    We were pleasantly surprised by our first trip to Managua. What did you think of Managua? Was it different to what you expected? We'd love to know what you think!

    Of course, my favorite part of Managua is the "Metrocentro" and 'Carretera a Masaya' general area. All in all, you've done a great job of giving us an idea of what Managua is like. The shopping in Managua and food options videos complement this one very well 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
    Cheers ✌🏻😎

      Thanks Edward! We figured that there weren't as many videos out there about Managua and decided to set the record straight. Thanks for watching!

    I really like this driving tour you guys covered a lot of ground and I learned a lot about the capital city. Wow only $1 for a one hour bus ride that's crazy.

      Hey Laughing Lion, so glad to hear you enjoyed the tour. Yes the public transport here is so affordable and it is a great national system for mobility!

    Love the area, look very beautiful and relaxing.
    Especially the beach next to it make the most of fun

      Managua certainly has some pretty areas. We got lucky as we caught Managua on a 'good hair' day, as 'relaxing' is not usually a word you associate when navigating the Managua traffic! Thanks for watching Roman and Fizah!😉

      Thank you for watching. Managua may not be the most beautiful of the cities of Nicaragua, but it definitely has its moments.

      I know right!? Electricity doesn't come cheap in Nicaragua, certainly ripe for a green energy revolution. Thanks for watching Ste & Rach!

      @BucketListTravellers  2 года назад +1

      Oh, we must have missed the one on the road to Masaya. No need for Mcdonalds when you have fritangas!😋😋

    Why didn't you try for temp residency visas instead of renewing 30 day tourist visa over and over?

    • @BucketListTravellers
      @BucketListTravellers  2 года назад +1

      We weren't eligible for residency unfortunately, we certainly considered it. We never knew of a temp residency option, that would have been very handy!

      Hi Elvin, is that a question? If in Managua, we thought the intercontinental hotel looked pretty nice. We didn't stay there but ate at their restaurant. They have great Japanese food there!

    It is soooo empty, it no people around. Reminds me of the movie 28 days later. How hardcore is mask enforcement?

    • @BucketListTravellers
      @BucketListTravellers  2 года назад +2

      😂😂Yes it was pretty quiet when we visited. Although we did get a good time of day with little traffic. Mask enforcement is only in shopping centres, banks, hospitals and government facilities.
