Of course, my favorite part of Managua is the "Metrocentro" and 'Carretera a Masaya' general area. All in all, you've done a great job of giving us an idea of what Managua is like. The shopping in Managua and food options videos complement this one very well 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Cheers ✌🏻😎
I really like this driving tour you guys covered a lot of ground and I learned a lot about the capital city. Wow only $1 for a one hour bus ride that's crazy.
Hey Laughing Lion, so glad to hear you enjoyed the tour. Yes the public transport here is so affordable and it is a great national system for mobility!
Managua certainly has some pretty areas. We got lucky as we caught Managua on a 'good hair' day, as 'relaxing' is not usually a word you associate when navigating the Managua traffic! Thanks for watching Roman and Fizah!😉
Wow, crazy to hear that it costs 1 million dollars a year to have those trees in the city! 😳 Nice touch but expensiveeeee haha. Great video as always guys!
We weren't eligible for residency unfortunately, we certainly considered it. We never knew of a temp residency option, that would have been very handy!
Hi BLT,perfect video to remember how has it changed after the earthquake 1972.There is no center so the city has spreadmainly to the road to Masaya. Its memory lane time for me,muchas gracias mis amigos de Australia!!
Hi Elvin, is that a question? If in Managua, we thought the intercontinental hotel looked pretty nice. We didn't stay there but ate at their restaurant. They have great Japanese food there!
😂😂Yes it was pretty quiet when we visited. Although we did get a good time of day with little traffic. Mask enforcement is only in shopping centres, banks, hospitals and government facilities.

Thanks Edward! We figured that there weren't as many videos out there about Managua and decided to set the record straight. Thanks for watching!

Powerful and amazing video!!!!
Thanks Reel Happy Travellers!

Love the area, look very beautiful and relaxing.
Especially the beach next to it make the most of fun

Nice, I love it 👌
Glad to hear, thanks for watching Francisco!😀
Beautiful video looking 😃
Thank you for watching. Managua may not be the most beautiful of the cities of Nicaragua, but it definitely has its moments.
Hermoso Nicaragua
Gracias por ver a Darwin.
Cool little tour! Managua looks the same as it did 20 years ago
Thats really interesting to know. Perhaps a couple more tributes to revolutionaries in that time? Thanks for watching Kattie and Chris!
Love it ❤️! Well done!
Thanks John!😁

I know right!? Electricity doesn't come cheap in Nicaragua, certainly ripe for a green energy revolution. Thanks for watching Ste & Rach!
Looks like such a nice city! One day I'll make it there ^_^
We hope you can make it to Nicaragua one day! If you like the look of Managua, then you will love other cities like Granada and Leon!
Beautiful trip 😍 very nice guys congrats 👏 😀 buckets 🪣 list thanks 😊 be safe 🙏🙏🙂🙂 and be well 😀
Glad you enjoyed our driving tour Paul, thanks for watching and we hope you are safe and well too!
there are actually 4 mc donalds in nicaragua, one on the road to masaya, another in bello horizon, multicentro and in the city of leon
Oh, we must have missed the one on the road to Masaya. No need for Mcdonalds when you have fritangas!😋😋
There’s a McDonald’s in Leon , in el central 😁
Whoops, we must have missed that! Thanks for letting us know!
There’s literally like 5 McDonald’s in Managua alone and another 2 in Leon and Chinandega.
Thanks for watching Roan. There is no need for McDonalds when you have fritangas! So much better!
Why didn't you try for temp residency visas instead of renewing 30 day tourist visa over and over?
We weren't eligible for residency unfortunately, we certainly considered it. We never knew of a temp residency option, that would have been very handy!

Yes Carretera a Masaya is definitely a key feature of Managua and that is a looong road! You're welcome Henry, thanks for watching!
@@BucketListTravellers Thanks, gracias to you!!
Best hotels to go

It is soooo empty, it no people around. Reminds me of the movie 28 days later. How hardcore is mask enforcement?
😂😂Yes it was pretty quiet when we visited. Although we did get a good time of day with little traffic. Mask enforcement is only in shopping centres, banks, hospitals and government facilities.
