Several months ago when I found your recipe months ago as I wrote on my comment. Ever since I made these, my sister and niece will come over every single Monday. For months now, and I think it will probably continue forever! Thanks again for your lovely presentation.
Oh wow 😀 I’m so touched and all smiles. I’m grateful that you trusted my recipe and visited my channel. What started as a legacy for my girls is turning into something much more great to people like you and your encouraging words. Let me know what other recipes would you like to see 😀😉 I have so many, just not enough time to film them. But I can definitely prioritize them 👌🏼💛 I’m working on a special project now so you should see some interesting videos coming soon including Brunch/Hosting ideas etc. 🥰💝
OH my gosh!!! I made them a little while ago for my sister and my niece. We absolutely went out of our minds for them. I made a partially puréed strawberry and blueberry Topping. My niece took the two leftovers home with her. They were absolutely out of this world, and so easy as you said. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this wonderful recipe where I don’t have to go out and buy a cast iron skillet! You are the best.
Your comments warmed my heart ❤️🥰🤗 thank you from the bottom of my heart. That means so much to me. I launched this channel for my girls and never expected anyone else to enjoy it. I’m so grateful for your encouraging words. Thank you 😊
I have tried several recipes for these and this is the BEST full proof one that works every time! My family and friends love these when I make them. I always serve with some blueberries and sliced strawberries, whipped topping, and some maple syrup. Perfect every time. I really think that the inversion blender is the secret also because it adds air to the batter and that makes them light and fluffy so that they puff up. Thanks for sharing this!!!
I’m so glad to hear that 😀 it’s wonderful to cook/bake food that your family loves. You create memories and traditions. This is a great recipe also because you can make it ahead. Subscribe 😉 more is coming 🙌🏼
Hi I just tried this and it's soooo good!!! I used gluten free flour and only left my batter in the fridge for 10 min. The batter reminds me of dutch poffertjes. I will try making poffertjes or german aebleskivers with this batter. Thank you for sharing ❤️🙏✨
Oww definitely share the Dutch poffertjes recipe please 😀 definitely let me know if the batter works for this Dutch recipe. I’m so glad you liked them and they came out good 😊❤️
Well, Doina, you’ve done it! There now is a new ritual in my house…Dutch baby pancakes EVERY Monday morning ! The butter seeps into each pancake, and my niece said that she loves them cold when the sugar and butter have sunk it! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I make a blueberry purée sometimes with strawberries and just use that with the powdered sugar. My family just likes powdered sugar. They are absolutely amazing. Thanks again for the beautiful recipe.
Hello Doina your cake look sooo fluffy n yummy even I can’t eat your cake I can tell it smell very goods when come out the oven too but can u tell me how Hight the temperature of the oven to bake u only said bake for 20 minutes but didn’t said how Hight the temperature can u please reply me know so I can make for my family to try is , wish u n your family have a good health, eating for your reply ❤groom Canada
Hello Elaine 😀 welcome from Canada 🍁 Bake them at 425F or 220C for 20 minutes or until they puff and are golden brown. Watch them rise in the oven, it’s quite a phenomenon. I said 425F at 0.38seconds, sorry I probably should’ve said it again. In my other videos I made sure to say it twice. Hope this helps 😉 let me know if you have any other questions, I’ll reply right back. Did you see the video premiering today?! 😃😋👩🏻🍳👌🏼😉 Wish you and your family all the very best and I hope you enjoy these Dutch baby pancakes 😋 let me know after you try them 😉😀

Thanks for very nice presentation! Love short videos and clear directions! I usually make big one,, but will try tomorrow small babies 😉 . Thanks for beautiful recipe!
Hello 👋🏼 I don’t have a website. All the instructions and the measurements are in the video and I also listed the measurements in the description under the video. Let me know if you have any questions 😀 they’re super simple to make and very yummy 😋
Can i skip the sugar in the batter? Does that affect the rise? Just wanted to make this for my little one but trying to limit the amt of sugar in his diet. Thanks in advance!!
Hello 👋🏼😀 that should not affect the rise, however I’ve never done it without sugar. I would suggest adding less. The batter will rise because of the eggs not the sugar, but again I’ve never done it without. Let me know how it goes 😉
@@doinascuisine thanks! You are right- i did some extra research and there are others who made it without sugar and had no issues with rise (ex popovers). I an excited to give it a go. Will be sweetening this with banana and berries.
Don’t store them in the fridge as they’ll dry out. If you do make sure you cover them tightly with plastic wrap and reheat next day. Room temperature is fine also covered. But honestly you won’t have to store them. If you don’t finish them at breakfast you’ll snack them throughout the day, they’re so delicious 😋
When you say Oh my God, it’s offensive to my ears! For weeks, I’ve been teaching my 6 year old great grandson to please stop saying it and substitute gosh for God! We have a deal for changing this bad habit! He has learned to watch how he expresses himself and will correct us if we accidentally say it! FOOD for thought! Anyway, this recipe looks and sounds delicious!
Thank you for the feedback. I noticed a friend of mine teaching her daughter the same concept. I’ve never heard this being offensive before. Live and learn. It still doesn’t make sense to me though, but I always respect other peoples perspectives/teachings. Hope you try the recipe and enjoy it 😉
This comment is offensive, Karen. Respect that others have not joined a religious cult and do not appreciate language police in the comment section. Until people learn the real meaning ... I do agree to take that word out of our vocabulary though.
@@doinascuisine Don't worry about it, I say it ALL THE TIME...I had a friend who told me that she once had a friend who wrote her a 4 page letter telling her that she felt it was offensive. They are no longer friends....I would have deleted the person too. In my opinion, if that offends you, then you will have a hard time living in this world...Good Luck that lady...my opinion only...people can believe and live however they want. P.S. I am making these dutch babies RIGHT NOW!!
I’m sorry that sucks, I’ve had that happen before 😒 There are two main culprits to flat, sad Dutch baby pancakes: Your oven wasn't hot enough. The hotter your oven, the more puffed your Dutch baby pancake will be. Make sure to preheat the oven for at least 10 minutes before baking the batter. Did you try these two tricks?! It’s very important that the pan is very hot too. Let me know 😉
I had been making your recipe for many months. Then, all of a sudden, they stopped rising! 8 called my oven warranty co who came out and will give me a new control board and display panel which will be installed Monday 9/23/24. However, my niece just made the at her home and HERS DID NOT RISE! I read about how you have to have the oven hot and not to put the batter in the refrigerator because it’s stays cold when it goes in the oven. I’m so upset because we loved these little babies.😢
I’m so upset for you too 😟 I have no idea what happened. I’m still making them and they do rise. Here are some tips I learned: Pan and butter not hot enough The batter and pan should be hot enough for the batter to sizzle, set, and steam when it hits the pan. To ensure the pan is hot enough, you can put it in the oven while it's preheating. Opening the oven door Opening the oven door while the pancake is baking can cause heat to escape and prevent the pancake from rising. Eggs and milk not at room temperature The eggs and milk create steam that helps the pancake rise, so they should be at room temperature. Batter not rested Letting the batter rest for 20-25 minutes after blending allows the flour to absorb more liquid, which results in a better texture

Made this without the sugar but forgot to put batter in fridge. Didnt rise too well so texture was off but flavor was fine. Will have to do it again.

Just regular all-purpose flour. They come out amazing each time 😉

“6 tablespoons of butter 🧈 “ for greasing the muffin tin. Thank you for flagging that. I made the correction

I’m so upset for you too 😟 I have no idea what happened. I’m still making them and they do rise. Here are some tips I learned:
Pan and butter not hot enough
The batter and pan should be hot enough for the batter to sizzle, set, and steam when it hits the pan. To ensure the pan is hot enough, you can put it in the oven while it's preheating.
Opening the oven door
Opening the oven door while the pancake is baking can cause heat to escape and prevent the pancake from rising.
Eggs and milk not at room temperature
The eggs and milk create steam that helps the pancake rise, so they should be at room temperature.
Batter not rested
Letting the batter rest for 20-25 minutes after blending allows the flour to absorb more liquid, which results in a better texture
Let me know if any of these tips work. I really hope you can make them again 😉
