As a middle schooler of a wonderful AA band, I’m getting to march next year as an 8th grader. Thanks for giving me a pov of how it feels to be on the field making greatness edit: me and you both have the same sound from our own pov. I relate to you this much. edit #2: for those wondering, the reason I got in is because, for 1, my school always has like 13 trombones in each show. they had 4 highschoolers. the second reason is that my director thought I was extremely good. So good that he thought I could be able to manage playing over entire sections all alone, and he was right. EDIT NUMBER THREE: WE’RE BOTH THIRD TROMBONE
You’re right I count a lot haha, I only do it because for me it keeps me thinking about what I need to focus on when I perform. It’s very easy to go on autopilot many times especially in a show you may have done several times this late in the season. So counting for me forces me to continue thinking specifically about the show and the music.
I think they just needed a place to rehearse for UIL State, and since UIL State was in the Alamodome in San Antonio, they just asked if they could use it.
I apologize my hair gets in the way sometimes.
Such a good show, loved watching this from a fellow trombone's pov. Good stuff
Thank you man 🙏
