone learning the song!
That is a fair suggestion! We try to make the songs start as soon as possible, with enough scroll time after the opening stinger to prepare for the notes. If there are requests, we usually try to squeeze them in too, so it can change things. :) Hope you understand! -Samuel
