This game is literally a consequence of the draw as vinny and oscar have completely different styles, also little salty about that one call in the jesper game but that's slvsh

The misty 4 call was wrong, but otherwise reffing is good.
Basically Vinnie can win this pretty easily by just calling nonsense like Venom grab or whatever that no one else has ever even tried. Same as VARS tournament a number of years back. Not that a switch 5050 is totally out of left field or anything, but it seemed like most of OW's letters were because of those calls. Definitely makes having the set more important, but there should be a ref's discretion that you can't just keep calling the same thing to get letter after letter.

Wanted to see Oscar win after Vinny robbed Jesper with his trash calls, so to see Vinny pull out his garbage jibbing tricks just made me real salty tbh, also those tricks every now and than but for the whole game just makes the video boring, at least woodsy reffed to keep it interesting
People getting salty about slvsh are stupid. The whole point of creating slvsh was for it to be a non serious/competitive comp for lesser known riders. Y'all care more than the people competing.

that was probably my favorite SLVSH match ever. Huge air tricks, not too many grind lines that read like cvs receipts. Hugo vs A hall as well was incredible.
People need to relax about all the “reffing” Riders throwing down is all that I love to see. In the end it’s all about the fun!
I think it's just that people wanted to see more of Jesper especially after last game, most likely because he's got a spectacular style

but how he made the comeback wasn't that fair. oscar got 3 letters because of sw5050 slides on a rail... at the first oscar said something like oh he never did this (you recognize that he didnt like it and will no get it). and calling it again for two times was for me kinda unfair...

those weird tricks were also a cause why the game wasn't that good in my opinion. only 180 and 360 and nothing more...where are those insane stunts like nosebutter 6 on
Andy TBT 180 and 360s are fundamentals. not being able to do them means you should get a letter

Hugo VS Emil FINAL IS LOOKING MORE AND MORE POSSIBLE
U can do crazy tricks like triple corks or 6 in on and 2 out on down flat or whatever but those tricks from Vincent are so unique like I have never seen before. Simple on the piece of paper but doing sw 360 on the RAIL is fucking scary and obviously not that simple hehe.
6:55 Oystein having fun - however I found the game rather boring. 3 cool shredders but their tricks in today's game fall short compared to the other 7 games before.

Fucking terrible reffing. Woodsy is normally better than this. Vinny came off early on the switch 3 to switch 50 and the 180 in switch 3 out was just a back swap front 2. Vinny also missed the grab on the misty out. Yeah it’s all for fun I get it but I hate seeing shit calls.

man as an AM rail skier who loves to 180 onto everything it's crazzzy to me a skier that good is unfamiliar with that trick
and on the bluntslide (with grab) thats shits gotta go, if you wanna flex those skis and press it out, call it a slide, but you whack your skis and go flying, its a tap. style and finesse are a fine line, lets make N.L. proud.
loving the series, and especially NY hype. not hating just want to clarify the one trick call. "switch tailslide" would be just that, not a switch blunt, as they clearly both did switch on, with the nose of skis going across rail, boot slide to half assed tail popper. its rare to see good stylie tricks in this game, so when it happens, ill take charge in reffing... cheers

Everyone saying vinny "played dirty" sounds silly. its a competition! this game is all about riders using their own styles to battle, not trying to find a "fair" middle ground between them. that being said, maybe something like alternating after every letter to take emphasis off of who wins the draw could be a good thing

good to see these guys push each other as they have very different styles. Not sure i would have counted Vinnies last trick, if you slow down the video you can pretty clearly see that he does a back surface swap to 270 out, not a 1 sw5050 3 out as he called. where as OW's 180 on is perfect by comparison even tho he didn't get the 3 out

It is the same trick. It just has many names. Just like Lincoln is also called loop
flair is in a curve like in half pipe that's flair and in a slopestyle jump the same trick is an underflip
